subclipse in a cluster environment - eclipse

I want to set up a svn repository to be used by 4 linux systems in a cluster.
I have installed subclipse plugin for eclipse. created repository in one of the systems.
I am able to use the repository from the same system through eclipse .
But How can i connect to the svn from other systems across the cluster ???
need some ideas on using URLs to access svn.
Please help

Usually, you set up Subversion under an Apache HTTP server, so that other machines can access Subversion using the HTTP (or HTTPS) protocol.
Here are some step by step instructions for installing Subversion and an Apache HTTP server, and configuring Apache.

Hotswap classes and resources of feature deployed to jboss fuse

I am developing "features" with JBOSS Tools 9 (Eclipse) to be deployed on a fuse 6.2 (with fabric)
At the moment the features are deployed via deploy scripts and fuse downloads the feature from maven repository (profile-edit --repository mvn:...). I am able to remote debut the feature ("-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=5001,server=y,suspend=n").
The problem is if i change something i allways have to run mvn install. To see the changes taking effect.
Is there a way to use the Fuse Server integration (i already added the fuse installation to my Eclipse server view) to sync with my sources/resources like with webapp development.
(probably the deployment must be changed?)
You can turn on dev:watch * (I think the name of the command is) from the shell in JBoss Fuse, which turns on watching the maven repository for SNAPSHOT JARs being updated, and then automatic redeploy those in the JBoss Fuse server.
Then you can develop locally and build the code with mvn install to deploy to your local maven repository, which the dev:watch then triggers.
Mind I cannot 100% remember the command name if its dev:watch or something else with watch. Also the arguments to the command can maybe be to watch a specific name.

How to add http server to eclipse server runtime environments?

I am trying to deploy my code to the apache http server. when I try to add a new http server in Eclipse(Luna) from Eclipse->Preference->Server->Runtime Environment->Add->Under folder “Basic” I don't see “HTTP Server” listed.
I am using OS X and I have apache installed on my machine.
How can I add the Http Server option to the list.
Thanks.
Eclipse luna supprts the version 7.0.47 or 7.0.43
So try this
I found what the problem was. I didn't have WTP installed on my Eclipse.
this helped me.
after I installed WTP I can see http server listed in the runtime server list.

Is it possible to host an Eclipse plugin repository locally behind a proxy?

Using Eclipse behind a Windows proxy causes a lot of difficulty downloading and updating plugins, even with something like CNTLM as a proxy.
Is it possible to have something like a Nexus repository for hosting Eclipse Plugins on the local network?
Eclipse uses the Equinox p2 repository to manage executables, configuration and dependency resolution. Equinox p2 is described is this presentation
To directly answer the question above Jfrog's Artifactory Pro supports proxying and caching of P2 repositories.
Its important to note the free version does not support this functionality.

proxy configuration in eclipse

I have problem with proxy in Eclipse 3.7.2 in Ubuntu 12.04. Eclipse is installed from Ubuntu repository.
I have configured HTTP, and HTTPS proxy in Network Preferences and keep SOCKS clear as many people recommends. But eclipse anyway says HTTP Proxy Authentication Required.
Best Regards
Set system-wide proxy settings in Ubuntu network configuration dialog.
In eclipse.ini add the following line: -Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.excludeContributors=org.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.httpclient
In Eclipse in Network Connections set Active Provider to "native".
I doesn't work because I use OpenJDK. If use oracle's java with eclipse proxy configuration in standard dialog works fine.

Is there anyway for netbean users get connected to clearcase remote client server?

Just want to ask can netbean IDE get connected to clearcase remote client server which eclipse users can install a CCRC plugin to talk to that server? Thanks
I didn't find any CCRC plugging for netbean IDE.
So unless you use the CCRC API to somehow integrate the basic features (checkout, checking, lshistory, lsvtree,...) there doesn't seem to be a netbean-ready solution.
