A contents page displaying images - ms-word

I am creating a contents page in Word. For some reason, objects that I have pasted in from Visio are being shown in the page listing...
Why is this?
And more importantly, how can I stop this from happening?

OK, easy as. Just had the images set as a heading.

Images not showing in tinMCE

I had set up tiny MCE and it was saving text to the database with an image tag. When I went to edit the content, I would see the image correctly in the editor. All of a sudden, when I go to edit, I see the actual image tag and not the content.
I bet this happens after that content is retrieved from the backend/database, doesn't? It's because your content is htmlencoded on some stage. You need to find that place and rethink the logic around it, so that html tags reach the editor intact.

iText - how to move down the current contents in a pdf

I have a requirement to add few lines at the top of an existing PDF.
I have done this using a PdfReader and a PdfStamper.
In order to have more space in the page header area, i need to move down the current contents by 1 or 2 lines.
Below is from the forum. but it doesn't solve the issue.
How to insert content in the middle of a page in a PDF using IText
Any suggestions?
-i can not upload the pdf or the image of the pdf because am a new user
Do I interpret your question correctly if I assume that you really want to move down everything on the page and add some lines above?
You can do that by changing the media box (and crop box and what other boxes might be explicitly defined for your page) and then add the few lines on top the same way you already do it now.
You can access those boxes in the respective page dictionary which you can retrieve via the PdfReader. Look up the PDF specification for details on those boxes.
Or do I interpret you incorrectly and you only want to move down some text while keeping existing headers and footers in place? In that case Alexis' answer to the other question you refer to still holds.

UIWebView and Word Document Changes Formatting

Ok, so I have an iPhone application that displays Word documents for certain terms and all. My problem is that the text seems to be "wrapped" or something else like that. This causes the words to not line up, which ultimately makes a lot of my Word documents contain incorrect information
I am inserting the .doc files into a UIWebView which is set for "scale pages to fit". Also, when I zoom in it still stays the same way. This is happening in both the simulator and the actual iPhone.
All help is appreciated!
Below are two screenshots. This first one is of the iPhone app:
This second one is of the Word document and how the text should really look:
Save the doc as an HTML and use the HTML in your app. That should resolve the issue.

How the Text readjusts when an image appears?

In some news applications when it loads it shows a list of articles. When we click on an article, it goes to its detailed page. In the detailed page 1st there will be only the text related to the article. But suddenly an image comes(related to the article) on the top left corner and the text re-aligns itself to contain the image.
Wht are they doing here? Are they still using UILabel? If i am just adding a UIImageView inside a UILabel, the text will be be adjusted even before the image appears. How can I replicate this myself?
I might be wrong, but i think what they are doing probably similar to the following steps:
User clicks on Article
Article description is being loaded, async download of image is being initiated
once the article description is downloaded the detailsview gets added on top of the navigationstack and appears.
user reads the text....
at some point the download of the image finishes, the viewcontroller gets notified in some way and does a re-layout of the detailsview.
the re-layouting (or however you want to call it) will do two things (probably in an animated fashion)
As I'm not aware how to wrap text around images within a UILabel (keen to get ahold of that knowlegde tough) I would suggest, that what they do is simply creating a second label with the Imageview in place and then fading the first one (text only) out while fading the second one (containing text and image) at the same time..
not sure if this helps you, but I hope so.
cheers

Use UIWebView, the readjustment you are talking about is html basic property, download your content in html format or make a html file programmatic once you download text and image and show them in UIWebView.

SSRS Exported PDF and TIF report render differently than in the report viewer

I'm seeing basically the same issue described here
I have a table that starts in the middle of the first page, and, depending on the size of the table, it should wrap onto the next page. This behaves fine when using the viewer, but when exporting to a pdf or tif image, things are displayed differently. Instead of starting on the first page and wrapping onto the second, it moves the entire table to start on the second page, leaving lots of ugly white-space on the first page. I've made sure that KeepTogether is false on the table, and there is no header/footer on the page (so it can't extend beyond the page's width).
Has anyone seen this problem, or know of a solution/troubleshooting steps?
Thanks!
The problem was fixed by re-creating the report(s) in question using the Business Intelligence Development Studio 2008 (instead of 2005). Don't know what was different in the re-created report, but it works properly now.
