I was wondering by using Sencha or JQuery Mobile, is it possible
Is it possible to deploy them as single click install app in Android Market?
Is it possible to deploy them as single click install app in IPhone App Store? Does Apple place any restriction on non-native app deploy through IPhone App Store?
How can I package my HTML, JS and CSS files as one click executable file? That's is, by single click on the icon on mobile "desktop", browser will launch a default HTML file?
Yes, yes, yes. PhoneGap and Appcelerator Titanium are two frameworks that enable all three.
Sencha touch will be the best option for application because its has the support for phone gap to build your application for other mobile platforms and it has large community that help when are stack and its famework is well documented

I have some flash files and i need to integrate those files in iPad app. i searched lot but everyone's answer is
- iOS will not support flash.
- even if you integrate flash files app store will not accept.
But my app is not for app store this is an enterprise app. Instead of integrating flash files we can do all the animation in our objective-c itself. But client is demanding to integrate flash files in iPad app. Is there any alternate solution. Please guide me.
Sure you can run Flash apps on iOS, you just have to build them using AIR:
Adobe AIR is a cross-platform runtime that enables you to use your
existing Flash/ActionScript or HTML/JavaScript development skills and
tools to build and deploy applications, games, and videos outside the
browser and on mobile devices.
Here is the specific resources page on how to build Flash ActionScript 3 apps targeting any iOS device.
The beauty of AIR is that if the code of your app is well organized, you can reuse most of it for any build being it for Android, iOS, Blackberry, or even a desktop app (windows and macosx) or the web.
Hybrid way:
Flash to html5 conversion then open HTML document using webview
Google swiffy:
Swf to HTML 5
Note:
maximum of 1 mb only be converted at present

Adobe wallaby:
Fla to HTML 5
Note:
At present cs5 only supported.the lower versions have to be resaved in cs5 to convert.

Native way:
Adobe air:
One could run actioscript flash content directly in ios devices.
Note:
At present you could make stand alone ios apps only you can't integrate with existing app.

It is a detour only, but you could install the Photon browser and call it from your app.
The apps provide the same functionality, but have different code bases.
Is this possible?
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "bundle" in this instance. PhoneGap provides the ability to deploy your app to numerous platforms (iOS, Android, Windows Phone) by writing in just HTML5, CSS, and Javascript. Your question states that you have a functioning HTML5 version of the app written for the PhoneGap platform. If this is the case, what is the need for the Objective-C iPhone app? Simply maintaining the HTML5 app should be sufficient to deploy to both iPad and iPhone. PhoneGap currently supports iOS, iPad, and retina displays.
From the PhoneGap documentation, you can specify differences in your interface using config.xml.
You can mix phonegap and native code fairly easily - just have the startup code check the platform type and display either the native view or the phonegap webview.
However, whatever you do at this point will result in some inconvenience to users - the only way to share in app purchases across devices is to have a single universal app. If you want to keep existing purchases, you have to add an ipad view to the existing iphone app, but that will not show up as an update for anyone who has the existing iPad app.
There are other possibilities such as setting up a server to track purchases in both apps, but that gets a lot more complicated than standard in app purchase and only works if your app includes a login system.
I have built a Jquerymobile webapp , I want to take it a step further, build additional features and deploy it as an iphone app. I am confused on connecting these two dots. I looked at Phonegap and Titanium. Phonegap does not allows to register yet and Titanium seems like I have to code everything again using Titanium apps . Any ideas on how to bridge the gap of connecting iphone app and jquerymobile.
I use phonegap for my iPhone apps and it works well. Phonegap Build will even encode the iPhone (and Android, Blackberry, etc) app for you so you don't have to use Xcode.

Can you just take your already written JS code and use it as your source for a UIWebView? Those middle-ware platforms you mentioned have their own JS libraries you need to use, but if the code you already made will work as-is on an iPhone, dumping it into a UIWebView should be all you need to do.
Can we build an iphone app and convert the application to the android application using phonegap framework?
I have been through various links.
We basically need to develop a webapp for that and that can be converted to an android app or an iphone app respectively.
I am an iphone application developer and i am not at all familiar to android.
Links or example code would be greatly appreciated.
PhoneGap will not enable you to "port" an existing iphone application to Android. However, if you develop an application within the PhoneGap framework (which means using html, css and javascript), you will be able to deploy it on multiple mobile platforms such as iPhone, Android, Nokia, Blackberry, etc.
The downside is that you will eventually be developing a packaged mobile website - your application consist of html pages, css styling and javascript behaviour/logic, combined whith access to phone internals such as gps, disk, database, camera, etc. It will usually not "feel" fully native on most platforms. For example, you will not be using the system's "native" ListView.
There are javascript libraries such as JQuery-mobile, JQTouch, etc, that make your application look nicer on mobile devices, but it's still not as good as the native experience.
The app you build will not be a native Android or IPhone app but a HTML Web App wrapped in the PhoneGap wrapper and packaged into a native app. So yes you can build for both platforms as long as you build a Web App
Edit -(a Web App is just a plain html/css/javascript + server-side(php, asp etc) website)
I am planning to make an iPhone web application and I just wanted to know what is required for web development?
Can I do the web development on a windows machine? Does Apple provide any iPhone plugin so that we can develop web application using Windows?
What is required for developing on a Mac?
Regards,
Amit
If you are making a web application, you can download Safari for Windows and view it there.
You can also use Joe Hewitt's iUI framework to make your app look and feel all iPhone-y.
? If you are gonna build a web application, the application runs on the browser. To use your application the user use Safari (on the iPhone). Apple doesn't control web applications.
If you mean, embed your web application, INSIDE a native iPhone application, you need a Mac to build the wrapper, for the core application you can use whatever system you want.
May I suggest to take a look at phonegap (if you are looking to iPhone app).
Check out these three apple sites:

http://developer.apple.com/safari/
http://developer.apple.com/safari/library/navigation/CodingHow-Tos.html
I would check out these pages thoroughly, and also at a minimum, I'd download safari for mac or windows.
Yes, you can develop it on windows. They are just web apps.
For mac or windows, latest safari and a public website is probably all you need. Check out google app engine for a good free development site that supports a database/datastore. www.appspot.com
Also, you can look at the webapps on a regular computer. http://www.apple.com/webapps/travel/staycation.html

I presume you are talking about creating a web application designed to be used from an iphone.
The iphone uses safari as its browser. You can download this for use on windows and it should give you an accurate representation of how your app will look when rendered on an iphone. However in order to test how well your app performs on the phone, and if it really is usable using the touch screen the I think the only way to be really sure is to test using the iPhone.
You can use safari for windows to test the rendering but for your final tests you need to use a real iphone in order to understand how your users will experience it.
