i have an Samsung Smart TV app and i have a problem with mouse. the problem: i have two scenes. in first scene are show ten news. on pressing enter it shows the second scene with detailed news and a youtube video. when i do that with remote control, everything works just fine. when i do the same with mouse the youtube player is not working. i rechecked 100 times that on click i execute the same commands as on enter. the console dont give me any errors, and everything is executing exept the youtube player. i testet it on emulator and on TV and the problem is the same. so my question is: can i call a function on click that triggers (simulates) a remote control key? thanks!
SOLUTION
to trigger a remote control key use the function:
sf.scene.get('Main').handleKeyDown(sf.key.ENTER);
but this doesnt solve my problem.
i solved it by changing youtube video player version from 3 to 2
ex: http://www.youtube.com/apiplayer?&enablejsapi=1&version=2
it seems tha the TV have some issues with newer versions of flash..

I started programming with the Google Cardboard v0.6 about a year ago. I really nailed what I was trying to do with this software. The problem is, my software requires a toggle between full screen and stereo screen modes which I have applied a canvas button for. It is also supposed to start in full screen with an option of stereo mode.
I have three questions:
With the new SDK, is it possible to script a stereo to full screen toggle routine?
I noticed they make the GoogleVR as a fixed SDK mount within the build settings. I read something along the lines of widget controls within the Android SDK but I'm not to savvy with the way Android Studio reads the APK and how to modify it. Honestly, I'm running Visual Studio with a Source Control library in TFS so I want to keep it out of Android Studio as much as possible.
I also read there is supposed to be a full screen toggle button programmed directly into the SDK but it just doesn't pop up on my screen. Perhaps there's a method of making this button pop up that will save the day?
Even if the button exists, if there is a toggle button I'd love to have the script reference so I can apply it On Start in order to start in full screen mode.
Will toggling full screen reactivate screen canvases?
I know the new GoogleVR does not allow canvases because they have a RenderTexture problem. I'm not too concerned because I'm going to make the Toggle button freeze if no control device is registered to the bluetooth, and if there is I have a button on the control device that returns to full screen (or hopefully with that magical screen button that should exist). Whether I can toggle between the two settings is not going to make a difference if it still doesn't allow for Canvases in full screen.
My greatest frustration right now is with the discontinuation of the scripts on build. I've been using the GVRViewer and such which work just like the V0.6 software, but it appears to completely negate these scripts on build and force the build to use the SDK. I've read in the release notes that at the moment they have no intention of returning to the v0.6 platform and even recommend rolling it back to v0.6 if this is the case, but honestly - if we are forced to use an antiquated version of the software, how long will it be before it gets phased out? In my opinion based on my current observations, this feels a lot like a "one step forward, two steps back" situation.
Is it just me, or are the emulated touch events built into the Chrome dev tools really wonky? When I emulate touch events and view a site in any of the given device configurations, the touch events are way off the target. For example, I click a button, and my cursor will move to focus on a input field a hundred or so pixels from the top of where I clicked. It's really frustrating.
Has anyone else experienced this? My version of chrome:
Google Chrome 38.0.2125.101 (Official Build 290379) m
I tried touch events on a few other sites and it seems to work fine. So it must be something to do with the site I'm working on.
I have an issue where I have a hidden toolbar the drops down with social buttons on it, the VK.com like button being one of them.
It refuses to show itself in FireFox. All other browsers work fine however when the bar pulls down there is nothing there in FF. Does Vkontakte have a force load / render like Facebook and Google do where you can programmatically trigger the render of the like button.
It may be because you have launched video on vkontakte with firefox zoom something other than 1:1. This may result in distorted video player pop-up window size. it is a bitch to fix, since reinstalling firefox and flash player don't do any good.
Launching vk.com videos with different zoom rates, and finally 1:1, seems to fix it.
This may be unrelated to your problem.
I use Contao 3 an the youtube content element, which basically is the mediaelement.js Plugin.
As soon as I add an preview image, which is seen, before we click on the video to start playing.
On desktop computers it works fine.
On mobile phones / Tablets (Iphone, Ipad) i doesn't work. We can't press play or start the video. As soon as I remove the picture, it works.
Are there any known problems with this?
thx
I am currently using iwebkit and phonegap together. Once everything is compiled and tested on an idevice, I can click a video link and get it to play. It play full screen but it uses the ios web video player (the one that doesn't have the "done" button" and the top and has a bar that spans the bottom of the screen. I can then press the full screen button to have it use the regular ios media player but when i click done from that, it doesn't take me back to the part of the app before the video, it just takes me to the full screen video in the web player. I hope someone can help me solve this and I hope I was able to describe my problem in a clear way. I've spent 2 hours searching and have come up with nothing.
I'm having the same problem. iOS 4.3.x introduced this problem as far as I can tell. There's a few comments about it on Apple's developer site but so far I haven't found any solution. Part of the problem seems to be Phonegap because I experience the exact same thing you describe when running the compiled app. However, if I simply browse to the same HTML pages it seems to work fine. Note - I changed from directly linking to video files to using the HTML5 tag. Using the tag works better than direct linking in Phonegap -- the videos still open in the player but when you click the Done button it returns to where it was. Keep in mind that if you do this the video will be on the inline in the page and paused but when you click the play button it opens in the player. The only problem I've found with this solution is that it won't rotate when you change from portrait to landscape when running in the phonegap app but it does rotate when browsing to the video in mobile safari. Not sure if any of that helps. I would be interested in what you've been able to work out since you posted.
