I'm developing a Mac application to share the files (video, images) to Facebook using the Facebook API.
In the Facebook SDKs & Tools, I can find only iOS SDK (iPhone & iPad), but not the one specific for Mac application. Does it mean we've to use the iOS SDK for the Mac apps too? If so how can I make use of iOS SDK in Mac application? Actually I tried to use iOS, but it was not successful, and not only that even I had to re-install frameworks which I was using for some other purposes too. The error was related to NSString.
Can anyone advise me in integrating the Facebook API for my Mac application?
There is one sample code written by someone.I've seen on internet. Here you go

I am not sure whether my question is appropriate or not.
I am integrating facebook for the first time and also for the for first my app is multi-platform.
I am integrating facebook in my app for iphone and android. My question are below:
1)If i am doing it with plugin i have to do it separately for both iPhone and Android. Is there any way to integrate Facebook for both in a single effort for eg by using Javascript SDK
2)If yes what it is? and if possible any sample.
Thanks in advance
You should use phonegap-plugin-facebook-connect. It works on both iOS and Android and integrates great with iOS6 bulid in Facebook functionality.
The plugin provides a patched version of the Facebook JS API.
I am developing an application targeted only for iOS device(for now) using PhoneGap library and HTML5. This application is going to be only a web page accessed through iOS Safari browser. I am going to use certain features like accessing accelerometer, geolocation, contacts etc of iOS device using PhoneGap library.
Will I get access to all these features without installing anything on the device.
I want to understand how does PhoneGap get access to native features
of the device by just using JavaScript only?
I see there are several useful plugins written for PhoneGap library.
Can I simply use those plugins(js files) into my page without
installing anything on the device? E.g PhoneGap ChildBrowser plugin?

You will have to build as a native ios app and install it to the device.

Phonegap provides a Javascript interface to access hardware features which are actually Objective-C functions. If you look at Phonegap source you'll see a lot of Objective-C code. So it's not only Javascript.

No. They have to be inside an iOS app to be able to work.
It seems like what your after is a way to access the features of an APP only through the browser.
You can access some things using HTML5 e.g.:
Geo location http://html5demos.com/geo
Accelerometer http://menscher.com/teaching/woaa/examples/html5_accelerometer.html
Video Embedding http://www.w3schools.com/html5/html5_video.asp
If I develop a Titanium app for the iphone is it still allowed, as I heard that Apple has banned third party tools again in 2011?
currently my titanium app is still in app store ;)
It would be allowed on the store because Titanium takes the code you write in JavaScript creates native code from it. Titanium even creates an XCode project file that you can open up, edit, etc. It's in the Build->iPhone directory.
I want to get a list of all the application in iPhone.
There is a website that shows the code on how to do it.
http://amitay.us/ihasapp/index.php
But it doesn't get all the list from an iPhone.
I heard this is possible with Jailbroken phone.
Is this possible if I get the iPhone enterprise library.
I can't find a clue in Enterprise Deployement Guide.

I am planning to make an iPhone web application and I just wanted to know what is required for web development?
Can I do the web development on a windows machine? Does Apple provide any iPhone plugin so that we can develop web application using Windows?
What is required for developing on a Mac?
Regards,
Amit
If you are making a web application, you can download Safari for Windows and view it there.
You can also use Joe Hewitt's iUI framework to make your app look and feel all iPhone-y.
? If you are gonna build a web application, the application runs on the browser. To use your application the user use Safari (on the iPhone). Apple doesn't control web applications.
If you mean, embed your web application, INSIDE a native iPhone application, you need a Mac to build the wrapper, for the core application you can use whatever system you want.
May I suggest to take a look at phonegap (if you are looking to iPhone app).
Check out these three apple sites:

http://developer.apple.com/safari/
http://developer.apple.com/safari/library/navigation/CodingHow-Tos.html
I would check out these pages thoroughly, and also at a minimum, I'd download safari for mac or windows.
Yes, you can develop it on windows. They are just web apps.
For mac or windows, latest safari and a public website is probably all you need. Check out google app engine for a good free development site that supports a database/datastore. www.appspot.com
Also, you can look at the webapps on a regular computer. http://www.apple.com/webapps/travel/staycation.html

I presume you are talking about creating a web application designed to be used from an iphone.
The iphone uses safari as its browser. You can download this for use on windows and it should give you an accurate representation of how your app will look when rendered on an iphone. However in order to test how well your app performs on the phone, and if it really is usable using the touch screen the I think the only way to be really sure is to test using the iPhone.
You can use safari for windows to test the rendering but for your final tests you need to use a real iphone in order to understand how your users will experience it.
