How can I move UIView on screen up and down like UITableView in iphone? Please explain

You need a scroll view. UIScrollView, here is a few tutorials on UIScrollViews:
Xcode 4 Tutorial UIScrollView
UIScrollView Class Reference Apple Documentation
Another Tutorial on UIScrollView
The UIScrollView class provides support for displaying content that is larger than the size of the application’s window. It enables users to scroll within that content by making swiping gestures, and to zoom in and back from portions of the content by making pinching gestures.

Your question is a bit ambiguous. If you are looking for exchanging between view positions...like moving one view above another or , say, moving a view that was at top to the bottom & the bottom one to the top, then you might want to look at

hello guys im just starting out at developing a ios application and came across iAd, admob and such networks . i was wondering how do they open a banner(i think thats a view) above the core applications.if you could point me in a right direction it would be of much help
Thanks in advance!
You are right it is a view subclass. It can be declared in your xib file or created programmatically. Apple even has a view specifically for iAd. You can "show" or "hide" the view based on if you have an ad to fill it. You can also do all sorts of animations to slide it in. There are several good tutorials out their that explain how to implement it. Ray Wenderlich is always a good source...

You can even create a view that shows AdMob ads in place of the iAd view if it's not filled.

In my app, I want to create a multi-column TableView like an Excel Sheet.
The Table View may also greater than the screen size, so I also want scroll it Horizontally.
How can I do this?
Pre iOS 6
You'll need to implement it yourself. This isn't available because a very large spreadsheet is difficult to navigate and you should probably rethink your presentation of the data.
Given that warning, you will need to implement this via a UIScrollView and managing attachment of your cells to the scrollView yourself. If you attach all the views in advance you will have choppy scrolling, so you want to attach and remove them as they come into view.
You can also check out the KKGridView project at Github. This may be exactly what you want.
iOS 6 UICollectionView
This class feels similar to UITableView but it supports grids and any custom layout you can dream up. Check out the videos Introducing Collection Views in the WWDC 2012 videos. It is truly amazing.
Better to choose UICollectioView or UISrollView instead of UITableView
The UICollectionView class manages an ordered collection of data items and presents them using customizable layouts.
About using UITableView, you can create custom UITableView cells by using Interface Builder and loading a custom nib. It's only vertically scrollable

I have a yellow UIView, I hope that its height is always maintained at 80 , but it will become a long screen of 4.0 , I want it to be fixed, so for that what should we do ?
Thank you!!
Why does not UIButton With the larger screen and larger it
An autosizing mask as shown (no resizing in the vertical or horizontal directions) will ensure that the UIView does not resize as the screen size changes.
These settings can be found in the size inspector tab within utilities. You should see the autosizing options under the 'View' section.

I want to create an app like Facebook timeline, so want to know that do anyone know how to create tableview like Facebook timeline, that it loads cell limited number of cell at once and automatically when we move to bottom of timeline?
I want to create lazy loading tableview that automatically load new cells when user goes to the bottom of tableview.
a quick terse answer will be:
Load the first few cells of the timeline when the app loads at first. Then when the user starts scrolling, load those cell numbers, depending on "how much" the user has scrolled (use a Gesture Recognizer to calculate this), so that you can load only those cells.
For example, if one cell's height is 40 points. If the user scrolls such that the screen shows from 200 points (i.e. the 'x' value at the top left corner of the screen), then load from cell number 6 (because the user has scrolled past 5 cells i.e. 200/40 = 5).
Hope this helps!

I have a tableView with some images in it. I would like to be able to drag these images around the screen. I have created a custom view which is the size of the visible screen that contains an onTouch method handler and also contains onDraw to allow me to drag an image. I would like some opinions on the best way to get the images from the table view and add them to the custom view when the action_down event is triggered (enabling the image to be dragged). Should I add the tableView to the custom view? Would I beable to detect the image boundry?
Thanks
Solved!
I created onTouchListener for each of the images which created an object that can be passed to the custom view when MotionEvent.ACTION_DOWN is fired. The custom view is then responsible for redrawing when MotionEvent.ACTION_MOVE is fired.
