I want to make a view like image below that has a list of items to be shown as gridview.but I want it to have like 8 of them in each page and user can go next and previous page.could you help me how to do that?
My advice is to use Wrap instead of GridView and you can handle it and it can fill the pages according to the screen size.
if you are fetching datas from api and it has pagination you can manage to show list of Wrap in every pages by clicking Next or Previous.
if you had any question about my answer i'm here to make it clear.
Happy coding...

I would like to know your idea about the best method to present several personalized horizontal lists, in the spotfy style.
With different preferences and musical styles.
The best way would be to create several listviews? or structure a database and make it somehow present only a few things on the user's homepage?
any suggestion?
i dont think there would be any problem displaying different list view on home showing few items ( 3 or 4 ) of that list and a button above each listView as View All on tapping using that list all items on that category personal screen
you can add multiple ListView as you can possible Try SingleChildScrollView for multiple ListView or Layouts

I want page that has opacitiy on its background, so the user can see previous page's layout even in the second page. I try to use showDialog(), but it wasn't the answer, since it does not have routename. I will attach the picture that I want. Please help.
What I want
You can check this answer on SO, is similar.
Or do it in a different way and use Stack and Opacity widgets to achieve this.
Can any one explain what is the specific usage of UIPagecontrol in iPhone please.
I am using it for pagination in scroll view. Is there any other specific purpose for it???
Reading documentation for UIPageControl help you to understand uses of pagination.
Pagination, which automatically separates the content in your form into smaller groups of rendered content. When you use pagination, these groups of content are automatically formatted to fit the target device. The form also renders user interface (UI) elements that you can use to browse to other pages.
Here is the more simple explanation

You can know how many pages are there and also tapping on it ll navigate to next page.
I have a cellTable with 5-6 columns. I want to put a plus icon in each row on clicking of which will display the details maybe in a disclosure panel. I have been looking around for a while now and I cannot find any information on how to achieve this. Could someone point me in the right direction?
i suspect i probably have to add a cellTree to the column? how do i go about this?
Thank you for your response in advance.
There is work in progress to allow expandable rows in CellTable among other features (maybe GWT 2.3). You can see more details here:
http://groups.google.com/group/google-web-toolkit-contributors/browse_thread/thread/b4a8a6e3c98ac061#
If that is not enough or you can not wait untill it is released I can think of two ways to achieve it:
As you said, using a CellTree.
Creating a custom cell that stores
state (open/close). Depending on the
state the cell will render
differently. In same way it is
similar to how EditTextCell works, in
"edit" state it renders an input
field while in "normal" state it renders
simple text.
I'm trying to do that too ... I managed to mimic that functionality toying with the html and a custom cell class that allows clickable pictures.
It is working for normal content such as text but if you'd like to get an asynchronous data to show in the expended line, I don't know how to do it ... (I'm trying to do exactly that).
Also, it doesn't look good because the columns don't align well ...
So what I've done is:
- create a custom cell class to display a picture (right pointing triangle, looking like the triangle in the disclosure panel)
In the click event get the HTML code of the selected row and copy it. Replace the content of the row (all cells) in the table with only one cell with its colspan set to number of columns. In the cell, add a table with first line the copied row and second line the content to display as expanded.
Get the image to sink an event for closing. In event, reset the original row that we copied.
I hope it helps.
I would like to build a report that starts at the bottom of a page and grows upwards instead of a report that starts at the top of the page and grows downwards. How could I do this?
--Edit--
For clarification, below is an image depicting the way I need to construct the report.
Basically, I'm looking for a way to have the whitespace at the top of the page and the data at the bottom of the page, instead of the more traditional look of data at the top of the page and whitespace at the bottom of the page.
Without knowing much about what the request is, I don't believe there is a way for the report to run from the bottom up, but you could possibly do a couple things to fake the system out.
For example you can do something like in the following link to put your summaries in the header:
Crystal Reports: global variable running total not displaying in header
Then you can play with the sorting of the details if you need the rows to go in decending order.
Hope this helps.
[EDIT] I see you updated your question so I'll add an update to my answer.
One more thing you can try out is to play around with the Print at the Bottom of the Page and Keep Together properties of the sections. I haven't tried this, but one thing you may be able to do is put the section at the bottom of the page and perhaps find a way to have the section grow from there. You will have an issue if the page goes to another page and though it seems possible in my head that the section could grow while being placed at the bottom of the page I haven't tried it so it might not work. I am just throwing it out there for one more thing you can try. Hope this helps.
You could try:
Create an empty report with your headers and related text
Put a subreport displaying your data in the report footer and set the sort order for the subreport query to descending.
In the report footer properties, select Print at bottom of page
I tried it with some sample data and it works, but I'm not sure what will happen if your data goes to two pages.
