Eclipse WTP - "No tab group defined for launch configuration type org.eclipse.jst.server.tomcat.core.launchConfigurationType" ...? - eclipse

When I double-click on my tomcat server on eclipse's "Servers" tab I get taken to the propeties page. This page has only one tab, "Overview" and has a red square as its icon. When I click on the "Open launch configuration" link on the "Overview" tab I get two popup messages:
Exception occurred creating launch configuration tabs
Reason:
No tab group defined for launch configuration type org.eclipse.jst.server.tomcat.core.launchConfigurationType
And:
No tabs defined for launch configuration type Apache Tomcat
Eclipse's "Error Log" tab has:

Thanks...

Looks like an installation issue.
Try a new installation of WTP on a clean eclipse (that you can unzip anywhere you want, in order to not mess with your current eclipse installation).
As mentioned in the WTP download page, you can try their update site with the p2 update process.
If you are just getting started with Eclipse or Eclipse Web Tools, you may want to first install from the Galileo update site, as it would have everything you need to get started.
This Web Tools Platform update site does assume you have all the pre-reqs installed.

I tried to reinstall JavaFX and SceneBuilder but it changed nothing.
Reinstalling Eclipse Software also wasnt helping.
It looks like e(fx)clipse hasn't been updated for 2022-12, which removed some DataBinding APIs.
You can open an issue at https://github.com/eclipse-efx/efxclipse-eclipse/issues, but if you can work up a pull request to fix it, that'll probably move things along far more quickly.
I found a workaround to this problem.
Create a new JavaFX Project
Eclipse Project Creation Wizard Selection Screen
Rename the FXMLDocument to something unique
JavaFX Project Navigator Display
Right-click and copy the .FXML file from the bogus project you just created
Right-click in your real project and paste the .FXML file into the actual project
New .FXML file is in the original JavaFX Project
Delete the bogus JavaFX Project to clean up
Nod sagely and pat yourself on the back
I had the same problem, it was because I was using eclipse 12-2022. Just downgrade it to eclispe 09-2022.

Eclipse RCP Application Export Application Could Not be Found in The Registry Error

I've been facing this problem for days and unfortunately I couldn't find the proper solution on the internet.
I followed the instructions on this tutorial to build a RCP application.I successfully built my application and got it running inside of the eclipse. Now, after importing my application using eclipse product export wizard in the .product file, I get a runtime error and my log file looks like this:

!MESSAGE Warning: EGit couldn't detect the installation path "gitPrefix" of native Git. Hence EGit can't respect system level
Git settings which might be configured in ${gitPrefix}/etc/gitconfig under the native Git installation directory.
The most important of these settings is core.autocrlf. Git for Windows by default sets this parameter to true in
this system level configuration. The Git installation location can be configured on the
Team > Git > Configuration preference page's 'System Settings' tab.
This warning can be switched off on the Team > Git > Confirmations and Warnings preference page.

!MESSAGE Warning: The environment variable HOME is not set. The following directory will be used to store the Git
user global configuration and to define the default location to store repositories: 'C:\Users\Emad'. If this is
not correct please set the HOME environment variable and restart Eclipse. Otherwise Git for Windows and
EGit might behave differently since they see different configuration options.
This warning can be switched off on the Team > Git > Confirmations and Warnings preference page.
I have checked the environment variables and I have them as follows:
CLASSPATH: ; C:\tomcat7\lib\servlet-api.jar;C:\tomcat7\lib\jsp-api.jar;C:\tomcat7\lib\el- api.jar;C:\tomcat7\Servlets+JSP;%CLASSPATH%;
JAVA_HOME: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_51\bin
PATH: C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\bin;;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Web Platform Installer\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft ASP.NET\ASP.NET Web Pages\v1.0\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Windows Performance Toolkit\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files (x86)\PharosSystems\Core;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_51\bin\
I have also, started the eclipse.ini with the command -clean
and deleted .\metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.e4.workbench\workbench.xmi
while I restarted my machine after each attempt.
I even downloaded a fresh version of Eclipse from a different mirror.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Create Environment Variable as below!
Go to : right click on My Computer-> Properties-> Advance Settings -> Environmental Variables->
PATH -
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_02\bin -
- -
if problem doen't solve ..Try to re-install the jdk and then u will see no problem there is in opening eclipse.
i just found the answer for this question
what i needed to do is to make sure that eclipse identifies the JAVA_HOME
by adding the following command at the beginning of the eclipse.ini file in the Eclipse folder:
-vm
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_55\bin
make sure that they are on two separate lines.

Eclipse: Compare with -> Unhandled loop exception

I downloaded the Last Eclipse Helios Version and set it up to use it with GIT.
I also downloaded and installed the last JAVA JRE8.
Everytime i want to compare a file with the GIT-Index (Right click on the file - Compare with - Git index) I get an eclipse exception and an 'Editor' pops up, with no content.
Is there something wrong with my installed Java or Eclipse?
I also cannot update eclipse using 'Help - Check for updates'...
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

This looks like Eclipse bug 324051 which was closed fixed 4 years ago. It looks like it needs a newer version of Eclipse than Helios.

The log output "!MESSAGE Product com.test.test.test.product could not be found." could be the result of a missing bundle.
Make sure that the list of required plug-ins and fragments is complete. You can open that list by double clicking the "product" file of the eclipse plugin and then navigating to the tab "Dependencies". There's a simple button "Add Required Plug-Ins" that can be used to add all needed plug-ins automatically.
