alarm and date comparison - iphone

I am trying to make a simple alarm.
in this code portion a take the date from the pickerdate (a ONLY time picker).
and if the alarm is the current date before i add a day.

After that i compare the current date with the alarm...

That's the problem in the date in the picker view was before the current time and i add an hours i receive an EXC_BAD_ACCESS error at the line:

It appears that AlarmDateUno is a property. Is that correct? If so, you need to retain it whenever you set it - otherwise, it may be deallocated before you try to access it again.

How to cancel a UILocalNotification based on time

I'm writing an application based on UILocalNotifications. I having the user input a time on a date picker and that time will represent when the last UILocalNotification will fire. After the user hits a UIButton UILocalNotifications will fire based on a time interval until the time they selected occurs, then the app will stop.
I schedule the maximum number of UILocalNotifications before the user inputs a time. Is there a way to cancel the UILocalNotifications that are scheduled after the user's input time, based on time? Or is there a way to cancel all scheduled notifications after the inputted notification fires? The code is setting the last timer and the first timer based of the input time. Thanks for the help.

Local Notification only firing once?

I have a local notification set to fire on the specified date when a user changes the date
on a UIDatePicker. However, when I ran the app, the notification fired correctly, but when

Fire UILocalNotification Weekly

I can't seem to figure out why this notification is not scheduling on Saturdays... I've tried both NSGregorianCalendar and autoupdatingCurrentCalendar. I'm setting [dateComps setWeekday:7];, but it keeps returning Sundays.

dateComps as you calculate it, does not contain a day or month so that setWeekday is just ignored and itemDate is a date on the first January 2012 (which was a Sunday).
To compute the next Saturday, you can proceed as described in Adding Components to a Date of the "Date and Time Programming Guide":

I was wondering how I would edit the dateComps setDay: to go off 3 days before the date set in the picker. I typed in -3, but that doesn't seem to do the trick.

When you say you have typed -3, do you mean you used this line?
[dateComps setDay:[dateComponents day] - 3];
This should in fact work.
Also, you can tell the system to fire any next year by just settings the current year to the date components. You can find the current year just the way you found the date components for pickerDate.
After that, you can set the repeatInterval of the local notification to NSYearCalendarUnit, that way it will fire each year.
Here is a code to subtract 3 days from Today(NOW). You can adapt it for your needs:

Your making it too complicated. DateComponents can be modified and then set to a new date.
I think all you need to do is subtract 3 days from the date returned by the date picker, no?

Set an NSDate object to custom date, combined with datepicker date?

I want to make an NSDate object which has the date set as the current date, but the time set as the time in the datepicker (because the datepicker's mode is the time one). How can i do this?
