I saw a post to this very issue and the author have resolved it my edit the png splash file. However,
in my case I did not made any changes to the png file, and yet, i ran into this error with install4j.

Up to release 4.2.7, install4j included a JAR file
[install4j installation directory]/lib/jai-imageio.jar
This JAR file contains an ancient implementation of javax.imageio and was a leftover from times when that API was not part of the JRE (prior to Java 1.3).
Just delete that JAR file and the problem will most likely go away.

According to the log file, your Eclipse installation was broken:
Registry Directory not available: c:\Program Files\eclipse\jee-latest-released\eclipse\p2\org.eclipse.equinox.p2.engine\profileRegistry.
The missing p2 profile prevented the installation and uninstallation of plugins (the profile is needed to compute whether something can be installed and if so, which so-called installation units of which version have to be installed).
Make sure that the Eclipse installation directory is writable (in Windows everything in c:\Program Files\ is not writable for a normal user by default) and do not delete the p2 directory.
When the installation is that broken, the only solution is to install Eclipse again. It might be that importing of existing plugins from the old installation via File > Import: Install > From existing Installation will not work either in this case.
Reinstalling Eclipse solves the problem.
Worth noting that the workspaces are still usable but You'll need to reinstall all plugins.

Go in the distribution folder and try to open the zip file to see if it has been corrupted. The directory should be something like this :
~/.gradle/wrapper/dists/gradle-3.4.1-bin/hash.../gradle-3.4.1-bin.zip
If the zip file is corrupted, try downloading the file manually in put it in the same folder and then restart eclipse.
If it still not working, try removing all the Gradle cache by removing the .gradle folder in your home and project directory.
I am using eclipse mars and seem to be able to use JPA in a stand alone app (no glassfish/jboss) by just using these libraries:
eclipselink.jar
javax.persistence_2.1.0.v201304241213.jar
org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.jpql_2.5.2.v20140319-9ad6abd.jar
But when I build and deploy my app I keep getting the below errors. Would my version of java matter? I'm using 1.6.0 24 32 bit on my production board and my IDE is a 64 bit system. The above libraries were included when I created a test project in NetBeans so I was able to use JPA in NetBeans fine as well. Am I missing additional libraries or perhaps something is wrong with my deployment? any advise is greatly appreciated.

I have been able to solve this. Its probably a bug from the developers of RapidClipse. this is what i did:
The UI Libraries to display the designer and the pallette does not download when you create the project, so you will have to download the following:
xdev-server-aa
xdev-server-ui
from maven repository and include them in your library path. then you right click the project select maven and update project. Restart the RapidClipse IDE

It seems, unable to find the jar at runtime. How can I add this jar file to the target platform.
In your Run Configurations (Run Menu, Run Configrations) under Java Applications you will see your run configuration, there is a Classpath tab where you can add libararies.
