I would like to display all possible values in a SuggestBox.
Naturally, I have the following code (settingName is a SuggestBox)
settingName.getTextBox().addFocusHandler(new FocusHandler() {

Unfortunately, the suggestbox displays anything. Of course, the settingName is associated to an oracle with several values inside it.
Am I crazy ?
According to the documentation :
public void showSuggestionList()
Show the current list of suggestions.
You need to set the defaults to show by suggestOracle.setDefaultSuggestionsFromText(..)
When showing the list, the SuggestBox will ask the oracle for values to show. If the text box is empty, then requestDefaultSuggestions will be called (which by default calls requestSuggestions).

I have a requirement wherein on a single click in the cell, normal editing must be possible and on double clicking in the cell a dialog should open for editing the cell. The two are possible individually. I see a method "boolean supportMultiEdit(IConfigRegistry configRegistry, List configLabels)" but there is no example to show the working. Multi edit means it is possible to edit multiple cells at once. This is of course done in an editor, as it makes no sense to perform multi edit inline. You should rather have a look at openInline(IConfigRegistry, List<String>) or even better the EditConfigAttributes#OPEN_IN_DIALOG to solve what you are looking for.
But you are actually seeking for a way to handle opening an editor differently on different UI interactions. So you need to register the corresponding UI bindings. This is already discussed in the NatTable Forum.
And the EditorExample shows quite a lot of possible configuration options available for editing. And almost every editable example shows multi editing capabilities. You simply need to select multiple cells you want to edit and then start typing or pressing F2.
The following code would do the trick with a configuration based on a label that is added in the UI binding action:

I have a org.apache.wicket.markup.html.panel.FeedbackPanel in my panelA class. The feedback panel is instantiated in a panelA constructor with one message to display -> feedbackPanel.info("displayFirstTime"). I am navigating to a new page and later to the previous panelA with a command
target.getPage().get(BasePage.CONTENT_PANEL_ID).replaceWith(panelA);
but the message "displayFirstTime" won't be displayed on the feedback panel again.
I have made it with overriding a panel onBeforeRender method

Is it possible or how to make it, that when moving to a panelA page for the 2nd time the feedback message will be also displayed ?
Wicket uses application.getApplicationSettings().getFeedbackMessageCleanupFilter() to delete the feedback messages at the end of the request cycle.
By default it will delete all already rendered messages.
You can setup a custom cleanup filter that may leave some of the messages, e.g. if they implement some interface. For example:

Is there a way in JavaFX8 to select date (as text) in DatePicker from Java code? I want to activate a control with DatePicker in such a way, a user could edit a date without using a mouse.
The similar problem was described here Is there a way to select a text field in code without clicking on it (javafx)?, but the problem was about TextField.
I've tried the solution given in the above question:

I am using GWT 2.4. I have a Suggestbox and I have a requirement to hide the suggestion list under certain cases. The context is as below.
After user selects a suggestion from suggestion list, I am populating two other text box fields, with values corresponding to the selection. For example, suppose the suggestbox contains user-names, and user selects a user-name from suggestions, then other two fields, say user address and email are populated in two other text boxes. These two fields are read only now. Then user clicks on an 'Edit' button. Now the user can edit either user- name ( ie edit in suggestion box), user address and email. It doesn't make sense to show the suggestions again when the user is editing the user-name, since the user has already selected the user and decided to edit it. In a nutshell my SuggesBox should behave as a normal text box. I tried following code, (I know hideSuggestionList() is deprecated) but its not working.

Reading the javadoc for hideSuggestionList() it is said that, "Deprecated. use DefaultSuggestionDisplay.hideSuggestions() instead". I don't know how to use DefaultSuggestionDisplay, and I'm using SuggestBox with 'MultiWordSuggestOracle'.

What you can do is simply swap the SuggestionBox with a normal TextBox when the user clicks edit and back when edit is closed. Also because if you would hide the suggestions list, it still queried from the server. By swapping the widget you don't have to care about side effects. SuggestionBox itself uses also a TextBox and thus for the user it's not visible the widget has changed.
If you don't use your own SuggestionDisplay, then this should Just Workâ˘:

Actually you have to create a SuggestBox with 3 Parameters to the Constructor.
I am trying to create a ListBox using GWT. I am using UiBinder to create the field.
I would like to set a default text on the list box and when a user clicks on the box, it should show me the list items. Once again, if user has not selected any option, it should show me the default text again.
Any way to do this either using Uibinder or some ListBox methods?
If I understand correctly you want a value to show but when the user clicks on the list it disappears and shows you the list items?
As far as I know there is no option to that natively.
What you can do is add the first item to hold your default value.
You can do this grammatically by using addItem in code or using:

The value can still be selected.
You can choose to ignore it or add an attribute "disabled" with value "disabled" to the option element:
