I am tryign to auth the users of my app by redirecting to this auth url
http://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?client_id={APP_ID}&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Fapps.facebook.com%2F{APP_NAME}%2F&scope=email,user_about_me,user_birthday,user_hometown
It all works fine on my developer account that created the app and all authorises okay.
When I use another account that is not linked to the app in any way I am gettng the following error appearing but with no clue as to why?
Does any one have any ideas as to why this may be happening.
It appears that my Facebook App was corrupt in someway. I create a new app in Facebook with new APP ID and Secret and it all worked ok in the end.

I got a job interview which requires me to create a web app with Facebook login. I created the app and everything is working fine, But I got problems...
I noticed that my login page works only with my facebook account because it is in developer mode - this is a big problem for me because my interviewer wont be able to use this feature.
Is threre any way to allow all users test my app without going public with it (I dont have privacy policy , urls, etc...)
for now I am thinking to create a fake test account and send by mail but it is stupid Idia...
Go to your Facebook app Dashboard and under Roles tab try adding your client profile as Administrators/Developers/Testers your client has to accept the provided role and now it should work as expected.
In my Angular2 app I have used the following code:
loginfb() {
this.afAuth.auth.signInWithPopup(new firebase.auth.FacebookAuthProvider());
}
But the problem is I am getting an error App Not Set Up: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.
So I went to Facebook developers, created an app, added the Facebook Login product, went to the product's settings and set the Valid OAuth redirect URIs with the URI given in the firebase console.
But even then when I am trying to login, I am facing the same error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
This error comes when your app is not live.There are a bunch of possible things which could trigger this error.I am not sure and as you are getting error "you don't have access to it",may be you are trying to login through your test version of the Facebook app and you may have not added the user Roles as Testers in Roles section and the you have to add the email address of the Facebook account you are trying to login in setting section.
Then ,make sure that the user you added accepts the request sent before you try to test otherwise it will fail.
And for error "Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions."
When you create new app on Facebook, its by default only visible to you and not to public and others won't be able to use it for social login and they will get this error. You may have to go to Go to your Facebook app's dashboard, Select the "Status and Review" tab and set YES or ON.
You can find similar question and answer is there in this link App Not Set Up.and
This app is still in development mode
I have a MVC5 application with external login. When I use Facebook login, after I put in my login information into facebook login page, facebook fails to direct me back to my application.
I got a white page with the following URL in Chrome's URL bar:
https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?response_type=code&client_id=632877723495196&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%2FMPOS%2Fsignin-facebook&scope=email&state=l2oJwWdkbRsgZHyr6-5lL9ZTZc-eMbRBkH73L-h1ZN_MWvWriNeEdCxuNspi4QptZAna60SQIJX4NB5AItzP6NxpDCz10m48JInWUfvQGWkgFgZhZNFIaTz6ju-kEQ-RyiObgiMOKvBougeeaSHD7CAzTrvc1Gj6XdGgGbUgyrM9d1KZUEGbqh_MdyBPg4wTFbQEiui-2GzvcIvhOVtTRC12NnhgnVyLCrrKEDFaWdU
If I use IE, I got "The website cannot display the page" error page with the following URL on the borwser's URL bar:

Anyone has an answer to this problem? Thanks!
Thanks Nathan, clear cache on browser didn't help. I tried to clear cache/cookies on both IE and Chrome several times before I post the question.
The weird thing is that if I create an app under my personal facebook account and use the FacebookAppID/FacebookAppSecret for my app, the external login works fine. That's how I did all my testing.
But when I try to deploy the website I want to create the app under company's facebook account. I set up the app under the company's facebook account exactly the same way as I did when using my personal facebook account, then I got this redirect problem. If I switch back the FacebookAppID/FacebookAppSecret to the one I created under my personal account, everything works fine. That's even more puzzling.
I finally figured out the problem. I forgot to turn on "make this app and all its live features available to the general public" setting for the app I created in Facebook. So the login was only available to the developer who created the app. After I turn that setting on (it is under the Status and Review Tab), everything works fine.
I'm using Unity and prime31 plug in to access Facebook via my iPhone. I'm trying to test requests via my app by sending a request to a second test Facebook account on my iPhone (so I have my primary Facebook account and I've created a second one for the purposes of testing).
The problem I'm coming across is that I'm logging out of my normal Facebook account on the Facebook app and then logging into my test account. I'm then running my own app to test the requests. However, when I execute a 'me' graphrequest, it's still returning the details of my primary account (even though I logged into my test Facebook account before running my app).
I don't quite understand why it's doing this - I understand that there is a facebook settings page within iOS settings, but I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it?
Can anyone point out where I'm going wrong?
Thanks in advance!
My iOS application allows me to login using my own facebook account successfully. But when I send it on test flight to a friend, the app downloads but when he presses connect to Facebook (which works on my simulator and personal device), it won't let him log in. Doesn't even give him the option to, just spits out an error (com.facebook.sdk error 2). What am I missing? What would cause it to work for me, but not for others? I'm just looking for a general answer here because I followed all the facebook tutorials and I can't imagine what kind of thing could be going wrong.
I just figured out the problem. Should have been SUPER obvious, but being new to development I didn't realize I needed to change the sandbox setting to disabled in order to allow others to access facebook through my app.
This error pops up when your app is not authenticated properly.
You need to keep your BundleId the same at all places.
Change your bundleId in the app that you have registered on Facebook as com.asdad.casd instead of < teamId >.com.asdad.casd
