Sending a message from an event to a transition? - anylogic

I'm trying to send a message to activate the transition in the second pic attached. I've used this command line
deliver("nuovo epicentro")
but it doesn't work. The transition is not in the main section, but in the agent Tir, while the event is in the main environment. How can i fix it?
Thank you.

You need to specify which 'tir' agent you want to send it to, how would AnyLogic know?
So you could write 'tirs.get(0).deliver...'. This will send it to the first agent in the population of 'tirs'. Note that it will throw an error if there is no agent in that population
On a broader note: you need to start understanding model hierarchy and how to navigate it. Do all the tutorials in the help, they show this quite a bit.

Is there a function in AnyLogic to display an alert message during model run?

I would like to display some text in an alert box similar to what the error() and errorInModel() methods create, but not as an error, just a simple message. I searched for a built-in method in the Help, but couldn't find anything.
It's not intended for an end user, just for myself as an alternative to printing to console during debugging.
No, but you can create an agent type with a visual warning msg.
Embed the agent in Main as myAgent.
When you have your issue, you jump into the agent using ((Main)getRootAgent()).myAgent._origin_VA.navigateTo();
this will visually jump into the agent.
It is up to you to change the msg in that agent using a text object, obviously.

Course completion report is not working properly it showing the wrong output

i am trying to implement the course completion status block in my moodle to check this i made a student account in that status is showing pending and also other status is not working correctly i give the course completion setting and activity completion setting. And if i click on "More Details" this page is opening (picture 2) in which it also showing incomplete and complete the quiz and pass also still it showing incomplete.
And after this i check in admin from course report so this also reflecting there, in (picture 3) self completion and course complete is unmarked.
I need this to check the student is complete the task properly so i can provide the certificate to him "not custom certificate".
So Anyone could please suggest something?
First of all you have to check that your cron file is working or not for that go to administration>server>scheduled task in that check for the completion regular task is working if not then first work for you cron then it will automatically work.
And your self completion is still not responding after that this is because you didn't add the self completion so add this block and manually complete the course and then it will properly.
For cron i suggest you only go for moodle docs only and then implement it.

IBM Watson Conversation : Intent is not triggering the dialog, all user inputs lead to anything_else

I'm a complete newb in this field, so started with the tutorial in the documentation. This is the page where I'm having problem.
I'm able to create the welcome dialog, and changes in the anything_else dialog are reflecting fine. But when I create a new dialog and set the trigger to the intent, it does not work. I've tried typing in the name, copy pasting it, clicking on (create new condition) and not. Tried different browsers and restarted project too.
There is a dropdown on the text that I type in the bot panel that says choose intent name and gives the list of two intents I've made. When I try clicking on the intent it's supposed to be in, I get this error :
Unable to change the intent. Error: Unique Violation: The value "good morning" already exists
I don't know what I'm doing wrong and googling it gives no result! Comment sections on different websites too seem to be having no problem with it as well.
Any help is appreciated!

Based on attached JSON, your problem is that Watson conversation is stuck in the training process (if the pink message is showing a long time, that means he stuck).
I cannot explain why it happened. But I know the solution, just use "conversation_start" instead of "welcome" trigger
Most probably, you placed "anything_else" node above your intent node.
Anything_else should be the latest node, because watson is executing it sequentional, once he will find match, it will go into.
Be sure, that you have the same order:

Javamail to receive emails; whats wrong?

I am trying to create a very simple (text based for now) email app for receiving emails. So far i have used this code :
http://www.javaer.org/j2ee/3-javamail/8-javamail-connecting-gmail-using-pop3-with-ssl
The problem is that i when i run this code i am able to get the new emails, only for once. For example if i have a new message in inbox the first time i will this code it will show it but then it wont. Also it seems that i cant see the body contents of the emails which is strange. I was told that it should be better to use imap protocol but i am not entirely sure how.
Specified example really starts once and scans folder and exits (and see answer on POP that removes mail). From description you need some loop that periodically checks catalog and extracts new mails. Look at some swing examples in your JDK how to write window-based program with event loop. You can start dedicated thread that once per minute checks POP server catalog

Loading external image on SSRS

I have a picture box on SSRS. I want to load a picture to it, for exam from
D:\Pictures\TV1.jpg (actually user will decide it by using OpenFileDialog)
I have set the Source to external and in Value expression I tired
="D:\Pictures\TV1.jpg"
and
Also tried
="/<D:\Pictures>\TV1.jpg"
but my picture box shows error picture in both cases.
Please advise what is wrong.
Thanks
Furqan
Put file:D:\TV1.jpg in the value property.
=" not to be used..........
Try this:
="file:D:\Pictures\TV1.jpg"
The above works; you only have to ensure the server running SSRS can access the drive letter indicate i.e. upload the photo to a drive visible to the server.
="file:D:\Pictures\TV1.jpg"
