I have installed Eclipse SDK, which doesn't come with Eclipse Marketplace. Is it possible to download Eclipse Marketplace as a plugin?
From what it looks from their site, it seems as we can only get it when downloading specific versions of Eclipse.

As far as I know, the Classic distribution does not contain the Marketplace client (and that is the only such official distribution). However, it is available for download.
Select Help/Install new software... from the menu, select the Juno update site (http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno), and then look for the Marketplace client - it is in the General Purpose Tools category.

I cannot install SonarQube plugins in Eclipse Mars (tested with Java, RCP and Modeling versions).
When I search for SonarQube in 'Help' / 'Eclipse Marketplace' then the result list is empty. I can click at the link 'Browse for more solutions' which opens the marketplace site on the internet. There, I see SonarQube with the link 'Install' but when I click on it I get the error "The following solutions (SonarQube) are not compatible with this version of Eclipse"!
Any ideas how the problem can be solved?
Eclipse SonarQube plugin 3.4 is definitely compatible with Eclipse Mars.
Unfortunately, you cannot install it from the Eclipse Marketplace - probably because we need to update the compatibility information there. As mentionned by Freddy in his comment, SONARCLIPS-446 was created for this purpose.
Meanwhile, please follow the instructions described on "Install SonarQube in Eclipse" to manually install the plugin.
UPDATE July 21rst, 2015: the Marketplace has been updated so anybody using Mars can install the plugin through the Marketplace.
I'm sorry, but SonarQube is not really compatible.
If you install SonarQube 3.4.0 from marketplace to a brand new mars (eclipse-jee-mars-R-win32-x86_64.zip) and then start the eclispe with -clean, the menuitem marketplace is gone.
Seems that there are not some other plugins don't match.

Trying to import some code I wrote in intelliJ and I came across a problem on my main workstation, my Eclipse Juno has no option to create a new web project, however on my laptop Eclipse Juno in there has the option, which is odd because it's the same version of Eclipse, any thoughts on how I should be able to start a web project?
Edit Thanks Andre, yeah I have the wrong Eclipse but I have so much in my workspace it isn't viable to reinstall it, also getting it to work on Ubuntu was a bit of a pain; I was looking for a single repositry for the EE web tools, thanks.
Thanks to Andre for the answer, you can find the WTP plugin in the marketplace, unfortunately Juno does not have Marketplace as default therefore you must use Juno software repository URL in the install new software section of Eclipse to download and install the Marketplace
I downloaded the Eclipse Juno 4.2 classic bundle, and saw that Help > Marketplace... was not available. AFAIK, this is provided by the mpc plugin. On their website however, I didn't see a trace of how to install the mpc client for Juno.

There is one More easy way to add Eclipse MarketPlace
1. Go to http://eclipse.org/mpc/archive.php and download mpc zip for your eclipse.
2. Than go to Eclipse -> Help -> Install New Software and Add and select Archive file Location
then press ok, it will check dependency and install it.

If you use Eclipse Luna SR 1, the released Marketplace contains a bug; you have to install it from the Marketplace update site. This is fixed again in Luna SR 2.

With Eclipse 3.7 Indigo, I found the link at http://www.eclipse.org/mpc/
which told me the download location and plugin was

Which made the "Eclipse Marketplace Client" available in my Software updates after I added that address as a repository. Didn't seem to be in the core list on a fresh install.

I want an Eclipse Java EE plugin which I can install directly from Eclipse.
I searched about it on Google and found some ones but couldn't figure out how to download them directly from Eclipse.
One plugin I found was WTP but couldn't find the location of the WTP repository that I can enter in the Eclipse's Software Update tool.
I am using Eclipse 3.4.2 (Ganymede)
I warmly suggest to install Eclipse IDE for Java EE developers which already includes the Web Tools Platform (WTP) and much more (see this page for a full comparison).
As an alternative, you can download a zip of the Web Tools from here or install it via Update Manager using this URL:

If you have Eclipse Galileo you should go to Help > Install New Software. Then the list of available sites to install updates will appear. You should add the WTP plug-in to this list, for example.
To do this, click on Add and enter the name and location (you can get this from the WTP site). Then, select this plug-in and click on Finish. That's it and it's valid to all plug-ins.

Install the new software in your IDE, restart your IDE, right click under the project explorer view, select new, the option for creating a dynamic web project should now be available. I did it using the luna version of eclipse which dose not have the default and now have the option.
