I have registered an Custom URL scheme in my application. From server i send an SMS to the phone with the message starting with the custom URL scheme. example myapp://mymessageToApplication
When the SMS reaches the inbox, the messages application does not receognize the above message as a link. So, i am unable to click on the message to start by application. This happens everytime i delete the application and reinstall the application. But, when i restart my phone, the messages application recognizes the message as a link and i can click on the link to start my application. After that it all fine until i delete the current application and re-install it again through xCode on my test phone.
Does anyone aced similar issue? can anyone suggest me what could be wrong?
To add, i can type the message myapp://mymessageToApplication in browser to launch my application. It works always. So, the custom URL is registered fine. Only the messages application is not picking it up until i restart the phone.
I have filed a bug in Apple and they have replied for that. They ahve agreed that it is a known issue and they are working on it.

Did you try to only kill and restart the messages application instead of restarting your iPhone completely?
I guess that's only because the Messages application only check which custom URL schemes are registered when it launches (and not when it is already launched but in background and is only brought to forground). Just a guess but it might be a probable explanation
(and if it is, I don't think there is anything you can do except file a bug to Apple... but check it first)

However, I am unable to reproduce this issue at my end. But though, I tried all the possible solution based on answers on the SO. Still issue doesn't resolved for them.

I am creating a newsstand application. the application is ready, now i am trying to upload the app in apple store using Application Loader. While uploading the zip file its showing the error message as
Unable to process application info.plist validation at this time due to a general error (1095)
I googled this in the net, but did not find the solution still.
This is clearly an Apple server issue, not an Xcode/iOS/OSX issue. Just wait patiently and Apple's servers will catch up to the traffic, or solve whatever issues they're having at their end.
If you're anxious, feel free to just sit there and restart Xcode until it works - but it's not restarting Xcode, only the time you waste that's solving the issue.
While you're waiting, run your apps in Instruments and solve some performance issues ;)
I just had this error. I waited an hour and tried again with the exact same build and it was all good. Vote for it being Apple's temporary glitch.

One possible problem to this is corrupted png files. The png files should not be interlaced
I found a solution to the problem.
If you're using Xcode 4+, you don't have to use Application Loader anymore. Instead you should archive your project in Xcode (Product->Archive). It will then open the organizer, where 3 buttons are displayed. Hit the submit button.
If you've created an entry for your app with Itunes Connect, you should be able to choose that from the list, and then select your distribution profile. Then hit the next button, and you should get a message, that tells you, that your app has been submitted.
At least that worked for me.

Click on Activity... button

Forgot to update them in Build Target > General Tab

Just think at what time less people would be accessing the sever...

Please remove all your icons and splash image also remove icon Files and icons File( IOS 5 ) from info.plist and then add all your icons to app bundle ...
After this update info.plist iconFiles field add desired name of icons....
And last but not least remove Provisioning profile from developer portal and recreate it ...
Clean your build and Archive it and using Application Loader submit it to AppStore ...

Some say it doesnt start on their HTC Hero, another says it doesnt open in their Cliq, etc. I built the entire app using my Droid X to debug. Now that the app is released, and the code is interacting with so many different types of hardware, how do I figure out what may be going wrong for these users?
In my Crash errors log I have one record of a crash, and I believe I've already fixed this. It was certainly not responsible for the crashes that users are complaining about.
Maybe you have to check manually or maybe it's a problem of multiresolution because different mobile have different resolutions. Otherwise if it is possible then you have to include crash log report in your application which send crash logs to your email id.
Or you can ask them to install crash log reporter and set your emailid to target for crash report. Try this link, first one for manually adding code to your application.

Do you have any Logcat outputs in release mode? May be they help you out..
Alternatively, you can test it out on 3rd party mobile testing vendors.. Where in you can buy some hours and do some quick testing...
