I am trying to input a form into my html and when I view the page, I don't see the entire form, just the start of the form. The code is below of my html and form script.
<section id="content">
<div class="container_12">
<article class="a3">
<h4>Careers</h4>
<p class="p2">
<a name="form1160016477" id="formAnchor1160016477"></a>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://fs23.formsite.com/include/form/embedManager.js?1160016477"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
EmbedManager.embed({
key: "http://fs23.formsite.com/res/showFormEmbed?EParam=m%2FOmK8apOTB8lIDHQTyQ62rYe2Y6sJfY&1160016477",
width: "100%"
});
</script>
<!-- Notes:
To control the width of the form, change width: "100%" to any number or percentage.
To pre-populate fields in the form or to use a custom resize callback, see http://fs23.formsite.com/documentation/embedded-form.html
-->
Here is the website: http://www.creativemindspcs.org/englishapplication.html
The problem is the iframe height, you need to add height:800px; to the iframe style in the html. At the moment it is set at the default which is too small so the iframe window doesn't show everything.
As the iframe is generated dynamically with the JavaScript it should be possible to pass in a height parameter like you do width, if that is the case then this would fix it:
EmbedManager.embed({
key: "http://fs23.formsite.com/res/showFormEmbed? EParam=m%2FOmK8apOTB8lIDHQTyQ62rYe2Y6sJfY&1160016477",
width: "100%",
height: "800px"
});
If te 800px doesn't fix it you could try 100% for height but generally speaking heights and percents don't mix very well.
i have recently had to implement this and the forms now support resizeCallback, so you can set height via javascript

I'm trying to make all picture posts on my homepage not clickable, so they can't link to the permalinks. (I just want them to stay as miniatures with the hover cycle effect already provided by the theme)
I've tried removing {LinkOpenTag} and {LinkCloseTag} from:
{block:Photo}
<div class="wide-sizer">
<div class="image">
{LinkOpenTag}
<img src="{block:PermalinkPage}{PhotoURL-HighRes}{/block:PermalinkPage}{block:IndexPage}{PhotoURL-500}{/block:IndexPage}" alt="{PhotoAlt}"
data-high-res="{PhotoURL-HighRes}"
data-width="{PhotoWidth-HighRes}"
data-height="{PhotoHeight-HighRes}"
/>
{LinkCloseTag}
</div>
But photos and photosets are still clickable.
This is my page: http://woodstudiofr.tumblr.com
I'm using the "Spectator Theme".
UPDATE: ok so i tried removing as data-permalink={Permalink}as lharby suggested, but now all the links redirect to /undefined.
Any ideas?
thanks again for your time !
As mentioned in my comment, the data-permalink attribute has been removed, but there is still some custom javascript which is casing the url to be returned undefined.
Go to the bottom of your template, before the closing <body> tag and add this code:
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){
$('.post').unbind('click').click(function(){});
});
</script>
(Basically instead of binding the post to a click function which is in the custom javascript we are now attempting to unbind it on click).
I tested it in the browser and it looks to be working (although a couple of other methods I thought would work didn't).
EDIT
In order to change the cursor on the post element. Remove the clickable class from the .post div from the template (if you can, if it is hard coded in).
Alternatively inside the style tags at the bottom, add the following css:
.post-grid .post.photo.clickable a,
.post.clickable {
cursor: default;
}
I have a tumblr blog on which I post short webcomic stories. I want that when I post a few pages in a single post, they appear small, but when I click it enlarges and one can browse through the comic.
I would like to have something similar to this.
How can I set it up?
You can achieve this by implementing the Pirobox plugin in your theme: http://www.pirolab.it/pirobox/
You will then need to edit the photoset code in your theme to something like this:
{block:Photoset}
<div class="photo">
{block:Photos}
<a rel="gallery" class="pirobox_gall" href="{PhotoURL-HighRes}"><img src="{PhotoURL-500}" alt="{PhotoAlt}"/></a>
{/block:Photos}
</div>
{/block:Photoset}
And make sure you also adjust the photo-post block so they also open in Pirobox when clicked.
{block:Photo}
<div class="photo">
<a rel="single" class="pirobox" href="{PhotoURL-HighRes}"><img src="{PhotoURL-500}" alt="{PhotoAlt}"/></a>
</div>
<div class="caption">
{Caption}
</div>
{/block:Photo}
Add a link to the Pirobox js file in the "head" of your theme.
