recognizing a link in an email - iphone

Is there a mechanism where I can identify a string in an email, say a order number, and have it route to my iPhone application? I know that base types do this, but not sure if I can create a new type for my app.
Thanks!

You can add a custom URL type through your app (say orderNum://)
Then, if you include a link in the email, say orderNum://1234567890
if the user clicks it, it will open your app, and you will be able to get the data it sent you.
See the LaunchMe example: https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/samplecode/LaunchMe/Introduction/Intro.html

How to set AppClip invocation for URL with QueryParam?

I am trying to set the AppClip invocation for my App which is already released on app store.
I need an url such that it provides me a jobId e.g.: https://example.com/task?jobId=00001.
My use case is that I send the sms with the url https://example.com/task?jobId=00001 to the user, the user clicks on the url and the app gets started. Then for the other user I send the next url with corresponding jobId.
I did setup the AASA file for my domain (contains the JSON with "applinks" and "appclip" objects) which is valid, also the Domain status is valid on App Store Connect. There is a default experience set with title, subtitle, image and action. I also configured an advance experience for the url https://example.com/task.
However, my app clip doesn't get invoked if I access the url from either sms text or safari. :(
I do not have a web page for https://example.com/task therefore I haven't set up the meta data for this.
Is it possible to invoke the AppClip this way? It is really important for me that the URL is dynamic and I pass that jobId every time for each individual booking.
There s no much documentation and I already read at least twice Apple documentation about AppClip.
Because of this:
I do not have a web page for https://example.com/task therefore I haven't set up the meta data for this.
The answer to this:
Is it possible to invoke the AppClip this way?
Is no. Sorry, you need to own the domain you're working with, or at the very least have means to access its CNAME config (thus, be able to induce the owner of that domain to change the CNAME configs to what you want it to be, similar to what branch.io and AppsFlyer does with its users/clients).

Scheme url to open ios aplication with parameters

I have an application in Swift which has the function of "I forgot my password", which sends a URL in the user's email, in that URL contains user and token
Example:
https://example.com/forgotPassword#/user/token
Clicking the "https://example.com/forgotPassword#/user/token" link requires the application to open when the link is clicked by passing the parameters after the # (user / token) as follows in the example.
I need to click on the link and open the application.
I tried to modify the info p list in xcode but it generates a link example: application: //, me limiting to send it by email for example, could anyone help me please? If you have not understood, I can explain it better, thank you in advance
The problem is that you are using the word "scheme" in your question title but your example doesn't use a scheme. Well, it does use a scheme, but the scheme is https, which is a link. You need your app to define and declare its own scheme.

Using same id (not active one)

I've got an issue with a button.
I've got clients, and these all have a number ( Clients:: ClientID). Now I want to make a button in another form and send the active clientID to another application which will use this clientID to display information in that application about that client.
Now I've made a button with the open URL which contains following code snippet:
"http://localhost:12345/showClientFile?clientid=" & Clients::ClientID
When I click the button in viewlayout, the application always (no matter which record I'm in) the same clientID and not the clientID from the record that I'm in. When I check the URL in the browser, it is also that same id constantly. Am I missing something?
If you're on a layout that isn't linked to the Clients table occurrence, then there must be a relationship from whichever TO your layout is linked to to the Clients table. Otherwise you wouldn't see any value for Clients::ClientID.
You say you want to send the "active clientID". How do you, or the system, know what the active clientID is? Is it stored in a global variable, as in $$_ACTIVE_CLIENT_ID, or perhaps a global field, Clients::g_active_client_id? When you can say to yourself, "When I want to know what the active client ID is, I look here," then you know what will need to be done to edit the URL calculation.
"http://localhost:12345/showClientFile?clientid=" & $$_ACTIVE_CLIENT_ID

FB Chatbot how to get the previous message

Is it possible to receive the previous message that the user have send to the chatbot (without using quick replies or postback buttons). Example:
User: "Can you call a friend?"
Bot: "Who should I call?"
User: "Tim"
In the API I now have just the information "Tim", without knowing if I should call him or text him or make him a sandwich or whatever. So I basically I want to add some Postbackdata or metadata additionally to the text "Can you call a friend" (intent: 'CALL'), so the message "Tim" will come with that data.
Is there a way without storing the data into a database? AWS Lambda with ClaudiaJs.
I found the metadata field in the FB API which turns out to be the wrong field for that since it is only for communicating between several apps?!
What you are looking for a called a "slot-based bot", or slot-filling, basically meaning that you have a "slot", or blank that needs to be filled in before your bot can perform an action. In your example you have two slots: action and person
Actions could be: call, text, message
Person: name of a person, friend, etc.
I don't think any of the message frameworks (Slack, Facebook, etc) will provide you with the information you need. You will need to build this logic out yourself.
You can look at using wit.ai stories to achieve this.
Look to this similar Stack Overflow question and answer.
You can reverse order of conversation, and at beginning user writes some text or send you something else. After receiving, you should send to user buttonsTemplate, where postbacks will be like "CallTo&Tim" where instead of Tim you can put every text you need to pass to next executor(and you also can store previous user message here). Than just make substring of postback, check it`s type and do whatever you want.

Opening an email client on clicking a button

I am designing an app in which i need open an email client on clicking a button. The email client should be opened with pre defined subject,'to' address and from address of the user. Is there a way to attain this??? Plz provide me the solution and code if possible...
If you want to open the existing BlackBerry messages application use the Invoke class with the appropriate MessageArguments e.g.
Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.APP_TYPE_MESSAGES, new MessageArguments(MessageArguments.ARG_NEW, <to address>, <subject>, <body>);
I don't know of a way to change the from address.
