Can't install iOS app with XCode (no developer account) - ios5

I'm trying to build Mini vMac just for my iPad. As I don't have a developer account, I created a false certificate, but I'm still unable to build it for the iPad or to archive it in an IPA, because I don't have a provisional certificate for that app (I have one of a TestFlight beta, but obviously it doesn't works). What should I do?
Computer: iMac 21'5'' Late 2009, OS X 10.7.4 Lion, XCode 4.3.2
iDevice: iPad 2 32 GB Wi-Fi, iOS 5.0.1 (with Absinthe jailbreak)

You going to have to either buy a developer license or jailbreak your iPad. Those are really your only two options.

App not installing on iPhone 5s

I have a MVC web app, which is distributed through ad hoc for iPhone using Xcode 4.5. The Xcode iPhone simulator is 6.1. The app installs fine on previous versions of iPhones, but not installing on iPhone 5s.
Can someone tell me, how I can make adhoc distribution for latest iPhone. Should I update Xcode or any other workaround?
No there is not need to use the iOS 7 SDK, all iOS 7 devices are capable of running iOS 6 apps.
Just make sure that you have the correct UDID, if the UDID start with FFFFF the UDID is not corrcet. Since iOS 7 the developers can not access the UDID any more. Thus all the UDID app are not longer working.
You should use iTunes to retrieve the UDID of the device.
Well Yes, Updation is required. This is because iPhone 5S has iOS 7.0. You will need to update your xcode 4.5 to xcode 5 which is required for running ios 7.0 . Xcode 4.5 will not create builds for ios 7.0 . Therefore you need to install a version of xcode that supports iOS 7.0 and later.
I was having a similar issue, and I found my answer here: Xcode 4.5 - can't install developer .ipa files via iTunes
Using the accepted answer there, my issues for installing on the new 5S went away. I just had to rebuild the distribution profile, make a new .ipa file with it and try again. Strange error, but the answer worked for me.

Why can Xcode build & run on the device but not Profile on device?

Build & run works fine on my iPhone 5 with Xcode 4.5.2.
But when I try to Profile on the device I get this error:
Code Sign error: Provisioning profile 'CG82BAAB-492F-5973-322F-F185257EA26B'
can't be found
I tried to unset and re-set the developer team provisioning profile in the Debug code signing section of the build settings but this didn't solve the issue.
This is a project I dragged over to my new Mountain Lion mac from an old Snow Leopard Mac. It's a old iPhone 4 project which I am trying to migrate to iPhone 5.

It is likely that you did not transfer your developer certificates and profiles from the old computer. Check in Xcode organizer what you have installed there... also, you can sync from Xcode with your developer account, so you can avoid manually copying the profiles over, but you need to install the developer certificates at least...

Verizon iPhone Provisioning Problems

I upgraded to XCode 4 and a Verizon iPhone 4. After installing I am unable to sign and run anything on device. Yes I HAVE added it to the portal (using organizer and on the website). I've downloaded the certificates, and everything checks out.
I get the message: XCode cannot run using the selected device. No provisioned iOS devices are available. Connect an iOS device or choose an iOS simulator as the destination.
Could this be due to the Verizon iphone being 4.2.8 and not 4.3?
EDIT: Also, my ipad runs fine on it. Both devices show up in organizer, have the team provisioning certificates, and show up in the portal, etc...
-d
The fact that the iPhone is from Verizon has absolutely nothing to do with provisioning.
Try removing all of the certificates that are installed on the device currently, and try again. If the device is included in the certificates, then you should be good to go. Also ensure that you are running a supported iOS version on the device as set in your Xcode project.
The foremost thing you'll want to do is make sure your app's deployment target isn't iOS 4.3 and is instead something lower. (Base SDK should remain as Latest iOS.)

Developing for an ipod touch 4g

I am a software engineering student and i signed up for an embedded apple development class
I have Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.3 and i have an ipod touch 4g
I understand that the 4g runs ios sdk 4.1 and i am aware to use certain features i would need that sdk. In addition, i would need atleast Mac OS X Leopard 10.6.2 to use ios sdk 4.1
At this time i cannot upgrade the OS.
Can i still download an older IOS sdk, and develop for the ipod touch 4g?
what would be the latest sdk i could use? I just need something to get me through the class!
Thank you
You might be able to create an Ad Hoc distribution build using the old 3.1.3 SDK for Leopard, and then install the app on a 4th gen iPod Touch using the latest iTunes plus your Ad Hoc provision profile.
the latest sdk that runs with leopard would be 3.1.3. If you install that one (http://developer.apple.com/ios/download.action?path=/iphone/iphone_sdk_3.1.3__final/iphone_sdk_3.1.3_with_xcode_3.1.4__leopard__9m2809a.dmg) you probably run into problems when installing the app on the phone because the old organizer does not work with newer devices. Since the 4g ipod may not be downgraded either, you're only (free, besides upgrading to snow leopard) option would be to compile the app, then ask a friend with snow leopard to install it on your ipod. Maybe your university will offer some macs to use for that, since not everyone has a mac?

Can I deploy app to iphone 3gs iOS 4 from XCode_3.1.4_iPhone_SDK_3.1.2 directly

Currently I installed XCode_3.1.4_iPhone_SDK_3.1.2 on Mac OSX 10.5.8, and I plan to buy an iphone 3gs 8G iOS 4 in the following days. I heard from friends that iOS 4 can't be downgraded to 3.x!
My question is, can XCode_3.1.4_iPhone_SDK_3.1.2 deploy app to iOS 4 device via iDP? Should I upgrade system to 10.6.4 and install Xcode_3.2.3_iOS_SDK_4.0.2?
For jailbreak iOS 4, does ldid still work well? Or some other tools for code signing?
I didn't try with iOS 4 yet, so could you give me some help, thanks in advance.

Im not sure if this has been changed, but you used to be able (when xcode was around 3.1ish) still be able to install onto 2.2.1 even though xcode didnt recognize it. Just had to build the app with deploy targetted to 2.2.1 and then get the .app and move it to itunes, then sync your itunes with the phone and it worked.
