I have designed a mobile application using flutter, I have seen that it is compatible with the web and I would like to know how to migrate my already designed application to the web environment, I know that I must take into account the compatibility with the dependencies that I have used and already reviewed.
At the moment I have carried out the following process, but all it does is create a folder with few elements that when executed, the browser opens with a blank page, the flutter logo and a blue appbar. What procedure am I missing?
flutter config --enable-web
flutter create.
flutter run -d chrome
I am trying to build an app. I am using flutter as the framework and VS Code as my IDE. I also have an android emulator installed via android studio. I am trying to implement authentication. If i run my app it opens in the emulator and works just fine. Now i want to test if a user stays logged in when the app is closed (not running in the background) and reopened. However if i close the app in the android emulator, the whole process stops and there is no icon of my app on the home screen with which i could restart it. I have to "run and debug" again in VS Code to restart the process. Is there any way to start the app again via the emulator phone?
I updated the emulator and the flutter package, i changed emulator devices. Did not solve the problem.
Because when your app is disconnected from debug - you can use hot restart its consider as app is kill and open again - here having a problem with flutter if you disconnect from debug your all assets will be remove from entire app. Another option - if you want to test your app then make release app and installed in physical device
You can try to run your app from VS Code itself.
Use this bottom Menu button to launch emulator:
Select your Emulator from listed / Create a new one:
Hope it helps!
I have a Flutter Web app, where my customers can create their own pages. So they access their pages like this:
mydomain.com/mycustomerpage/admin
The problem starts when they decide to install the app (PWA) on their desktop. When they open the installed app, it goes to mydomain.com and not the full path stated above.
I tried it myself, and even if I install the web app through a customer admin page, it only keeps the root domain when opened.
Does anyone know how to install the app including the full path?
I have a website made with flutter web. My app which shows google admob ad. Now google admob told me to create an app-ads.txt file on my website . Flutter web is a single page website so, is it possible to create an app-ads.txt file with my flutter web app !?
I also recently tried flutter web. I went on a "fishing expedition", and managed to solve this issue.
What i did:
Place your app-ads.txt in <project>/web folder.
Run flutter build web
Check that app-ads.txt appeared in build/web folder.
Check that in build/web/flutter_service_worker.js in RESOURCES map appeared a record with key "app-ads.txt"(ex. "app-ads.txt": "4c75380ac52243715a448e96239e0ca5",)
Run firebase deploy --only hosting
After this, app-ads.txt should be available on https://your-domain.web.app/app-ads.txt, https://your-domain.firebaseapp.com/app-ads.txt and(if you added a custom domain) on https://my-custom-domain.com/app-ads.txt.
P.S. If you got redirected from /app-ads.txt to your main page, then try to clear your site cache:
Press F12
Open "Application" tab
Choose "Storage"
Press "Clear site data"
After this, app-ads.txt should be available.
I want to use the Ionic 2 app I build as web app (progressive web app). But I want to when build, it will ONLY use android material design. Right now in localhost by running Ionic serve, the result on my browser is random - sometimes it looks like Apple with tabs at the bottom, and sometimes it looks Android with tab up top.
How can I build the app to make sure the output www folder will ONLY use Android style. And I can deploy the build as a website (run on desktop with no Cordova stuffs)?
You should be able to set the mode prop in the config options when you bootstrap your app in app.ts:
ionicBootstrap(MyApp, [SomeProviders], {mode: 'md'});
