I need some help regarding the ios App, i want to know that how facebook app is rendering its pages, is it UIWebview or something else, is they are just rendering the HTML5 page by using UIwebview or its Custom UIViews. So if they are Custom UIViews how they manage the auto populating data mechanism.
Is there anybody, who can enlighten the in and outs of facebook ios app.
Thanks
The older version of the facebook application uses UIWebView to display content. According to the new version, it now uses native views and gets the data from facebook via an API.

I developed a GWT app and hosted in Google app-spot, i would like to know is there any way i can convert/transfer it into a Facebook apps?
Or is it possible for to develop Facebook apps on GWT?
Be frank to tell me what you think and know about these things..
Thanks..
Yes it is Possible .
Java script is meant for Browser and ultimately your GWT code will convert into javascript .
Your javascript code will dispaly on the facebook apps entry point page "Canvas Page ".
So it is possible
For a quick example of facebook app

I developed a app which has lot of UIWebView displaying HTML data. One of a Sr. app developer suggested me not to use HTML, instead asked me to use API's. Can one let me know how to use it? and any tutorials or suggestions to use it?
You Can Use 3rd Part API which Will be Better For Creating Application. Also Apple will not accept it if its only webviews Bundled as an App (See the Apple app store Review Guidelines 2.12 ). I can Advise you to use any One between Corona, Phonegap And Titanium. If you dont know what is best for you then Have a look at prviously Answered Post: Comparison between Corona, Phonegap, Titanium

I've been creating iPhone applications for the past couple of months, and one question has always crossed my mind: how does one go about creating an app like Instagram or some other application that lets users sign up and log in? I know how to do this with a website (SQL), but how do you do it on the iPhone? General answers are perfectly fine. Thanks!
The simplest approach: use UIWebView to wrap the website.
If you prefer using native UI, you can use JSON to communicate with the server for user login part.

I understand there is a developer portal for Google+, but I'm not sure how I can use this stuff to implement a +1 button within my iOS app. I want something simple, just like how ShareKit does it with facebook and twitter, but for Google+. How would I get started with this?
Currently Google+ only provides a JavaScript based +1 button. If you would like to +1 URLs from within your iOS app you should star this feature request.
EDIT: The issue is marked as "Fixed" now, but with a solution that probably won't help for iOS apps.
Update: Google now has a Google+ Platform for iOS.

Embed a browser inside the application.
When the user navigates to a desired page, he pushes a button to "set" this page.
Now, the application gets the URL of this page!
How hard is this to do on the Android and iPhone?
The iPhone has the UIWebView class
see Here
I'm not sure about Android though.
On Android, yes it's possible. See WebView#getUrl.
You can try 'WebView' in android.
Refer to WebView.
You may use this.
webview.loadDataWithBaseURL(baseUrl-add some fake url here, data, mimeType, encoding, failUrl-add some fake url here);