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://static.tumblr.com/ajtokgb/DfDluuzg8/pirobox_extended.js"></script>
Add this before the "head" or preferably in the "body" section near your other scripts.
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
$().piroBox_ext({
piro_speed : 700,
bg_alpha : 0.5,
piro_scroll : true // pirobox always positioned at the center of the page
});
});
</script>
And you will need to style it with CSS of course. You can also look into the "fancybox plugin" which does something similar.
Now when people click on a photo from one of your posts, an enlarged version of the picture will open up and they will be able to browse through the pictures from that specific post.
Note: This method will only work with photo posts. Every theme is different, you will need to adjust the code to suit your theme.
The likebox I created for nbglive.com is not resizable, no matter what method I use, and as such, it is causing great trouble as to how I can integrate it with our site without having it overlap the radio player.
Is it possible to get the like box to resize when the page is resized? I'm using twitter-bootstrap.
I am putting FB widgets (likebox and comments) into the Bootstrap's grid like this:
<div class="span4">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="fb-like-box" data-href="{url}" data-width="234" data-show-faces="true" data-stream="false" data-border-color="#007Db7" data-header="false"></div>
</div>
</div>
where url is the variable containing web URL of the FB page.
with CSS:
div.fb-like-box,
div.fb-like-box > span,
div.fb-like-box > span > iframe[style],
div.fb-comments,
div.fb-comments > span,
div.fb-comments > span > iframe[style] {
width: 100% !important;
}
Facebook loads its component asynchronously with styles set according to the width data attribute. I set it to some safe value: looks bad but does not overflow to other elements for different view-ports. My CSS overrides all the FB's width settings that are necessary to resize the widgets (I set 100%, so it adjusts to the containing div). It is not documented and possibly it will stop to work when FB changes their designs, so choose your default width (234px for me) wisely ;)
Example with LikeBox of at the bottom of the right-hand side panel and in the sidebar. Note the responsive behavior when you change the size of the browsers window.
Here is an easy way:
$(".fb-like-box").attr("data-width", $(document).width());
Do your cording according to your CSS as below
<div class="comment-box">
<div class="fb-comments" data-href="site_url" data-width="100%" data-numposts="5" data-colorscheme="light" data-mobile="auto-detected"></div>
</div><!--comment-box-->
cut and copy java-script as fb gives in headder
I'm developing iPad html5 webpage that needs to display pages from other origins (different domains).
I'm loading those pages into iframe, and scrolling the iframe using the iOs5 new scrolling ability, as shown in the code below.
<div id="myDiv" style="height: 1185px; width: 100%; overflow:scroll; -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;">
<iframe id="myIframe" src="http://http://css-tricks.com/forums/discussion/11946/scrolling-iframe-on-ipad/p1"></iframe>
</div>
The problem is that the off-screen iframe content is not becoming visible when scrolling to it (the frame is blank).
How can I overcome this issue and provide scrollable iframe solution?
OK. found the solution.
apparently, the problem appear when the main document height is shorter than the iframe that is scrolled.
the parts of the iframe page, that exceed the document height, are not rendered.
So, under my needs, I could solve the problem by adding such a js (with jquery) code:
<script>
$(function() {
var iframe = $("#myIframe");
iframe.load(function() {
$("body").height(iframe.height());
});
});
</script>
If you have an access to iFrame body, apply some transform3d to its content to enable GPU rendering.
In my case adding -webkit-transform: translate3d(0, 0, 0); to main wrapping div did the job.
I have an iframe application build up on php.
I have set iframe size as resizable.
There is a problem the display is not proper if the content is too large.
I have applied the code available on http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Resizable_IFrame
My xd_receiver.htm file is inside my templates folder where my php files are residing.
The code which I am using is:
<div id="FB_HiddenIFrameContainer" style="display:none; position:absolute; left:-100px; top:-100px; width:0px; height: 0px;"></div>
<script src="http://static.ak.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
FB_RequireFeatures(["CanvasUtil"], function(){
FB.XdComm.Server.init(xd_receiver.htm>);
FB.CanvasClient.startTimerToSizeToContent();
}
);
</script>
Please guide on how to make the display correct.
even though In am not sure about this, but Large content could be the the real issue,
try to move this part to the end of your page
FB_RequireFeatures(["CanvasUtil"],
function(){
FB.XdComm.Server.init(xd_receiver.htm>);
FB.CanvasClient.startTimerToSizeToContent();
} ); </script>
