I have developed two apps (Free and Paid) I will upload it on App store. But my question is how can I add a link in Free app to download Paid app. I would like to add a "Click to buy full version" link.
Since I don't have any app on iTunes, so how can add a link on my Free app. And I have seen may free app doing this.
It's been a while since I did this so I may be mistaken, but don't you get an Application ID when you create a new app in iTunes Connect? In that case, all you need to do is create a new app but tell iTC that you're going to upload a binary later. You can use the App ID to create your link.
Upload the paid app first.
Wait untill it gets approved, and then you will have a link to it.
Upload the free app, with the link to the paid app

Just a few days ago our company added an app for apple tv on review in the App Store on public distribution. After review apple said that we had to change our distribution to unlisted app distribution. I think: "Ok, it would be downloaded by the direct link". Today they approved our application and now it has a direct link to App Store. But now I find out that there is no browser on AppleTV and I could not just go to the url and download the app. Also, I couldn´t send link via AirDrop or paste it in Notes.
So the question is how I can download the unlisted app from AppleTV.
P.S. Of course I send a request to Applse Support, but they will send the answer in 2 business days... it´s too long
IOS paid application sharing we need to block.
Planning to submit paid application in Apple store. Suppose a user brought application and download to Itunes account, then i sync to my mobile device, able to use that.
1.From itunes can we share application ipa to any other user?
2.is there any way to identify which apple id used for downloading?
3.any option for blocking user without downloading from apple store?
Apps bought/downloaded from the app store are linked to the account that download the app. You can there for not just share the IPA.
On a jailbroke device you might be able to remove the security measures that restrict this. But what you are proposing is not possible with official App Store apps.
You cant code to UDID anymore since the update to the iTunes ToS. They are all account bound. In the cases I have tried to share the .ipa file the app data inside that app specific to me did not migrate to the new user
After looking at a dozen or more posts on here about how to create a link to open your application in the App Store, none of them have worked (most are from '09-'10).
Many of those posts even say it should work before submitting your app, as long as you have made the app in iTunesConnect, and copy the app id there.
When I try the "View in App Store" link in ITC it says: "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store."
My app binary has not been submitted yet, is it possible to test this link at this point?
You cannot view apps in the iTunes store that have not been approved yet. That means the links won't work until the app has gone through the review process. The URL for the app store link should look like this:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/YOUR-APP-NAME/idNUMBEROFYOURAPPHERE?ls=1&mt=8
You can get the app number in the "Manage Applications" link of iTunes connect. This technique hasn't failed for me yet.
Hope this helps!
I know you can release your app throw iTunes connect and use the 50 redoom code for customer to free download.
But is there a preview store I can use to allow customer have a preview before I actually release to the app store?
Cheers
Phil
testflight is the option !!!!
I can be read at :testflight's official site
If I have app which is already on App Store is it allowed to sell it on my website ?
You can create website for it, you can promote it there, you can put direct link to the AppStore on your page, etc. But there's no other way how to distribute it - just AppStore. Otherwise users will no be able to install it on their phones.
You can check this website, it has some information about promoting your app on your website. http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/faq.html
