So my game wants the players to have the ability to subscribe to a game bot and I'm using FBInstant.player.canSubscribeBotAsync() method. But everytime, it will return an error that state
Uncaught TypeError: FBInstant.player.canSubscribeBotAsync is not a function
here is my code
FBInstant.player.canSubscribeBotAsync().then(function(yes){
if(yes){
FBInstant.player.subscribeBotAsync().then(function(){
console.log('sub');
}).catch(function(e)){}
}
});
I tried using this code from FB developer doc
FBInstant.player.canSubscribeBotAsync().then(
can_subscribe => console.log(can_subscribe)
);
but the result still the same.
It seems that I tried to let the player subscribe when they click the button and this error appears.
But when I switch it from letting the player click the subscribe button to asked when player finished loading the game, the error disappears. The program's flow look like this
window.onload = async () => {
FBInstant.initializeAsync().then(()=>{
FBInstant.startGameAsync().then((res)=>{
FBInstant.player.canSubscribeBotAsync().then((canSub)=>{
//Ask for sub or something
}).catch(()=>console.log("Error"))
})
})
But for me, this is a temporary fix since normally you should be able to call a function anywhere you want (working or not isn't my problem) and my problem is that I can only call FBInstant.player.canSubscribeBotAsync() inside FBInstant.initializeAsync() or FBInstant.startGameAsync() but not outside of them
I have created the button in the gmail inbox using inboxsdk.
Now i want to get a pop up by clicking on that button
2.Pop up should contain a link which navigates to my website page(xyz.com/login.php)
How can i do these using inboxsdk
Screenshot:
If you are still struggling with this, I would suggest a simple solution which is to fire a JavaScript confirm dialog see here. On confirmation you could redirect the user, using window.location.href = '<your-url>';.
Another solution would be to use InboxSDK's widgets.
Example:
InboxSDK.load(2, '<InboxSDK-app-id>').then((sdk) => {
...
const el = document.createElement('div');
el.innerHTML = 'Link description';
sdk.Widget.showModalView({
title: 'Modal Title',
el
});
});
For more ModalOptions look here.
Notice: I set the attribute target attribute of <a> tag to "_blank". This makes sure the url opens in another browser tab.
A third, more direct (optional) solution would be to add an onClick event listener to which you attach a function that redirects the user to your url, see a code example here.
A fourth and better possible solution would be to add a DropdownView to your button's onClick function, see example code here.
Is there anyway i can get the hyperlink click in webview to my c# with Hyperlink value in Metro?. I am using WebView..NavigateToString() to generate the content?.
You can call InvokeScript with some of your own Javascript to set up a listener for when the user navigates away from your page. This would look something like the following in C#:
var navigationListenerString = #"
(function() {
function leavingPage() {
window.external.notify("LEAVING PAGE");
}
window.onbeforeunload = leavingPage;
})()";
webView.InvokeScript("eval", new string[] { navigationListenerString });
Then you can use ScriptNotify to listen for your particular message to determine that the page is unloading and the user is leaving. Unfortunately you cannot detect where a user is going. Also, if the hyperlink opens in a new window and the webview does not unload, you cannot detect that either.
Since WebView in windows 8 doesn't support Navigating() events like the Silverlight WebBrowser control, thus it is not possible to get hyperlink or cancel navigation.
But since you're using NavigateToString() method, you can write some manual javascript code and achieve same with the help of WebView.ScriptNotify() event.
I'm developing a photo gallery that uses ajax. I'm using _escaped_fragment_ (#!) too, it already works but when you use the back and fwd browser buttons the url change (the hash fragment) but the image doesn't. I read about the onHashChange event but i wanto to know if there's an automatic way to do this, i mean, if there's a way to preserve the DOM changes in the history just like Facebook does.
I change the hash fragment with:
window.location.hash = "!"+sth
I load ajax content retrieving the hash fragment and using it as index of my photo:
var fragment = window.location.hash.replace("#!","");
if (fragment != ""){
currentItem = fragment;
currentItemBZ = fragment-1;
focused = currentItemBZ;
}
Any help or suggestion will be appreciated
I've used this jQuery plugin in the past to retain back-button and history functionality in an ajax-based application:
http://www.asual.com/jquery/address/
You can register an on change listener, and then change the image in your gallery depending on the new value of the hash.
I am trying to use the sharethis button on a page which is loaded via ajax.
The buttons do not show up. Please help.

After adding the new content to the dom, call
stButtons.locateElements();
// or if you want to be a bit defensive about whether the lib has been
// loaded or not:
if (window.stButtons){stButtons.locateElements();} // Parse ShareThis markup

The stButtons object doesn't exist anymore, now you can use
window.__sharethis__.initialize()
To reinitialize the buttons

As found in The Ape's answer above: https://stackoverflow.com/a/45958039/1172189
window.__sharethis__.initialize()
This still works, however there is a catch if your URL changes on the AJAX request, you need to make sure the URL you want shared is set as a data attribute (data-url) on the inline sharing div. You can also update the title using data-title attribute.
<div class="sharethis-inline-share-buttons" data-url="http://sharethis.com" data-title="Sharing is great!"></div>
Use case:
I'm using a WordPress/PHP function to generate specific content based on a query string. If you don't set the data-url attribute on the ShareThis div, ShareThis will hold the first URL that was clicked to share, regardless of the URL update on AJAX request.
This solution will also work for NodeJS based frameworks, like Meteor.
stButtons.locateElements();
is needed in the rendered callback of a template, to ensure that the shareThis buttons will appear on a page redirect.
I was facing the same problem with sharethis and Ajax pagination.
The buttons was not showing after posts loaded by Ajax so I've searched and found this.
I've just added the function stButtons.locateElements(); on Ajax success:
something like success: stButtons.locateElements();
Hope this will be helpful for someone like me.
Thanks

For the new API following solution worked for me
if (__sharethis__ && __sharethis__.config) {
__sharethis__.init(__sharethis__.config);
}
Add this code after loading ajax content.
do this:
window.__sharethis__.load('inline-share-buttons', config);
and config your buttons with javascript.
The following should work with current ShareThis javascript. If sharethis js isn't loaded, the script loads it. If it is already loaded, ShareThis is re-initialized using the current URL so that it works on pages loaded via Ajax. Working fine for me when used with mounted method on Vue component.
const st = window.__sharethis__
if (!st) {
const script = document.createElement('script')
script.src =
'https://platform-api.sharethis.com/js/sharethis.js#property=<your_property_id>&product=sop'
document.body.appendChild(script)
} else if (typeof st.initialize === 'function') {
st.href = window.location.href
st.initialize()
}
Make sure you use your property id provided by ShareThis in the script src url.
In Drupal you can achieve this by adding following code:
(function($){
Drupal.behaviors.osShareThis = {
attach: function(context, settings) {
stLight.options({
publisher: settings.publisherId
});
// In case we're being attached after new content was placed via Ajax,
// force ShareThis to create the new buttons.
stButtons.locateElements();
}
};
});
I found the following solution on one of the addThis forums and it worked great for me.
I called the function as a callback to my ajax call. Hoep this helps
<script type="text/javascript">
function ReinitializeAddThis(){
if (window.addthis){
window.addthis.ost = 0;
window.addthis.ready();
}
}
...
$('#camps-slide .results').load(loc+suffix, function() {ReinitializeAddThis();});
</script>
