i want to create a system that allow my site users talk talk to each other. simple like google talk.
i tried google talk but they just allow people to talk to their google firends and not to their friends on my website.
so what am i supposed to do. where should i start and what language do i need to use?
or in another way, how can i stream audio directly from the users microphone to the other user and at the same time stream the other users voice to the one in this side?
i looked in google and i couldnt found anything that can help me.
This plugin for ejabberd could be what you're looking for: a multi-user web interface to a Jabber chatroom.
Note that you'd need to set up your own Jabber server for this, but it's not extremely hard. (it's indeed "simple like google talk", except that Google Talk isn't too simple; note also that Google Talk is actually built on Jabber)

I am trying share my app's data in social networking sites.i am trying to implement sharekit but i encountered a lot of errors. Is there a way other than sharekit to share my app to social networking sites atleast to facebook and twitter?
If you want to target Twitter and Facebook it's also worth looking into the iOS Social Framework.
Note that Facebook is only supported as of iOS6, but this api is far simpler in use than the other solutions for user handling, posting, etc...
You can find a lot of good tutorials on this topic (ex. http://www.raywenderlich.com/21558/beginning-twitter-tutorial-updated-for-ios-6)

It would be nice to be able to share some code snippets / random stuff with colleagues (15 people).
I was thinking to set-up an office chat, and I wonder if you have any system to recommend.
I can use a dedicated server for that.
Is IRC the way to go? or are there different technologies?
Openfire server and Pidgin client lets you chat and send files.
IRC is probably a really cheap way of doing this. Pretty much any client can XDCC and send files to other users like, XChat, chatzilla, pidgin, weechat, mIRC, etc. There's also a free server software that you can setup, like lightIRC, Unreal, Pjirc, Bahamut, etc.
But I think what you really want is project collaboration software. There's a lot of options here, some cost money and some are hosted as a service.

Recently i've noticed many news sites creating new application on facebook for sharing articles.
something like mini-site of the website inside facebook platform.
I.e Washington post application.
I've tried to find the how-to-do on facebook developers center but couldn't.
You’re talking about Open Graph actions here. Apps can define objects, and actions that can be performed on them (although fo reading an article you now have to use the build-in types), and then publish these actions on a user’s behalf.
Please familiarize yourself with the concept, start reading here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/

Could I use Google Maps API to create a Facebook Application? If so, what is the most efficient method to go about doing this? If not Google Maps, how about Bing Maps API or Openstreetmaps?
On a technical level you should be able to use the javascript API. You can read up on it at http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial.html
However, check the API licensing carefully. If you intend to charge for your app, or depending on what you plan to track, you may have to purchase the business license which is $10k (no exceptions, whether profitable or not)
I did this long time back. I created an application which was embedded inside facebook and it used google maps API.
And I guess these things will always work because facebook and google provide service through set of APIs. And they are independent of each other

I need to know if it is possible to develop an application to read and reply to SMS and email. If so, how could this be done (what library/class needs to be used). I've searched all apps there isn't an app that does this. There's only an app that requires you to set your email and constantly checks for new message however SMS I'm not sure if there's an app that does this thereby I'm not sure if it could be done. Thanks,
Regards,
Heba
Without a jailbroken iPhone, no. You can't interact with the other native applications beyond what the APIs provide (i.e. accessing the photos and media library). Like the other e-mail application, you could fake the e-mail situation by requiring them to provide you their servers and credentials. However, you really can't access the SMS history nor respond to them.
