Beginner, trying to learn to MS Web Matrix.
href, style, header, footer, tags don't seem to work.
Even copied and pasted coding from Web Dev 101 part 3 instructions on the "Learn About Web Matrix" site to be sure syntax was correct.
Is there some source for answers about Web Matrix programing problems.
Certainly no way to get anything through Micro Soft.
Every time I download the latest version of Web Matrix something gets fixed, but I'm weary of trying things that just don't work as shown in "Learning" documentation.
Is there some source for questions that a novice could direct such basic questions to, I'd sure like to know.

You can post questions here, or at the WebMatrix forum at www.asp.net.
When you do, make sure you are specific. Explain what your problem is exactly and post details of any error message you might get, and relevant source code.

I have found other answers to this question on this site, but they seem to be either outdated or not especially descriptive. I am rather unexperienced in website access using swift so code would be greatly appreciated.
If I already have the username and password, how do I log into a website, for example this one, using swift code.

The way I am trying to solve this issue is by creating a new View Controller and adding a Web View on to it with access to the website. There's a post here Get HTML from WKWebview in Swift that could help as you are using Swift, but without any detailing of your code this issue can't be solved completely. My solution is a bit unorthodox and frankly "bad coding", but it should in theory function well and I have seen other responses which do it similarly. Also, I would revise your question and try to make it more formal/informative so everyone could have a better chance at helping you out.

The easiest way to do this as mentioned by one of your comments would be to see if the Website you are using has an API. I used a course on Udemy which explained their functionalities if you need one. I would recommend looking at the Cocoa Pod Alamofire and seeing if it could help you (perhaps in conjunction with SwiftyJSON).
Side note:
The reason why I am not using Alamofire for my project (one similar to yours) is because I could not find an accessible API.
Im in need for good candlestick chart for my web app and chart at http://bitcoinwisdom.com/ is really what Im looking for. I like the way you can zoom and move with it. Is it possible to figure out what they are using or do you think they made it up on their own? If so with what tools? Another amazing charting can be found here https://www.tradingview.com/e/ these two sites have even better charting than some desktop apps and I wanna know how they did it.
In searching the bitcoinwisdom's forums I found a couple posts asking for the exact same thing. In fact, I stumbled upon your SO post here looking for the same thing.
According to those forum posts' responses they used d3js.org with the rest being custom code. Unfortunately for us as their implementation is very impressive! View source on the page and look for the JS files they are referencing. The code is obfuscated and minified so porting it will be very difficult.
Can someone supply an example or a link to an example that signs an existing pdf using itextsharp 5.4.4? Ideally keeping pdf/a conformity of the pdf? Thank you.
Edit: I understand the question looks as if I did not use google etc. BUT, new versions of itextsharp contain completely rewritten code for signing as well as other functions, making the existing examples non-functional. Also, itextsharp started using different names for methods eg. instead of createSignature one has CreateSignature, instead of getSignatureAppearance one seems to have SignatureAppearance etc. making the port from java examples a real nightmare. Also the samples in the source code itself are in java not c#. There is really nowhere else I can go.

As a side project I tutor grandparents and other computer novices in Computer & Internet 101, from physically using a mouse to dealing with e-mail/searching/etc. Web development isn't really my area of focus - I do have reasonable HTML/CSS/Javascript etc skills, so I can throw together a decent-looking simple, static site - but occasionally I get asked to put together extremely simple websites for these people, that they can update themselves; that is, edit text-based content without giving Grandpa a heart attack by making him come face-to-face with HTML/Javascript.
I've waded through a mile-long list of CMS software - largely culled from the many other similar questions on SO - but they've all got something ruling it out: hosted, restricts the design (can't use w/existing CSS, looks "Word-press-y", etc), not free/FOSS, etc. I wonder if "CMS" is even the right word for what I'm looking for. What I need is a simple text editor for the client: that is, something that will give the client a text box of some variety, let them edit it, and update the content with that info. They can't mess with navigation, add new pages, change anything other than text. If it was really fancy, they could upload a picture.
I was planning to do this just with a couple of password-protected php forms, but thought I'd ask if there's anything already out there that might provide this functionality? Any suggestions on building my own version of this, in PHP or something else?
What I'm really interested in is:
1) the simplicity/customize-ability of the admin interface (or lack of admin interface, if the client could somehow edit directly in the page), and
2) ease of set up for me (not getting paid much if at all for this, don't want to wade through three million plugin options to figure out how to get some unwieldy, high learning-curve framework to do what I want).

This means that she just builds her articles as if she is using a word processor (almost exactly the same) and then just uploads the article to her blog. I use Blogengine.net to host the blog on a Godaddy hosting solution.
Blogengine comes with built in support for LiveWriter and only required that you input the address, username and password in.

You could give the users the instruction to upload text files to the site, and the have the HTLM/PHP/ASP pages load the context of such .ts files.
Each web page should have a specific named .txt file associated.

What does $PP_OFF mean?
It's a bit of defunct wiki markup. The Google Code wiki treats {{{...}}} blocks as code and attempts to pretty-print them, which doesn't always work well; $PP_OFF is, or was, an undocumented feature that's supposed to stop that happening. See http://groups.google.com/group/gwt-google-apis/msg/04ae50fdd4339294 for the only mention of this that I can find online.
You should completely ignore it wherever you see it.
