Facebook Iframe link only open within the iframe - facebook

I feel like people have been having the opposite of this problem, I cannot figure how to have links open up outside of fb and not with the iframe.. I am posting material that rests in an FB app hosted by my server. The page has links to other sites, but when they open up they are still in the facebook iframe.
using basic:
<a href= "http...."><b>Blank.com</b>
looks like this
Click link...
I'm a rookie and any help would be great. Thanks

target="_blank" works if you have set up an app for the iframe.

Have you tried the target attribute?

Facebook comments not showing in mobile

I have this website named 1FAKT and i have integrated Facebook comments on it. Strangely comments made in Facebook comments are visible in desktop template BUT are not showing in mobile template.
Example:
Post in desktop: Desktopo Link
Same post in mobile: Mobile Link
Mobile is default active in Facebook script. Then what's the problem?
I recently had a similar issue. For me, this was due to css flex-box properties that I had assigned to div containing facebook comments plugin. When I removed the styles for this div the plugin worked fine. You may also want to try assigning data-mobile="false" property to your comments div. See below for an example of code that worked for me.
<div style='text-align:center;'>
<div class="fb-comments" data-href="http://localhost:8000/es/comments" data-width="600" data-numposts="10" data-mobile:"false"></div>
</div>

Links in iFrame tabs won't work in Facebook application in Timeline

I had links that worked before timeline, and since we moved to timeline, they don't. We are using the Facebook iFrame for our content.
What is going on? When we click on the link, it seems like something is blocking the browser from changing the page.

Edit : I'm still investigating that problem; One thing I should mention is that only links that go to another Facebook App don't work. The ones that go to something else than Facebook (A blog, Twitter and Linkedin) work fine.

Is the target of the links the same frame? I find sometimes that facebook doesn't let you redirect to an iframe of facebook. E.g - Make sure you either set the link to target="_top" or make sure it is a full url of an app and not the app on facebook. Otherwise you're basically loading an iframe of facebook, with an iframe of your app within the existing iframe
Yup, putting a target="_top" on my links worked. Thanks!

Facebook like box won't work with Facebook connect

I have both like box and connect on the same page and I am trying to get the html5 or xfbml code of the like box to work with Facebook connect but it won't. Only the iframe code will work but the thing is I can't customize anything in iframe. Any advice?
Have you got:
xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml"
In your html open tag at the top of you page?

How to add google docs forms to facebook fan page?

I'd like to place my google docs form(for newsletter sign-up) on my facebook page.
using this tutorial I was able to create an app, but no content showed http://www.hyperarts.com/blog/adding-iframe-application-to-facebook-fan-page/
So I wanted to know if there was another way of doing this, or anyway of doing this at all.
I had the same issue with using the iframe that google docs give you and using the url for the application tab on Facebook. The resulting facebook page is blank.
What I did to resolve this is whip up a simple html file that does the embedding from google and placed it on my (ssl encrypted) server. Then I used the url to that file as the application tab URL in my facebook app. Viola it worked.
Is Facebook not allowing embeds from docs.google.com? There's a simple workaround.
Here's the code from my html file on my server with the formkey mangled to protect privacy.
<html>
<body>
<iframe src="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/embeddedform?formkey=dGhOU" width="500" height="780" frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0">Loading...</iframe>
</body>
</html>
There's a php class that i've been using. It provides functionality to capture form elements into a google doc.
That's a possibility but requires a larger learning curve if you're not familiar with PHP:

how to use facebook comments plugin into facebook page

We have a Face book page.We add a custom FBML tab.Now we want to add Comment Face book plugin.I tried to add an script what i got from Face book Social Plug in.The code is
<div id="fb-root"></div><script
<src="http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#appId=178089302222317&amp;xfbml=1"></script><fb:comments numposts="10" width="425"
publish_feed="true"></fb:comments>
After that i put this script to custom FBML page but its not reflecting any thing please suggest to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance.
You should start over and not use FBML but use an iframe instead.
You are trying to create an app on a page tab. To do this take a look at the FB dev site and it shows you how to get started with an iframe based app and then how to get that to work on a page tab.
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/guides/canvas/#tabs
Once you move to iframes you can use all of the social plug-ins and other advanced features like the Graph API.
<fb:comments xid="some_unique_id_doesnt_matter_what" canpost="true" candelete="false" publish_feed="true" numposts="10" returnurl="http://facebook.com/YOURPAGE">
<fb:title>Headline</fb:title>
</fb:comments>
this is what you are looking for.. your code doesnt work in FBML, yours is XFBML
<fb:title>
is optional
