Since 2 weeks I am stuck with the social plugin commentbox. I managed to install the "Hike - Free Tab Builder" on my FB Fanpage and inserted there a HTML code with text and I also included a cuple of boxes there. In order to moderate those boxes I made an App (commentbox) to get an AppID and I did everything asked in the fb.developers tutorial. I put the asked IDs as meta command in the "head" section and put anything else right behind the "body" tag.
It never manages to get connected to the Moderation Tool and I cannot say whats wrong. I am working on this for 2 weeks now, I asked and searched around for answers but without succes. Maybe anyone here can give the answer.
Here is some part of the code I wrote:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta property="fb:admins" content="{10000113xxxxxxx}"/>
<meta property="fb:app_id" content="{20368994xxxxxxx}"/>

you have to define og:url, og:title and og:img.
http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug is helpfull tool. Just write your url and let it say something to you.

I am trying to use the Send to Messenger plugin and can't use it locally. I check some questions about hidden button and all of them was resolved after deploy.
But I need to use this plugin locally - need to get auth-callback from local .html(from chrome-extension options)
Span of "Send to Messenger plugin button" hidden if it calls locally, I try to overflow: visible - it works fine(but I think it is wrong). Can somebody guide how to use this button?
And if I checked once this button - just try to use it - it doesn't shows again with checked state is it right? or I break something?

I have Facebook Comments on internal page - you have to login to see it. I configured it according to docs (I believe). Comments widget is displayed. I can add comments from different accounts and I can see them but there is no Moderation Tool button and comments are not shown on https://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments/ I tried 3 configurations. None worked for me. What am I doing wrong?
Configuration 1
In head
<meta property="fb:admins" content="facebook admins"/>
After opening body tag
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<script>
/* <![CDATA[ */
(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/pl_PL/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.6";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
/* ]]> */
</script>
Later on page
<div class="fb-comments" data-href="url to this specific article" data-width="100%"></div>
Configuration 2
In head
<meta property="fb:app_id" content="facebook app id"/>
After opening body tag
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<script>
/* <![CDATA[ */
(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/pl_PL/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.6&appId=facebook app id";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
/* ]]> */
</script>
Later on page
<div class="fb-comments" data-href="url to this specific article" data-width="100%"></div>
Configuration 3 (mix of both)
In head
<meta property="fb:app_id" content="facebook app id"/>
<meta property="fb:admins" content="facebook admins"/>
After opening body tag
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<script>
/* <![CDATA[ */
(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;

Common app settings
Comments widget on my page when I (admin) am logged in
I had same problem. I also tried all combination.
Go to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
Paste the url.
The problem will be shown in "Warnings That Should Be Fixed"
I had a problem with app_id.
Also, you can specify either fb:app_id or fb:admins, but not both.
I have project in wordpress with magazine theme. I noticed the facebook comment box was not displaying on single.php page. when I viewed through 'View Page Source' the code was present even space was left for comment box between the article and advertisement. I checked css for display:none or any other thing that might have caused but no solution yet.
I am getting that div as
where data-href is coming as "./" Please help.
Working sample:
<html xmlns:fb="http://ogp.me/ns/fb#">
<head>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<script>(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));</script>
<fb:comments href="http://stackoverflow.com/" numposts="5" colorscheme="light"></fb:comments>
</body>
</html>
I've added a facebook comment box on my website, but its only loading around 40% of the time. The other 60% nothing happens. I've tried to do some troubleshooting and came up with that, the times its not loading the height of the box is set to 0px, but when its loading it says 160px, as its supposed to.
Here is all the code related to the commentbox.
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml">
The following is right after the body tag.
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<script>
window.fbAsyncInit = function() {
FB.init({
appId : '389788207743820', // App ID
channelUrl : 'file:///C:\Users\ts10027\Documents\Mina webbplatser\recensionsida\channel.html', // Channel File
status : true, // check login status
cookie : true, // enable cookies to allow the server to access the session
xfbml : true // parse XFBML
});
};
(function(d){
var js, id = 'facebook-jssdk', ref = d.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) {return;}
js = d.createElement('script'); js.id = id; js.async = true;
js.src = "http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js";
ref.parentNode.insertBefore(js, ref);
}(document));
</script>
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<script>(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/sv_SE/all.js#xfbml=1&appId=389788207743820";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));</script>
and this is placed where I want my box
<div class="fb-comments" data-href="http://www.stadskoll.nu/restaurang/harrys.php" data-num-posts="2" data-width="565px" data-height="160"></div>
Thanks in advance
If that's the code you're actually using, there are a few things you need to change:
channelUrl : 'file:///C:\Users\ts10027\Documents\Mina webbplatser\recensionsida\channel.html', // Channel File
This has to be on a public URL, just move the file somewhere on the server where it can be accessed by anybody.
Next, you have to and you're including the JS SDK two times? You might want to double check that: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/javascript/
I've got a facebook iframe page with the following (cut out irrelevant) code. I can't seem to become moderator of the comments. Any idea where i messed up?

First off, you shouldn't place your profile id inside those brackets. You should provide it without:
<meta property="fb:admins" content="737418775" />
Secondly, a requirement from Facebook has to be met; the facebook user who should get moderator priviliges needs to 'Like' your application.
Propably needless to say, but make sure you are logged in to Facebook when looking at your comment plugin.
