my keyboard has no keys for volume control, how can i make a macro or something to easily control the volume - macros

I just bought a new keyboard but I can't find anything in google for my problem. If you can suggest me a program or anything else it would be really appreciated.
I tried searching it on google and I actually couldn't find a clear answer for 20 minutes. I don't know if I am braindead or something and missed the solution to my problem, but I study computer science so I should know how to google.

It depends on what OS(Operating System) you have.
If you have MacOS (apple on the top left corner), you can change that in System Preferences/Settings (as well as add the volume to the menu bar) or through the Control Center (2 switches on the top right)
If you have Windows, then you can change that in the speaker Icon in the notification area (bottom right) or using settings (just search for Audio)
Hope this will help

Pixel picking in Swift

I am trying to create a functionality (for a macOS 11+ application) where I pick a pixel from the screen (e.g like the one from Digital color pickier/ any color picker). However, I am having a hard time finding a way to do that.
I tried to "reverse engineer" some applications from AppStore and when I want to pick the pixel, the apps ask me if I want to give permission to record the screen, so I guess that they are "recording the screen" and they exact the pixel from a movie/picture that they record on the spot. However, this solutions does seems a little bit overkill and I think there should be a better way (a good example is Digital Colour Meter that does not ask for permissions).
Do you think that this can be achievable in a somewhat easy and clear manner? Also, if not, is my guess right with "recording the screen" and capturing a pixel from within the clip (of course, in real time)?
NSColorSampler was introduced in macOS 10.15 (Catalina). You can use it to sample a color from the screen using the system's built-in color picking interface. It does not require screen-recording permissions.
It's mentioned around the 5 minutes mark in WWDC 2019, Session 210, What’s New in AppKit for macOS
I would probably wrap it, and take a hybrid approach where I use old methods (with the screen permission prompt) on old versions, and NSColorSampler for new versions.

Button outline disappears randomly on Xcode

Really really simply question.
In my own computer when I create a button with Xcode, I can see the blue outline.
But, in my office's computer I do the same thing I can't see the blue outline (and can't figure out how much bigger the button is).
What is happening?
I've recorded a video and uploaded to YouTube in order to be more clear — https://youtu.be/Bl_aOXxtIeA
PS: I've been trying to solve this thing on last 3 days, and no luck, even contacting a friend which is an iOS developer.
Folks, I just found the solution (trying by myself). Thanks for the replies too.

iBooks style settings popup window

Does anybody know how it has been realized? I have found many topics about popups for iPhone (alert style, etc.), but this case is more complicated for my opinion. In iBooks we see shadows, arrow and borders. This window closes after tapping outside borders.
PS Can't post image here, but I have found an example:

Well, back some time ago I had to face a similar problem. Strictly speaking, what we see there is a popover, but the documentation explicitly states that UIPopoverController may only be used in an iPad application so you will probably have to do what I did: implement your own or, perhaps better, find an open source implementation (there should be plenty of them out there).

Select and drag text on Mac OS X 10.6 doesn't allow me to drag

I have just been enlightened on what I previously thought was a short-coming of the whole Mac OS X platform - that like Windows, a user may select a block of text and drag it. This is particularly useful in developing.
However, the reason I thought it wasn't an available option was because it has never worked for me. No programs allow for select and drag, and I've gone through several online tutorials and forums to see if anybody else has the same issue. None of my work-mates can figure it out.
Why would my whole system dis-allow text dragging? Now that I know it's possible, it's driving me crazy not being able to do it.
I've gone through the System Preferences and the Mouse panel has no specific drag option. Trackpad has a single-finger drag option, but that's not allowing dragging, even with the trackpad.
I'm on a Macbook Pro, from around 2008. I'm using an external mouse and running OS 10.6.
This should probably be on apple.stackexchange.com instead of here, but be that as it may... the trick is that you need to hold the mouse down for a fraction of a second, until the mouse cursor changes from an insertion point to an arrow, and then you can drag.

What is a good way to implement a menu system for an iphone game?

I'm working on a project and I've been asked to add a fairly detailed and nested menu system overtop pre-existing gameplay. I'm new to iphone programming in general, but have experience with other C languages on different platforms. I'm looking for an example of a good clean menu system architecture.
So far, I've gotten a little used to how the xib files interact with the code, but I still have a ways to go it seems. I have two UIViewControllers; lets call them UIViewControllerA and UIViewControllerB. I started with UIViewControllerA (the game's main view controller) and want to add UIViewControllerB as a menu to lay on top the game window. The only way I've found to get UIViewControllerB to render is to use it as a data member of UIViewControllerA and add it as a subview to UIViewControllerA.
This seems like a very unclean way to organize this system and introduces some bugs. IE - when I have UIViewControllerB showing, the touch events fall through to UIViewControllerA which I do not want.
Sorry this is long, but I'll get to the point. Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to create a clean and robust menu system? I feel as though I am way off the mark. I don't think I have enough experience to come up with a good system on this platform.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT:
I feel as perhaps I didn't specify that I'm seeking help for technical programming design rather than visual design. I'm seeking for a way to implement a state-machine type architecture for an iphone platform.
Check out this link - https://github.com/relikd/OGActionChooser
It's a nice-looking replacement for a UIActionSheet or UIAlertView - this could easily be customized to present a modal menu system.
A really easy way to have a clean menu page, simply take a picture of hardwood floor (or off the web) and add buttons. I would show an example but I need 10 points...
Take the pic, onto PS (photoshop) and add a box or square, add shadow and some cool special effects, upload it to xcode, but the buttons in the box.
