Oracle APEX: Disable a button with dynamic actions - oracle10g

I need to disable apply changes button when user click once on that button. i need to do this without changing the Button template. so, is there any way to do this with dynamic actions ?

Presumably the Apply button submits the page? If so then you can have a submit computation or process that sets a hidden item e.g. P1_APPLY_PRESSED to 'Y'. Then you can create a dynamic action that fires when P1_APPLY_PRESSED = 'Y' that disables the button, specifying its ID value as a DOM object. You can use the Static ID property of the button to give it a simple ID e.g. "applyButton".

Ms access form: field order

can I somehow set in what order the text fields become active after pressing the "Tab" button?
I think it depends on when you added the field and not where it is in the form. So can I change this or I should add the fields in the order I want to switch them with the "Tab" button?
Thanks!
There are at least a couple of ways to change tab order.
With the form in design view, right click on an area of the form without a control. On the context menu that appears, click on Tab Order. A dialog will open that will allow you to change the tab order.
Another method is via the property sheet for each control. On the Other tab there is a property for Tab Order. Just set it to whatever you like.

Liferay Autofield with DatePicker

I have a aui form with Liferay.Autofields enabled.
The fields that I am duplicating with Autofield has a button and a textfield. The button click will trigger the datepicker and the selected value should be stored in the textfield.
And, when I click the "PLUS" button provided by Autofield, the fields are duplicated.
First, I need to know how I can bind the trigger event of all buttons to the datepicker. I know to do this for a single button. But since we are using autofield, I need to give the ID of the button with the index. Can anyone suggest how to bind the trigger event in my scenario
Second, once I click the date picker button, I should be able to get index of the Autofield row in which I have clicked, so that I can update my textfield

Calling a Url using Custom Button and Updating a Checkbox?

I am new to Development.
I have senario where we are trying to use custom objects to try to send SMS whenever a new record is inserted. Right now I am using a custom button which sends a message every time a user clicks on it and I noticed that a custom button cannot be disabled. However: I do want it to be disabled whenever the user sends the text message.
I tried using VF but in order to disable the button I need to depend on some field which has to be updated after clicking the button. Can anyone help me with this?
Can I send a message by using a trigger whenever a new record is added?
can we set the check box value to true in VF when a button in VF is clicked?

Skillbuilders save before exit

I am using the Skillsbuilders Save Before Exit Oracle ApEx plugin within one of my pages but for some reason, I do not want it to fire when the user presses the "Save" button on the page that basically branches back to itself, when they change something on the page.
Now the "Save" button is fired as part of a Dynamic Action, which basically first calls a JavaScript function, followed by PL/SQL and then performs a apex.submit("SUBMIT") JavaScript call.
With this plugin, how can I prevent it from firing when the user presses the "Save" button because when a user changes a field on the screen and then proceeds to press the "Save" button, this plugin fires and displays the dialog to the user that changes have been made, which is not what I want. I just want it to save the changes and stay on the page.
See here for plugin details:
http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=46685:SAVE_BEFORE_EXIT:0:::::
I have read documentation http://skillbuilders.com/download/download-resource.cfm/instructions.pdf?file=Oracle-Apex/plugins/save_before_exit//instructions.pdf
You must change attribute of the plugin named "Disable Warning Selector". Specify jquery selector, applied for all buttons which you want to fire the dialog.

Enable 'submit' button only if a value in the form has been changed

I have a php form for a website containing text fields which display values retrieved from my database and also a submit button. I would like the submit button to be disabled by default and to only be clickable if the user has made a change to one of the text fields in the form. However if they were to change it back to the default value, the button would automatically be disabled again. Any help is appreciated.
You need to use javascript. For each field, you must make a eventhandler that checks the value and then enables or disables your submit-button.
Declare a Variables for each Text box
Then assign the values that you Retrieving from database to the text box and a Variables...
At the time of Button_Click compare the Value of text box with the Variables
If BOTH are Same then there is no EDIT's occur
That's all
