Using SQLite database for Quiz game - iphone

For a Quiz game I would like to store the questions in a database containing 7 columns for the Primary key, Question, 4 answers, and the correct answer then run a random method that would pick on of the questions and populate several text fields with the data.
I would then store the value for the "correct answer" column in a variable for a if statement called later on when the user selects an answer.
I have attempted so many tutorials involving SQLite databases that I am very unclear how to do the following:
Connect my xcode project to the database (a read-only database stored in the resources folder)
Load the database into an object (or load each row at run time at each question to save memory?)
Make a method that randomly selects a row, then populates text fields with the data and stores the correct answer column into a variable.
I have been banging my head on my desk for several weeks now, so ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks guys!

Loop through database ANYLOGIC

In my model I want to loop through the database which contains multiple columns (see example) by an event. The idea behind it is that I want to create dynamic events based on the rows in the database.
But I've no clue how to iterate through a database in anylogic and also was not able to find an example of a loop with a database.
The dummycode of my problem would look something like this:
For order in orderdatabase:
Create order based on (order.name, order.quantity, order.arrivaltime, order.deliverylocation)
Where order in the loop is every row of the database, and the value on which the creation is based based on the different column values of that specific row.
Can somebody give me a simple example of how to create such a loop for this specific problem.
Thanks in advance.
Use the database query wizard:
put your cursor into a code field
this will allow you to open the database wizard
select what you need (in your case, you want the "iterate over returned rows and do something" option
Click ok
adjust the dummy code to make it do what you want
For details and examples, check the example models and the AnyLogic help, explaining all options in detail.

Updating table content using SQLite?

Friends, here is my problem: I populate a table in Xcode using SQLite database. Here is what I want - If my table has 20 rows and all of them are populated, how to update the table if new data is saved in my SQLite database? I want the new information to overwrite the old one. How to do that in Xcode, any ideas? Thanks in advance! I am not sure if the info that I provided is enough, so let me know if you want some code or other stuff.
The key to what you're doing is in the routine you furnish for your table: cellForRowAtIndexPath. Basically, you can write that routine to furnish whatever data you want it to furnish. Once you know that your data has been updated, you can cause the entire table to refresh with a call to reloadData.

How to display last 3 RECENTLY stored items in sqlite database - iPhone

In my app i am using Sqlite data base to store the data.
The stored items are displayed in a table (Main table).
Now i need to display RECENTLY added 3 items in another table (RecentTable).
I implemented recent table, but unable to display recently added data.
Please help..
Thanks in advance.
Have you thought about using an auto-incrementing column and then using that to get the three most recently added items? Something like:
select whatever
from mytable
order by auto_inc_column desc
limit 3

Inserting data properly in to sqlite database

I am developing an app that contains a view controller, where the user fills all the fields and when he clicks save, the data must get inserted in to the database.I am able to retrieve the primary key (id) for every reminder saved. But I am unable to insert data,as when I am trying to display it in console,it's displaying null. Please post the correct and relevant code of my requirement to save the data in to created table in database.
It's my humble request to post the code for performing an action in such a way that when I click save, the data must get inserted in to the table of database.I would be pretty glad If I can see the code for retrieval of data to display in the other controller(page) "View/Edit Reminder"...Please help me out.I tried all the ways,I have gone through 100's of solutions.

I have explain two method first is how to read from a table and second how to write inside the database.Just before calling any of these methods you have to call the method checkandCreateDatabase.

iPhone Dev - Trying to access every row of a sqlite3 table sequentially

this is my first time using SQL at all, so this might sound basic. I'm making an iPhone app that creates and uses a sqlite3 database (I'm using the libsqlite3.dylib database as well as importing "sqlite3.h"). I've been able to correctly created the database and a table in it, but now I need to know the best way to get stuff back from it.
How would I go about retrieving all the information in the table? It's very important that I be able to access each row in the order that it is in the table. What I want to do (if this helps) is get all the info from the various fields in a single row, put all that into one object, and then store the object in an array, and then do the same for the next row, and the next, etc. At the end, I should have an array with the same number of elements as I have rows in my sql table. Thank you.
My SQL is rusty, but I think you can use SELECT * FROM myTable and then iterate through the results. You can also use a LIMIT/OFFSET(1) structure if you do not want to retrieve all elements at one from your table (for example due to memory concerns).
(1) Note that this can perform unexpectedly bad, depending on your use case. Look here for more info...

That is not how SQL works. Rows are not kept in the table in a specific order as far as SQL is concerned. The order of rows returned by a query is determined by the ORDER BY clause in the query, e.g. ORDER BY DateCreated, or ORDER BY Price.
But SQLite has a rowid virtual column that can be used for this purpose. It reflects the sequence in which the rows were inserted. Except that it might change with a VACUUM. If you make it an INTEGER PRIMARY KEY it should stay constant.
