I was wondering if anyone knows of any open source applications that are using three20. Would be very useful to have when I'm having trouble figuring things out.
You can ran a github search for objective-c projects with has three20 in their description. There are many apps out there on github:
https://github.com/search?langOverride=&language=Objective-C&q=three20&repo=&start_value=1&type=Repositories&x=0&y=0

I have downloaded mailcore for ios but I'm unable to add it to my iphone project.
Any help or pointers would be welcome.
http://code.google.com/p/remail-iphone/
remail uses mailcore, and since its acquisition by google, is open source.
GETTING STARTED
The best way to start learning MailCore is by reading through
documentation intro (in index.html)
and the the included example
projects.
To run the example projects:
Copy MailCore.framework to your ~/Library/Frameworks folder.
In each example project, add ~/Library/Frameworks/MailCore.framework
to the list of Linked Frameworks.
Build it!
The documentation isn't as detailed as I'd like. Sorry about that!
I'm looking for some static library or open source project (in obj-c, released under some permissive license) to parse CSS in iPhone. Any recommendations?
OK, I found good library for parsing CSS - libCSS from the NetSurf web browser project. Released under MIT license, can be used without problems for commercial iPhone applications distributed via the AppStore.
It requires some code for the programmer to write (e.g. you need to provide your own DOM hierarchy handlers), and there are no examples available... but people from the NetSurf dev mailing lists are very helpful. In case of problems you can search the list for my questions.

I would recommend htmlcxx. It's pretty actively maintained, written in C++ and you can use it to parse HTML and CSS.
Of course, since it's written in C++, you can use it in your iPhone application with no problems at all.
I've taken this project and made it easy to add to your iOS or OSX projects. Clone my github project and add the html (and or css) folder to your project. There is an Xcode project too - so you can build and run the simple test provided by the original authors
I have recently downloaded the most recent build of this awesome tool WSDL2OBJC from google code here: http://code.google.com/p/wsdl2objc/
After a bit of tweaking and downloading the latest version of the trunk from the svn repo I got a version that created the code for a WSDL I am using and compiles great and actually installs on my phone!
However, I'm not doing anything with it yet, because I am not really sure how to. There is very little in the way of sample code on the site, and there is a sample file in the project if you download it, but again it is very complicated and there are no real bits of documentation.
Has anyone managed to successfully use this stuff? It seems SOOO powerful and useful but from a look around the Internet, no one knows how to use it. We (all) would love someone who has figured it out to post a simple project or detailed walk-through of implementing this so we can put the code that lots of people have worked hard on to good use.
If anyone has found a blog entry or has this information it would be great to see!
I am totally stuck... with no errors. I would love to know how to use this now that it's all compiled successfully!
I wrote a short tutorial: http://brismith66.blogspot.com/2010/05/iphone-development-accesing-soap.html I hope it's helpful.
I'm just giving it a shot to learn objective C and Cocoa and play
aound with the Google APIs.
I am trying to follow the instructions on the main page to include the
framework within my application but I'm not having much luck.
Would someone be able to provide some instuctions with a bit more
detail?
I would greatly appreciate it.
I've added the GData.xcodeproj under my main application and added a
direct dependency to GData under Target->myApp
I keep getting the following error:
cd "/Users/ankushgupta/Xcode Projects/Google Test"
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DevToolsCore.framework/Resources/
pbxcp -exclude .DS_Store -exclude CVS -exclude .svn -strip-debug-
symbols -resolve-src-symlinks /Users/ankushgupta/Xcode\ Projects/Google\
Test/build/Release/GData.framework /Users/ankushgupta/Xcode\ Projects/Google
\ Test/build/Release/Google\ Test.app/Contents/Frameworks
pbxcp: GData.framework: No such file or directory
I'm kind of lost and I really need to get this setup so I can learn
the API and do some real coding :(
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanx in advance...
You need to download the Objective-C Google API source code from
http://code.google.com/p/gdata-objectivec-client/
and compile it from the included xCode project. The included documentation explains in detail how to either link statically, include framework or reference the Google API code directly from your project.
I choose to include all the source code I need directly in my project by reference to the original Google files. Include the source files by dragging them into you xCode project.
I wouldn't recommend the Google API's for learning to program the iPhone. It would be complicating the learning process unnecessarily.
How, if possible, can I have iPhone SDK's classes (UI*) to autocomplete inside TextMate?
Ok, after looking the link Kendall posted and some other places this is what I have found:
There is currently NO easy way to have autocomplete of iPhone APIs in TextMate.
The link on the post Kendall pointed is old, but I found it and one other iPhone Bundle on gitHub:
http://github.com/Caged/gtbfm-textmate-bundle
http://github.com/drnic/objective-c-iphone-tmbundle
But none of these bundles offers autocomplete, they have some templates and snippets.
The closest I have found is on the svn repository from TextMate:
http://svn.textmate.org/trunk/Review/Bundles/iPhone.tmbundle
It's not official yet, and I have reported some issues with it to the developer (Joachim MÃ¥rtensson).
You can have autocomplete with this bundle, but it is working only with classes files, not headers.
Try out the link at the bottom of this thread:
