Only menu shows on MODX Manager screen after fresh installation - content-management-system

After fresh installation CMF MODX Revo 2.2.2 into server, I got blank screen only with menu, and empty content
I change compress_css and copress_js values to 0, but no changes
What can be matter with it?

Clear the cache [delete the files on disk, don't just click the clear cache menu item] if still no-go check both your modx error log & the server error logs, if nothing still turn up your debugging to 3 or 4 & check again.

Completely blank TYPO3 login page (after update)

I am starting the process of updating TYPO3 to higher versions (from the base 6.2.X version). The process of updating to version 7.6.X was ok. Being logged in 6.2 version, I switched to version 7.6 and updated elements in InstalTool, plugins etc. The problem appears when I log out. After entering my login address, I have a blank page - white page without any code. I can log into InstallTool but unfortunately not to BE.
The [FE] page works fine after the update. Any ideas what went wrong or where is the problem?
first: blank page normally means: there is an error but all error information was disabled.
If you just changed the source it might be a mismatch between cache and source: clear all caches in Install Tool.
Also your first step should be look into the server log.
If that does not give enough hints enable all debugging and error information in the Install Tool.
If that still gives no clue: disable all extensions (remove from PackageStates.php and don't forget to clear caches afterwards, maybe manually too)

Mbstring extension installation on godaddy server

Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding(). How to install
mbstring extension installation on godaddy server?
I have found the solution. We need to complete the following steps:
1.Login to your server WHM as root
2.Search EasyApache or go to Software menu after that EasyApache
3. you can see there are some profile. click on customize profile default profile.
4. click on continue to second step
5. On “Step 2,” click on “Exhaustive Options”
6. Under PHP, check the checkbox for MBString
7. Proceed with Build & Compile Process
Make sure you wait for the build to complete.
I'm updating this thread as I went through a painful day trying to get this resolved. The mbstring extension is used by Magento (I needed it for 1.9) and without it installed, the checkout process will fail, with the shopping cart failing to take the user to the 'Thanks for your order screen' (although the order is sometimes created on the back-end successfully). It was also creating an issue when hitting the 'Send Email' button on the Admin panel on an Order, producing a 500 error.
In my log files, I was seeing the following error:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding() in
/home/yoursite/public_html/lib/Pelago/Emogrifier.php on line 556
Searching for this error gave results that suggested I needed to enable the mbstring extension on the server, but with a GoDaddy hosted virtual server, I ran into a wall of frustration with the package not being found via the php install search, and their tech support unable to assist. The above solution worked, although I will clarify the instructions below for the current WHM panel (Jan 2019):
Login to your server WHM as root.
Search EasyApache or go to the Software menu on the left and select 'EasyApache 4'.
You will see a list of profiles and at the top of the list, 'Currently Installed Packages'. Select the 'Customize' button.
Select the 'PHP Extensions' link or keep hitting 'Next' until you reach the page.
In the search box, type 'string', you will see 'php56-php-mbstring' and 'php70-php-mbstring'; move the grey slider on the right to install each.
Continue to the 'Review' tab. Here you can simply hit 'Provision' to install the extension. You can also save these options as a custom profile if you'd like.
After the build has completed, the extension should be available on all your domains.
Hopefully this will save someone some time trying to figure this out!

Stuck on Plugins Check

I tried to install without realising an older plugin than what was already installed. It errored with the install however now I cant get past the check plugins screen to fix my issue.
Reload just reloads the page, update does nothing. If I click Upgrade I get this:
I cant do anything else. If I try to reload Moodle with just http://moodle (Internal URL) I get redirected straight back to this page. If I clear my cookies I get taken to the login page, but after logging in it is straight back to the "Plugins Check" page again.
Do you have administrative access to the server running Moodle?
You should be able to download the version of the plugin you need and unzip it directly into Moodle's directory structure, and then log back in to the Web UI.
In my moodle installation, this is here:
/var/www/html/moodle/course/format/singleactivity
You should be able to get the correct files from the installation package you used. Just make a backup of the existing folder in your Moodle environment, move it to a safe location, and drop the complete folder for the new version in its place. Then reload the web client.

Eclipse 3.5 Cache Problem

I am using eclipse 3.5 with google app engine + spring framework to develop application. My problem is when I change the code and build the project, the new code doesn't come in to effect. I even deleted the old file but at runtime, the old version gets display in the browser. Why?
Your description is not explicit, so following are my assumptions:
You are changing jsp/js or view related files
You have Google app engine plugin for eclipse to deploy the code
Following might be one of the reasons:
Your view files are cached in the browser, so try deleting the browser cache
Google app engine might have cached your files, so try deleting the temp folder
Eclipse IDE wouldn't have deployed your changed code, so check the timestamp, if it still shows the old timestamp, then find out how to configure eclipse to detect your changes.
I found 3 workarounds for similar issue (changes to a servlet (.java file) were not taking effect).
Before editing the .java file, stop the application. It seems that if you edit it while running, the issue occurs, even if you edit it, stop then re-start.
Delete items in Temp folder e.g, (C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp), then stop and re-start the app.
I think the culprit folder in the Temp folder is this:Jetty_127_0_0_1_8888_war__.g0qk00
Right click in in the console area and select 'Remove All Terminated'. Sometimes that reveals there are other instances running, which need to be stopped by clicking the terminate button.
I got the similar issue and the problem was due to not stopping the running server.
What i was doing was running the server, editing the java file, saving and again running the server. This created two instances of the server running and when checking into the browsers the old code was executed from the first instances.
So, the solution is terminate and relaunch the server, and your new changes will be in effect.

how to fix source not found message for coldfusion eclipse remote debugging?

I have eclipse with coldfusion builder installed, and I set up the various screens - RDS and coldfusion debug settings in preferences, project properties and set the server up there.
It seems like it is almost working, the RDS screens work, and I can start debugging, but when it hits my breakpoint I get a blank source page that says 'Source not found.' with a button for 'Edit source lookup path'.
If I click the button, it shows my workspace tree, not much I can do with that, but I can add a path so I tried adding a path to the root of my project on the web server. When I ok that, for an instant I see some code appear in the source viewer, then it disappears and I have the source not found message again. If I click edit, my path is not there... ??
I am not sure what fixed it exactly, but I just went through all the different settings screens and re-defined all the debugging paths, etc. and it finally started working.
