I am following the example to pratice binding stored procedure in Entity Framework.
However the complex field is grayed out, I am unable to go further.
Please see the image.
Thanks for help.
.NET3.5 only support EF3.5, but this version doesn't support complex type, so the button is disabled. .NET4.0 or later will be fine.

I have a lot of checkboxes and their names are generated with the help of the resource id they are associated with, which in turn is fetched from the database.
$mform->addElement('checkbox', 'incres'.$coursename.$sec->section.$record3->instance);
The second parameter is the name of the checkbox.
I need to know how to mark this checkbox as checked.I have a feeling this can be done by the setDefault method but I cant figure out how. I tried
$mform->setDefault('reqdres'.$coursename.$sec->section.$record3->instance,1);
But that doesnt work. I dont wish to use Javascript or the advancecheckbox element for this since that will require me doing a lot of changes in other dependant modules
Did you try using the Advanced Check Box? $mform->setDefault() should work with this.
I create a site with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager). I have a page type as property-page. The property-page have a field type "Number of event in a page". I want to modify the number of event for all property page.
How to do that?
Thank you & kind regards,
There is no mass-update feature in AEM. Ask your developers for support. They either write you a little tool. Or they could generate a lot of curl-requests based on a query. Another option would be the AEM Groovy Console (https://github.com/OlsonDigital/aem-groovy-console). There you or your developers could write a script.
Finally you can do it one by one manually. Take a look into crx/de, which might be a little bit faster.
If you want to bulk update the page property you may use OTB Bulk Editor feature. Here is a video explaining how to use this.
There is a similar ACS tool for updating sling:resourceType property. You can extend and customize this tool if not happy with OTB feature.
I am using sap.ui.model.odata.v2.ODataModel and at a certain point of time in my app I would like to look into what changes have been made (to be more precise, how many entityset entries have been created). It's quite easy to do when accessing the mChangedEntities property of the model. However this is not "allowed" by the project guidelines. Has somebody an idea how to tackle this issue? I don't quite understand why there is a hasPendingChanges() function, but not a getPendingChanges() function.
Thanks!
Please check the source code. The ODataModel, implementing OData Version 2.0, has a method getPendingChanges, at least in UI5 version 1.34.8. As it has no JSDoc comments it is not shown in the documentation.
For a new extension in Typo3 i need to know how the functionality seen in this picture can be realised in TCA and how to implement it? It would be great to know how it is called. Icant find it anywhere and i think this is a core functionality because the same feature is used in TemplaVoila too. The current installed Typo3 Version is 4.5 (LTS). I have no idea how to start. Please help me.
best regards
flow
The feature is called Inline Relational Record Editing, short IRRE. The TCA-type is "inline".
Is it possible to refresh only one entity in entity framework designer? Every time I refresh model from database, it refreshes all entities. The problem is that this mechanism doesn't recognize properly primary keys in views, so I have to correct it manually. Am I missing something?
No, you're not missing anything. When you update model using the GUI designer, the entire storage schema is regenerated. At least, that's how it works in Entity Framework 1.
I can't tell you if you can or can't do it, but I have one clue how to figure it out.
http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/EdmGen2
EdmGen2 contains source code and dll probably with functionalities from usual EdmGen.
Unfortunately I didn't have time to investigate this further. Hope this helps.
