I've been trying to post app specific actions to wall posts but nothing seems to help. What am I doing wrong?

You must convert actions to JSON string, using json gem this is how you will do it:
gem install json
then use to_json to convert your array to json:

Replace this:

with this:

It´s called "Declarative Fields", see changelog.
Also, you need to authorize with the email permission, of course. And the email has to be confirmed. You can´t be 100% sure to get an email, some users use their phone number to login.

I want to post activities from page tab app to my own facebook page. I referred many documents to post message to app.

We need manage_pages permission which we can get it using https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?client_id=client_app_id&client_secret=9ea3e2eff7c65b1fcf1a633da&redirect_uri=YOUR_REDIRECT_URL&scope=read_stream,publish_stream,offline_access,manage_pages.
After that using above code we will get access token which can be used to publish to our page
I am trying to use the Graph API to post on the wall of the authenticated user.
The issue which I am facing is when I try to share a post e.g.

Then the post which is getting shared in the Facebook is only a link, which is not expected.
Expected :

Actual:
Only a link is posted. no preview, and any other information.
Put the link within the message text.
I.E.:

I've written a script that authenticates against Google's OAuth API for Latitude, using Net::OAuth. It correctly authenticates (as I can successfully fetch data out of the API). However, when I try to add an historical entry, I get a 401 Unknown authorization header response. I'm using the following code:

All of the variables are used in the fetch portion of the API, so I know those are all ok. I'm not sure if I'm using the correct URL to post against, and I've tried what's in the sample above, as well as $request->to_url.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
After some back and forth with the Latitude API team, it was determined that this error comes from the fact that the Content-Type is not actually being set to application/json. Changing the above code to:

We use Facebook Connect on our site in conjunction with the WWW::Facebook::API CPAN module to publish to our users newsfeed when requested by the user.
So far we've been able to successfully update the user's status using the following code:

According to the CPAN documentation all we should have to do is update our code to something like the following and pass the attachments & action links appropriately which doesn't seem to work:

The above, nor any of the other representations we tried seem to work. I'm hoping some other perl developer out there has this working and can explain how to create the attachment and action_links variables appropriately in Perl for posting to the Facebook news feed through WWW::Facebook::API.

I think the problem is that your JSON string might be invalid. I was able to get it to work by just using JSON::Any to serialize a Perl data structure instead of building the JSON string manually. (WWW::Facebook::API uses JSON::Any under the hood; it would be nice if it could take a Perl data structure instead of a JSON string. I will try to submit a patch this weekend.)
