I submitted a new update to my app where application .plist points to a new icon. But in AppStore I still see the old icon after my app was launched. I suspect I did not click 'Save' when uploading new 512px icon during submission process or something like that happened. Anyway, when users load the app, the new icon is displayed which is great. But AppStore shows the old icon still.
Now how do I change the icon (most likely it's the 512px one) without resubmitting the app?
Thanks in advance.
Have you checked the iTunes Connect Developer Guide? If you really do not want to go through the review process again, you could try to use the "Contact us" form in iTunes Connect, to get in touch with the review people at Apple. Maybe they let you change the App Store icon.

I have already got an app available in App Store, and now making some more.
I want my new app to contain list of my other apps and to update it automatically when a new app comes out.
The 2nd I want to make is: on clicking such link I want not to open an AppStore app, but displaying that app info in the app, with ability to install it right from there (an example - Cut the Rope game).
Any ideas?
Solution
In your iTunes store app link you need to change the following text:
?ls=1&mt=8
to
?mt=8
This will open the app page as an iTunes preview page.
My app just got submitted to the app store and I just downloaded it, I am getting iAd's advertisements just like while I was developing it. Will is this showing up on other peoples devices? Or just on the devices that I have in my developer account?
There is a possibility that you've got a development version on the phone and that wasn't overwritten by your app downloaded from app store.
So, just try deleting the app from your phone and computer, and then try to re-sync.
Usually, you will not see your iAd ads on a device where you have installed any provisioning profiles.
In any case, to make sure that everything is working correctly, you should go to: http://iad.apple.com, log in, and check the status of your app (i.e., click on the app name at the bottom of the Summary page where you land).
If everything is ok, you should see a status message like in the attached picture. If not, the status message will mention "test ads". In this case, get in touch with Apple by going to itunesconnect and clicking the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. They will fix it quickly.
I submitted an app to apple, they said my icon needs to change.
I redesigned the icon but found that there is no way to change the icon.
If I submitted a new app, the app name will duplicated and be refused
Welcome any any comment
Your icon was most likely rejected because it has the iTunes logo in it, which I believe is against Apples policy.
You don't need to submit a "new app" to change your icon. You can just simply change the icon then resubmit the binary.
In your application (in iTunes Connect), choose Version Information / Edit:
Then scroll all the way down past the rating system and you will see Large 512x512 Icon:
This is where you will reapply your new icon (without the iTunes logo)
I am in the middle of finalizing my website getting ready for the releasing of my iPhone app, now I am wondering if it's possible to get the link for iTunes installation earlier, even before it's officially approved by AppStore. Anyone tried that?
Absolutely.
Create the app in iTunes if you haven't already.
Go to the app page in iTunes.
On the main page for your app copy the link from "View in App Store"
Once it is approved that will be its URL.
Login into iTunes Connect and go to Manage Your Apps
then click on the app you had uploaded and right click on View in App Store and go to Open Link in New tab...
By doing this you will get iTunes Link for your application..
My App was rejected by Apple, Now I have fixed the issues and want to upload the updated bundle file, but when I try opening the compressed bundle file using Application loader, I am getting an error "No eligible applications were found" for Applicaton loader. Please suggest solution. Do I need to change anything in the iTunesConnect?
Thanks
In itunesconnect "App Store" tab and "iOS APP" heading, select
the rejected version.
In the right pane where the description and
screenshots appear, scroll down to "Build".
Click the red minus sign beside the rejected build to remove it.
Resubmit the new uploaded version.
You need to login in to iTunes connects and need to do again "Ready to submit binary". Right now your app status should be "Rejected". So you must do that first before uploading through Application loader.

Let me know.
You need to click on the "Ready to Submit Binary" button in iTunes Connect first before doing this.
Click on your app - you'll find the button on the top right.
try it in Safari. I was struggling with this in Chrome.
