Difficulties with installing test app on my ios device - iphone

I am trying to install a version of my app on my device.
I have an ".ipa" file and a provisioning file that verified on my device.
When I am syncing my IOS device in Windows it says that I have a problem
"entitlements are not valid".
When pressing for more info it says I must update the device software, and I don't want to do so.
How to fix it?

I have problem with that web because of data in entitlements.plist of my project.
the problem was with the certificate . i made the whole process of creating provisioning file and .ipa file .and changed it to distributing and not developer.
after that it works smoothly

Not able to install ipa into iphone

When I try to install ipa into the iphone using itunes,it stuck on "Installing" and application from iphone disappears suddenly.I have read realated QAs but didn't get any help.I have tried installing ipa after changing my bundle Id ,I have cofigured provision profile correctly still not able to install.I am not getting what is the problem. Please help !
Assuming that you have completed all of the steps setting up an ad hoc provisioning profile as listed here, you should now have an .ipa file exported to disk. Instead of using iTunes, try using Xcode. Goto Xcode > Window > Devices and choose your iPhone. Scroll down to the bottom of the app list and press the + button. Choose your .ipa file and click Open. The app will now be installed to your iPhone. Hope this helped :)
To install your IPA into the iphone, your iPhone UDID should must have listed in the device list of your developer account.
IPA should be made through AdHoc Developer profile Or AdHoc Distribution Profile.
Your Phone should have the same or above as deployment target (i.e IOS Version).
Check these steps and try again, hope you will get success.
Thanks

Unable to install ipa file using testflight or diwali in xcode 4.5.1 and ios 5.1

Hy.
I have developed an IOS app in version 5.1 and xcode 4.5.1. After completing the app when I try to run it in the device using ad hoc distribution, the app is unable to install on device.
It shows popup "Unable to download application. ' could not be downloaded at this time'".
I have added distribution and developer certificate and it does not give any such alert when installing directly from the xcode but the problem occurs only when installing app from the testflight.
Could someone tell me where I m making a mistake.
You must Archive the application using your AdHoc Distribution Cert, then from the Archives tab of the Organizer click Distribute and again select your AdHoc cert. The .ipa that this produces is what must be uploaded to TestFlight and you must authorize your device through TestFlight. Here's some tutorials that will help:
Create and Upload an IPA to TestFlight
Setting up Permissions for Distribution on TestFlight
If your IPA and permissions are all correct then according to this article the error could be related to one of many other factors:
Device storage is full
The provisioning profile is a developer provisioning profile
The ad hoc distribution provisioning profile is corrupted and the device is having an issue with it.
The device was restored from a backup and is causing a conflict for over-the-air distribution
There was a network timeout
See the referenced article for details on how to get a console log on the device. If you still are unable to resolve the issue then edit your question and include the relevant parts of the console log from the device.
Go to Product -> Edit Schema -> Build Configuration
Change Debug to Release and try it.

Cannot install .ipa created from Xcode 4.5

I'm developing my application in xcode 4.5 and i want to create the .ipa file to transfer the project in to client's device. But unfortunately I can't install it in device. Giving a pop up says "Cannot install".
i have created the ipa and installed it from xcode 4.0.2. So i know the process. I thinks i have given correct provisionning profile too. Is there any reason or anyone can give me a tutorial on this in xcode 4.5?
Did you build the app with an ad-hoc distribution profile that includes the client's device UDID?
Alteratively, use Testflight which works extremely well for this sort of thing.
for replies. i found the solution in entitlements.plist file thr is a property called
get-task-allow. i had to set it to NO.
Tht wat happed with xcode 4.5.
Thank you
Assuming the ipa is correct, is the client's device running an OS supported by the ipa (check deployment target of your project)?
What do you see in the Xcode Organizer console for the device as you perform the install? There is likely an error message in the console that will give you a clue.
Are there any unsafe characters in the .ipa filename? I had a case once where iTunes was installing the app and changing the .ipa filename to be the app name. Well, the app name had a '/' in it, and that doesn't work so well in filenames. The console showed me the error as it occurred.
If you aren't installing with the device connected to Xcode, you can use the iPhone Configuration Utility to watch/record the console on a remote machine.

Getting error of installing .Ipa file in to my iPad

I developed an app and created a .Ipa file and sync it with my iPad1 but the problem is, I am trying to sync the same app in to my other iPad2 using iTunes.
But it is not syncing and showing an error that the App can't be installed and installation failed!!!.
There are several reasons for failed to instal in device.
1.check your provisioning profile contains device UDID of ipad2 added or not.
2.check your ipa file created properly or not.if you feel you created properly then delete the app from your first device which is having same app and instal the ipa again and check once. Then you come to know your ipa creation is correct.
3.one more reason might have take place is ipa may break accidentally.
you can check these steps:-
Make sure that your iPad2 device ID is added to your provision profile you have created in developer portal.
Make sure that your bundle id in your plist is match with the your provisioning profile bundle ID you have choose to build your project.
Second thing you can check if the provision profile is installed on your device on not.

Sandeep

iPhone 4 SDK "Ad Hoc" install error

I recently upgraded my iPhone SDK to 4. But now when I create an "Ad Hoc" build for my customer and send him the zipped app and "ad hoc" mobile provisioning file he gets the following dialogue when attempting to install the app using iTunes 9.
"A provisioning profile named 'embedded.mobileprovision" already exists on this computer. Do you want to replace it?"
I've been able to reproduce this with my own system so it is not a local configuration issue.
The interesting thing is my "ad hoc" builds worked fine before the upgrade and this dialogue is not occurring when I drag my provisioning file to iTunes, but occurs when the app is dragged into iTunes.
Also, when we click "replace" nothing happens. The app is not installed into iTunes and we do not see the app in the apps folder or on the devices when we sync.
I have my project set to build using iPhone 4 as the Base SDK and the deployment target is 3.0 (I've also tried 3.1.3).
I do not have any problems installing this app using my development profile.
I've been programming iPhone apps for over a year now and thought I had a handle on this crazy provisioning profile crap, but now this new SDK is giving me new problems to waste my time on.
Any help would be appreciated.
Try renaming the profile, or deleting the old embedded.mobileprovision (it should be named by GUID once installed). Or just use iPhone Configuration Utility, which is much less of a pain than iTunes.
I got it to work by selecting the "Application requires iPhone environment" option in my -info.plist file.
