I have implemented one photo application in which i want to implement zoom and pinch zoom effect same as default photo application in iphone. How it possible please help me for this query.thanks in advance.

The UIScrollView component takes care of functionality like that.
Try starting out here :UIScrollView Reference
The ScrollViewSuite (link in the reference) has a example that you can use.

UIScrollView Pinch ZoomIn/out at certain location

I want to make application like Solar Wether application. Please see this video.
I don't want code but want to know how can we achieve functionality like zoom in/out in this application.
Please suggest me how to do this. I had made some code and done some R&D work and found this solution but want to do exact animation like this app.
You can subclass UIScrollView and use all the touch events like touchesended, touchesbegan, touchesmoved.
If you want a specific location of that touch you can get the point where the touch happens and call your custom action.

Photo viewer (with zoom, pan, scale etc)? Alternative to Three20

I have an app with a few pictures. If the user clicks on one of them, I want him to be able to zoom, pan, scale and so on. I don't need something like Three20. First of all, I'm loading the images from file inside the app, second I don't need the "library" feature (that displays all the images in a grid > like the Photos.app). So I only need the part in the left picture...
How can I do that? Is there any "sample class" or tutorial?
Thanks a lot in advance!
The UIScrollView supports not only scrolling, but also zooming in and out, in fact, it's the super class of things like webViews and tableViews.
It's a matter of fitting an UIImageView inside an UIScrollView and make the contentSize match, and enable zooming (maximum/minimum zooming is 1.0 by default, setting it to something else allows zooming).
check out the Nibmus Project, they have a nice photos controller http://jverkoey.github.com/nimbus/group___nimbus_photos.html, which sounds to be exactly what you're looking for.

Image with gestures - phonegap

I'm making an application who needs to display a map, contained in a large image file (png). The user must be able to zoom in/out the image and drag it in order to scroll the image with touch gestures.
I'm not sure that you get it, but i want to display a single image as it would be displayed by the "Photos" iphone application.
I would like some hints about the best way to do it with those gesture and with a navigation header in order to leave the image view.
Thanks in advance if you can give me any help about this issue because I did not find any clue on the phonegap doc.

Why don't you use the built inn components for this?
Sounds like you need to wrap an ImageView inside a ScrollView and a HorizontalScrollView, then rescale the image by handling onTouch-events.
Take a look at the MapKitPlug plugin:
https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap-plugins/tree/master/iPhone/MapKitPlug
Good Luck!
I would use http://cubiq.org/iscroll-4 which has some really slick image zoom going on. You can also start loading new images after certain zoom levels for finer grains of quality.
I would suggest Child Browser phonegap plugIn.
It is very simple and easy to implement.
It supports loading page from a url as well as you can show any kind of images.(png, jpg, jpeg, bmp and gif)

Image multiple tap zooming

Can anyone please suggest me a good sample code for multiple tap zooming image. Thanks.
Apple's ScrollViewSuite sample contains example of zooming on response to taps (it seems it was updated to use UIGestureRecognizer to handle touches so if you're targeting iOS 3.x you'll need to find the older version of that sample).

Modify photo selected by UIImagePicker before it's used in the move-and-scale screen

as you probably know, the UIImagePickerController in the UIKit Framework allows the user to take a photo which is then handed over to my App for further processing.
If the property allowsEditing is set to YES, the user is allowed to move and scale the photo after taking it.
What I'd like to accomplish is to modify the photo in my code BEFORE the user is presented with the move and scale screen. This is because I'd like to add some visual effects to the photo and the user should be able to move and scale with these effects already applied to the photo.
I know that there's the cameraOverlayView property, but this is not useful in my case as far as I'm concerned.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Thomas
Not so easy way is to implement move and scale functionality on your own.
make showsCameraControls NO. You can design your own preview screen (with modified Image).
Looks like there are issues with touches in IOS5 cameraOverlayView. Make sure the above solution works for IOS5 also :).
