I'm looking for service like http://translations.launchpad.net for localization my app into different languages (based on the gettext) with a team work support.
Thanks in advance.
Here are a few
Transifex is used for the Fedora project
Damned lies is for GNOME
Pootle is for OpenOffice.org
(Vertimus was for gnomefr, but has been merged into/superseded by Damned lies)
Here is a new one - http://lokali.se, supports various file formats, collaborators, placeholder validation and other stuff.

I am developing an Eclipse RCP application, which contains 600~ strings, translated to a couple of languages by myself.
The point is that I have to deliver it to the translation team to translate it to several languages in a couple of months, and I haven't found any translation tool for eclipse, which would help the translation team in its job. Is there any application which analyzes the file structure loading the messages.properties and bundles.properties files, and providing a UI to translate it safely.
If not, which would be the best way to perform this task?
Thanks.
Assuming you have used the NLS tools in Eclipse, you should already have the properties files containing the translated strings.
Eclipse projects are translated through an instance of the Babel server.
This is in itself an Eclipse hosted project.
The Babel server environment is a typical LAMP environment. You could try setting it up for your translators by following the instructions.
If this seems to be a lot of work for only 600 strings, it's because it is.
It is easier to use a hosted service like Amanuens or Transifex to cooperate with your translators.
Globalyzer (http://lingoport.com/globalyzer) can run as an eclipse plugin (or as a stand-alone workbench) and supports extensive internationalization activities across teams of developers and a wide variety of programming languages.
I was asked about this, someone mentioned me about Webratio, is there any othe tool or framework comparable to this, preferable oss?
Thanks.
I don't think so. WebML was created by the same people that founded WebRatio. Even if now they are trying to push it as a standard OMG web modeling language I don't think right now there are other tools that support it.
Jordi, you are right. As far as I know there are no other industrial implementations of WebML.
WebRatio is not opensource, but it can be downloaded for free for non commercial purposes.
Furthermore, along the line of standardizing the WebML language within OMG (under the name of IFML), we plan to release an opensource modeling tool.
OOH4RIA is a valid option, although experimental, but is not covering the WebML notation. It's instead based on an extension of the OOH notation for rich interfaces.
[Disclaimer: I'm with Politecnico di Milano and WebRatio, and among the inventors of WebML/IFML]
I think Ooh4RIA could be an option.
We are looking for a suitable solution to translate our GWT application collaboratively. We have a bunch of constants and messages property files that need to be translated by different people. Till now we've emailed the files and manually merged the translated content back which obviously doesn't scale very well.
Is there any tool (preferably an open source project) you can recommend that does play well with the i18n support of GWT and allow for collaboratively translation?
There is a Google Language API for GWT
I hope this doesn't sound like spam, but we built Amanuens, which is a web-based tool designed exactly to solve the problems you're having.
I'm not into GWT, but I assume that you have .properties files. If so, then our solution should work fine (although it's not open source).
It doesn't look like there is a GWT optimized solution for supporting the translation process of .properties files.
We are currently evaluating Pootle. It is easy to use (especially for non-techies), supports the translation process in many ways, supports user management, is open source and lets you import and export property files easily (which is important for integrating with GWT).
I'm looking for some static library or open source project (in obj-c, released under some permissive license) to parse CSS in iPhone. Any recommendations?
OK, I found good library for parsing CSS - libCSS from the NetSurf web browser project. Released under MIT license, can be used without problems for commercial iPhone applications distributed via the AppStore.
It requires some code for the programmer to write (e.g. you need to provide your own DOM hierarchy handlers), and there are no examples available... but people from the NetSurf dev mailing lists are very helpful. In case of problems you can search the list for my questions.

I would recommend htmlcxx. It's pretty actively maintained, written in C++ and you can use it to parse HTML and CSS.
Of course, since it's written in C++, you can use it in your iPhone application with no problems at all.
I've taken this project and made it easy to add to your iOS or OSX projects. Clone my github project and add the html (and or css) folder to your project. There is an Xcode project too - so you can build and run the simple test provided by the original authors
One of my clients asked me to integrate an open source CMS in her website. The challenge I have right now is that she wants the website to be bilingual. is there any cms that implements this feature? The content on each page should be displayed either in english or french and no automation translation(like google's or babel fish). only static content should be held in language configuration files.
Thanks for any help or idea.
N2CMS can do that. It supports multi-sites on one installation, multi-language, templating, MVC. And it is a very developer-friendly, developed in C#.

Drupal, besides being considered the best php-based open source CMS, has multilingual support
"Internationalization: Build Multilingual Sites"
http://drupal.org/node/133977
Umbraco does this, is FOSS and based on .NET.
http://umbraco.org/
go for joomla it support multi lingual , use joom fish component
According to one of its FAQ's, Plone, running the LinguaPlone add-on can do this, if I understand your question correctly.
MODXCMS.com does enable you to use lots of different languages on the same site!
They call it YAMS - Yet Another Multilingual Solution ---
about YAMS on the MODX Forums
I say go with MODx CMS coupled with YAMS. Choose the Evolution release, not the Revolution. I just installed the YAMS and it's working like a charm.
The learning curve maybe a bit steep but it's worth every hour I spent learning it.
Are you looking for a translation memory/CMS or a CMS that integrates with a TM?
How many languages are you looking to support?
Any of the complicated ones? (HAT, for example)
