Registration plugin, accessing registration data - facebook

I would like to develop a website using the Facebook Registration plugin. However, I would like to see whether it is possible to avoid having to save the registration data also on the website's own database.
The application is very simple, and it seems redundant that we need to save all the user data again just so we can pick up a random registration and notify a winner.
I have no problem implementing the plugin successfully, but I cannot seem to find a way to browse the registration data either at the Facebook Apps or using Open Graph.
Anybody knows whether it is possible to browse the registration data if it hasn't been saved on a custom database?
Thanks in advance,
Jorge

Check out the "Reading the data" section of https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/registration/
It says your information will come to you in the signed_request parameter.

How can I keep in Google Analytics 2 Utms in paralel when one is changed with another?

I have developed an app that retargets customers when browsing a website and I have some problem with UTM tracking and Google Analytics.
For example if a client gets a customer to click on a FB ad and lands on their website they will have a custom FB utm. After browsing the website my app will display a pop-up and when a client clicks on it he receives my custom UTM.
The problem is that clients loose conversion rate data for the original traffic source and I need to figure out a solution.
Help is very much appreciate
It's not a good practices track with utm inside your site, if the pop-up is on the same domain, dont do it?
In you example, if the user comes from FB, yes, you need to tack with the utm, but the pop up is on your site... lets check the option?
If the asnwer is yes, try to track the user with a Custom Dimention on a Session Level, that will solve almost all your problems.
If the answer is no, you can only store a single UTM per sessions, that means that there is no option to avoid the overwriting the UTM, even consider the referal exclusion.

Get Realtime Updates from a Facebook page

I am working on a web app that use Facebook login. The purpose of the app is to get information about fan pages that the user has in his account (for which he got admin privileges). I work mostly with the insights informations but this is not the issue. Now I would like to receive realtime update from the page like new messages, page posts reply etc. I've read the documentation https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/page/#realtime
and I don't understand the part about adding the app to the page. It is required that the app to be installed for example in one of the tabs? If so, is there a way not to do that and still receive the informations that I want? Also when I try to create a Realtime Update Subscriptions for the page object no "posts" field was available, then how to get realtime updates about it? I am a little confuse and any guidance and advise is more than welcomed.
P.S. I am using PHP SDK, if this helps with something.
I've read the documentation
How about reading it again?

Quote from the docs part you linked to yourself:
Note: You might think that because you're adding this via the tabs API that this is a tab app. It's not. This app isn't visible to users as a page app and isn't managed via any UI.
Also when I try to create a Realtime Update Subscriptions for the page object no "posts" field was available, then how to get realtime updates about it?
You can subscribe to the page’s feed.

Store data of people who clicked on a button on Facebook

I would really appreciate some help with the Facebook application I currently work on.
I developing a simple Facebook application, and I need to store the data of the people, who click the "I want to win button". I'm not sure if I should use plain, old vanilla PHP, or if the Facebook API provides some simple way to do that, so I would be really glad for some ideas about this.
I read about the topic, but I can't really "see the Matrix" yet, so every answer is appriciated. Also I'm more interested in ideas and not the implementation, as I'm fairly confident in my programming skills.
Thank you everybody!
Richard
You will definitely need to use an external db, coz facebook will not store the data for you. However facebook does store the connection that a user makes with the app, i.e. when a user gives some(even basic) permissions to your app. Hence when an old user comes to your app you can know which, and if it is an old user.
Facebook sends your entry script a signed_request, which contains data about the user visiting your app, this request will have a user_id field only if the user has made the connection/authorized your app, hence you know if it's an old user or new.
Once you have the user_id you can call the graph api to get info about the user. In the php SDK you can easily call $facebookObject->api('/me','GET'); to get user info.
You can easily call the functions anytime, so if you want to make a call when a user clicks your button, you can do that.
Check out the links i have included, thoroughly, you'll get the idea.

Passing user data from Connect With Facebook button into Modx profile fields

I've been trying to use the Connect With Facebook button on a Modx Revolution site. I've been following along with this guide here: http://edwardawebb.com/web-development/facebook-login-modx-sites.
So far, I have the button creating the new user, but it's not passing through the data from the Facebook profile to the Modx profile fields. In addition to that, I need a way to tell the user what their username is so they can login with that username if they chose to (as opposed to using the Connect with Facebook button again).
Here is what my snippet looks like that is creating the profile from the Connect with Facebook button: http://pastebin.com/jdf5zrA8
Eventually, I want to collect more user data than what's in there now, but I figured I would start simple for now. Since this is a bit more advanced than my skills are.
I appreciate any help.
I'm just about to release an extra for MODX Revolution which will do what you need - see http://www.hyper-typer.com/news/facebook-login-modx and http://www.github.com/freelancewebdev/fblogin - particularly the snippets in core/components/snippets.

Facebook Login + Registration

I have looked through dev docs and and tutorials via google engine, but I am kinda lost plus I am no expert in logic or programming..
I am trying to combine with login and register on the page. If user have fb account, they can log in. and then have database store their information for shopping purpose. if not, they could register and again have database store their info.
How to combine them using PHP SDK? Also I notice that I couldn't use Javascript SDK for login and register (do I need to create two apps for login and register?)
Insight will be appreciated. thank you very much
If you are talking about the "Registration Plugin" then I've written a tutorial about this:
