I am adding a SWT Table in Eclipse Form, but I want to remove the outer border of the Table.
How to do the needful.
Above is the Table I created, But I dont want the Boundary/Border around it.
Don't know if this is the case, but from the picture the outer border looks like the one painted when SWT.Border flag is used. Maybe you are adding your table to composite that has this flag used as style constant. Remove this constant and the outer border will be gone
This border is rendered even if you don't use SWT.BORDER.
But if there is no TableColumn, no border is rendered.
Just remove TableColumn, if you want to remove border.
Try to look for SWT.BORDER and replace it with something else, like SWT.NONE
It could be where you create the table or the container.

Is it possible to add a border to the pivot groupings (or possibly just column groupings) on ag-grid? My groups are quite wide and I'm using material theme which makes it hard to read the grid clearly.
There doesn't seem to be any api exposed or css class to use?
e.g. sum (gold) or whatever column is on the left of the group would have border-left css to demark from the previous group.

Try to add cellClass and headerClass.
Add CSS to this class and also to ag-header-group-cell-with-group.

I'm using smartgwt ListGrid. The problem appears when it's empty, and if i manually set columns width, i can get some columns clipped in the view port and there is no horizontal scrolling so I can't access them.
But if I add an empty record, the scrollbar appears. I've fixed it by adding
setAutoFitData(Autofit.HORIZONTAL);
setAutoFitMaxColumns(3000);
setOverflow(Overflow.AUTO);
But I need to add some freezed columns to my listGrid. I'd like to use setFrozen(true) method, but its not compatible with setAutoFitData(Autofit.HORIZONTAL);
What I need is
to show a scrollbar if columns are out of the view port, even when list grid is empty.
some first columns must be frozen.
Everything works with the base List Grid with no additional options. But when i set
setShowEmptyMessage(false);
my scrollbar disappears.
Kind of workaround i've found:
setShowEmptyMessage(true);
setEmptyMessage(" ");
This is about wrapping text in a table item, I know table item doesn't support WRAP. But I am looking at possibility of embedding a StyledText inside the tableitem. Is it possible?
You can't do it like that, but there is a facility called owner draw that allows you to paint tree and table items however you like.

In Crystal Reports 2011 when I create a new text field and add it in design view the height is 0.13. Other instances of Crystal I've seen always create these fields at a height of 0.16. How do I set my instance of Crystal to create fields at this height?
you have to change the hight or width your self, and if you want to change more than one textboxes, select them and then right click on them move cursor on "align" and select your choice or you can choose same size for all.
I don't know if you can change the default height of a text object. I've never tried this before but you might be able to use CSS to accomplish this.
I'm not exactly sure how you got into this situation - I've looked all over and can't find a way to modify the default height of a text object in the version you're using (and it is 0.16 inches for my install).
Assuming reinstalling is out of the question (this would be drastic but is probably your best bet), an alternative workaround may be to create an empty text object at the top of a report, manually set it to the correct height, then copy-pasting it anywhere you want a new one instead of using the insert menu.
Is there a way to change the space between a spark form item and its content(textinput, conbobox)? I already set to 0 the "gap" property of the form, but still there is a lot of vertical space left between the form inputs.
Set the gap to -14 to get no gap between the items
<s:Form>
<s:layout>
<s:FormLayout gap="-14"/>
</s:layout>
<s:FormItem .....>
</s:Form>
The spark skin for formItem has left/right variables set based on "columns." I.e. left="column1:10" means the element is 10 pixels to the right of column 1.
So, create the skin, reduce those numbers in the "content" column area and check it.
Reducing all those numbers and the gap should tighten, along with setting the gap in form layout.
If you want to change the vertical gap between each Spark Form Item, create a custom skin based on FormSkin and change the gap property FormLayout.
If you want to change the horizontal gap between skin parts (labelDisplay, indicatorDisplay, helpContentGroup, ...), you need to create a custom skin based on FormItemSkin and change the ConstraintColumn values
I changed in my custom FormItem skin as followed, and it worked for me:
before:
<s:ConstraintRow id="row1" baseline="maxAscent:10" height="100%"/>
after:
<s:ConstraintRow id="row1" baseline="maxAscent:0" height="100%"/>
There are no paddingLeft, paddingRight etc. properties in FormItemLayout yet.
