CodeMirror code completion analyzing cursor location - autocomplete

I want to integrate code completion feature to CodeMirror based xml editor. It basically parses the schema of the xml file and provide code completion according to schema and its structure. But there is something i could not manage to do. For example, when the cursor is moved to a location which is inside and xml tag, code completion must behave accordingly. It should aware of that the cursor is inside the tag, etc. How can i do that?
I think XML parser of the code mirror may give a clue about semantic position of the cursor location with some alteration. Is that possible?
Or is there any generic way to analyze cursor location and behave accordingly?

If you use CodeMirror 2, there's a getTokenAt method that allows you to analyse the parser state at a given position. You can see this being used to autocomplete local JavaScript variables in http://codemirror.net/2/demo/complete.html . For the XML parser, you can inspect the context property of the state, which is a linked list of objects, each containing a tagName property and a prev property linking to the context above it.

How to access Method Names from source object in Rule Definition

In our implementation of the Rules Engine we have a test form similar to Rule Test Form on the online demo on "Business Rules Engine Demo". What we would like to do is conditionally show only the Test Fields for the items in use in the rule. We are doing this by grabbing the rule.definition JSON from the ruleeditor then look for the items which we can conditionally create using AngularJS's ng-if directive. This works great with Fields. If the user selects a method, our method of parsing the string is failing. What it appears is the Field Names are stored in the JSON as plain text however the Method Names are not. Is there a way we can configure the control to either A not encrypt the method names or is there a way that we can tap into the encryption to identify if a method is in use in our rule? Thanks in advance.
Methods and actions can have overloads which the Code Effects rule editor supports. Therefore, we can't have multiple menu entries with the same name. Instead, we use a signature hash on all in-rule methods and rule actions regardless of whether it has an overload or not to make them unique on the client.
You need to have either the Full Source or the Editor Source license in order to change the code to either stop that hashing, or tap into the process, or implement it your own way. You don't have that option with any other Code Effects perpetual license.

Sorting methods (by number of arguments) using JetBrains Rider File Layout

I'm using Unity/C# and I try to setup Rider File Layout XML to format code in specific way.
What I want - is to put methods with certain names (e.g. Awake(), Start(), Update() etc.) in front of other methods.
The important part is that I want to move only methods without arguments.
Sorting by name partially works, but it also changes order of methods with parameters (e.g. Update(float dt)).
Is there any way to filter methods with and without parameters using File Layout?
I'm afraid that's not possible, probably you have to write your own R# plugin for this

VSCode ANTLR4 Plugin: Export Call Graph to JSON?

The vscode-antlr4 plugin for VisualStudio Code has a nice call-graph feature which visualizes (as a dendrogram) how grammar (and lexer) rules interact. You can save the graphic as SVG.
Is there a way to export the information as JSON? I wouldn't mind going into the plugin's code to find a way to do it.
My aim is to create reachability graphs for individual rules, i.e. graphs that show from which other rules a particular rule can be reached (transitively). The "calls" and "is-called" information from the call-graph feature would be a nice starting point.
The data for the call graph comes from a source context instance (for each grammar file there's a single source context to manage all details for it). See the function getReferenceGraph, which collects the relations into a map object. You can use that object to generate a JSON object from it. Or you create another function, taking this one as template, to generate the JSON directly, without the overhead required for the UI.

Node.CloneNode() not a function -dom-to-image.js

I want to create a .png file of a HTML page in angularjs and download it. For this I'm currently using dom-to-image.js and using the domToImage.toBlob function and passing the node element to it. But internally when it goes to dom-to-image.js it throws the error:
node.cloneNode() is not a function
Can anyone please assist me here?

This error arises when you attempt to call cloneNode() on anything other than a single DOM node.
In this case, the error is coming from the dom-to-image library, which calls that method internally.
Note that without a code snippet, its hard to identify the precise issue with your code, but the point is, when you call domtoimage.toBlob(), you need to supply a single DOM node.
So double check what you are calling it with. If you are selecting by class, for instance, you could end up with more than one element.
Its best practice to be precise with which node you want to convert to a blob - use the id attribute, like this:
domtoimage.toBlob(document.getElementById('element')).then(...)
where element is the id of your target node.
Its also possible you're selecting with angular.element() or even using jQuery directly.
In both cases, this returns an Object -- which you can't call cloneNode() on.
Also note the following from the Angular docs for angular.element():
Note: All element references in AngularJS are always wrapped with jQuery or jqLite (such as the element argument in a directive's compile / link function). They are never raw DOM references.
Which means you would observe the same behavior in both cases, e.g. both of these:
domtoimage.toBlob($('#element')).then(...)
domtoimage.toBlob(angular.element('#element')).then(...)
would result in the error you see. You can index the Object before supplying it to domtoimage.toBlob(), perhaps like this:
domtoimage.toBlob($('#element')[0]).then(...)
domtoimage.toBlob(angular.element('#element')[0]).then(...)
and that would also work.

I have used DomListner extension in chrome to understand the dom events.
I found for each interaction there are hundreds of DOM events fired.
For example one click on calculator button results in 114 events.
It this a performance issue ?
Does binding.scala library need performance improvements ?
Does the code written using binding.scala need optimization ?
It's the expected behavior, because the DEMO that you mentioned recreated anchor elements, explicitly.
According to the Scaladoc for bind method:
Each time the value changes, in the current #dom method, all code after the current bind expression will be re-evaluated
As a result, the calc.bind call at here forces recreating the anchor element.
I created a pull request to change the class attribute instead, by avoiding the calc.bind call before XHTML literals.
