"Myfanpage on facebook" how to add this "on facebook" line? - facebook

I added likebox to my site, I want to look it like http://society6.com/ (at the bottom of the page). My likebox only displays the name of my fanpage. How to add this "on facebook" part? Also, my fan page is something facebook.com/pages/myfanpagename/32323523433 How to edit my fan page name to facebook.com/myfanpage Any ideas?
Thanks!

In the plugin settings plugin settings, deselect "Show header" check box. I wanted to send an attachment but I'm a new user and it's not allowed. Anyway, hope it helps.

How can you change the URL of a business page on Facebook?

How can you change the URL of a business page on facebook? I looked in page info and page settings everywhere to no avail. Can someone point me in the right direction?
I'd like my current business page URL (https://www.facebook.com/tenfourWest-118465346274092/) to be changed to: https://www.facebook.com/tenfourWest if possible.
Thanks for your help!
Log in to facebook using your account as admin of the facebook page.
Go to your facebook page.
Look for the "About" Section on the right side. (It was located above "Page Transparency")
Click "See All".
Under "General", look for the username and click "Edit".
From #tenfourWest-118465346274092 to #tenfourWest.(Make sure this username does not exist. Just follow the tips on Choosing a username.)
Click "Create Username".
Done...
Hope this will work.

uncheck "Post to facebook" as default in facebook comment social plugin

I want to have the possibility for users to post comments on a page on my website. But i dont want that peoples comments should show up on their wall.
So how can i have the checkbox "Post to facebook" unchecked as default? And even better, can i also remove it?
A picture of the box can be seen here:

There isn't an option for this currently. You could request it by getting a hold of Facebook on their developer group page.

How do you put a "LIKE" button on your Facebook Page?

Every post on here seems to be directed to Advanced Users, I just want to know simply how to place a "Like Button" on my Facebook page? Where do I put the HTML code thats generated for me?
Use lint, place your link there and at the bottom you'll have iFrame code. You'll place it to your website (anywhere) and you're done

Facebook app description and Like button

I added social plugin to my app(IFRAME)- "Like button". After adding
a plugin, I decided to change page description.
Everything seems to be ok, except description remains old
in "Like" plugin window...
So how to make it fresh?
Your help would be appreciated.
You need to run it through the URL Linter.

Facebook fbml add fan button to page

I'm trying to figure out how to add a Fan button to a Facebook page right next to the company name. I've seen this done on a few pages, as shown in the following screenshot.
I've added the FBML application though I can't find a great deal of information on the code required for the actual button and then how to place the button on the page. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks.
For pages, that button is automatically handled by Facebook. If you are already a Fan of the page, the button won't appear. You should be able to "unfan" the page in your account settings.
The FBML application lets you add arbitrary FBML to the "box" that represents that application. It has nothing to do with the Fan button.
Visit the url that lets you edit your page information, on the right had side you should see something along the lines of "Promote with a fan box" -- that should be what you're looking for.
If you want to do it by hand you can use the fb:fan tag (http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Fb:fan)
Thanks guys. Yep I delved into the hacks for this using FBML though eventually logged out and logged in with a different account and lo and behold! Facebook add this Fan Button by default now.
