I created iPhone app that requires the user to register and log in before open the app.
This application has been rejected from App Store and they gave me this message:
We found that your app requires customers to register with personal
information to access non-account-based features, which is not in
compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.
Apps cannot require user registration prior to allowing access to app
features and content that are not associated specifically to the
user. User registration that requires the sharing of personal
information must be optional or tied to account-specific
functionality. Additionally, the requested information must be
relevant to the features.
I payed all my efforts and time in this app. So, my question is: Is there is any Solution to make the App Store accept my app without changing anything in its structure ??
Thanks in Advance.

You have two options:
Make the neccessary changes to the app.
Contact Apple, and explain why your application needs the user to register, and that the application is indeed in compliance with the rules.
Option 2 works best if the application actually conforms to the rules, but depending on what the app actually does, there might be a grey area. Unfortunately the outcome of this option can also be closely correlated to communication skills - so prepare your arguments before calling or mailing Apple.

I have an app that allow people to store any type of file and transfer files between computer and iphone through wifi. After few days of review Apple reject my app because
22.4: Apps that enable illegal file sharing will be rejected
I was wondering that how come I can still find a lot of app that do the same way as my app do and got passed?
Apple allow developer to turn on iTunes file sharing, isn't this the same concept as transfer file through wifi? the different is wireless.
I am not able to control user to not transfer illegal file.
Is there any way to get pass this issue?
You can appeal the decision. Or perhaps there would be a way to appease Apple, maybe by warning users against distributing copyright material before opening the connection?
Bottom line is, the only way to know for sure is to ask Apple. For better or worse, they are the gatekeepers; we can only speculate.
No, Apple is a dictatorship. But Google isn't better at all. The app will get online but gets removed after a competitor sent an DMCA notice (without a valid reason, just wild accusations). Ask the mupen64plus-ae developer

I'm planning to crate a service that among other things creates an iPhone app based on a template and submits it to the AppStore almost without human intervention.
Is that allowed by apple?
Some similar startups now require users to use their own developers account (which costs $100 and will not be paid by my users).
In principle I don't see why not, as regular developers are allowed to submit their customer's apps. Am I missing something?
It is definitely not allowed by apple. As that would be using a single developer account to submit apps, from someone different that the person that purchased the account (you in this case).
Besides if they can submit anything, if someone submits something inappropriate under your name, it will be your problem not theirs.
Furthermore I am pretty sure your clients, would want their name in the AppStore for their app and not yours.
This is definitely not allowed by Apple. Even if it was, the apps would be under your name so any in app purchase would be put into your bank account (cha-ching $$$)

Quick question for anyone who is well informed on how the Apple iOS App review process works:
If I have an app that requires a login to use from a site that is not released yet, how does Apple test the application for crashes and such? Is this against the guidelines?
The thing is even when the site launches, which will be a day after the date I request the app to release by, only members of a certain community will be able to use it...
TLDR: How does Apple test iOS apps if it is login secured and they cannot obtain a login?
My understanding is that any sites etc that an app is dependant upon must be active at the time of submission in order for apple to correctly review the application - certainly on the apps I've submitted that refer to some kind of website I've always had to have something present and functioning at the appropriate web address.
If apple can't review the app they will fail it - without knowing your app it's difficult to be more specific - but without the login do you believe they can review it? If not you will likely fail.
Can the provider of the website provide a dumbed down version that functions just enough to allow the app to function correctly for app submission before releasing the full site the day after approval? Perhaps the provider can also set up a temporary redirection to another test only site which they can remove the day after launch?

I have not submitted an application yet, however am wondering if you guys could share your knowledge and experience on the subject and tell me if my plans will work or not.
The app I have created has a registration process in the app itself that updates the applications cookie which keeps it registered. Thus in its initial stages the application will be locked and the user will then have to register on my site which will be a subscription based payment to keep the phone working.
Do you think apple will allow this? if not what suitable alternative are available.
I think you should be fine as long as you follow the review tips:
Providing Additional Info for the App Review Process
If your application requires specific settings, user registrations or account information prior to submission to the App Store, be sure to include that info in the field "Demo Account - Full Access" on iTunes Connect. This is a text field visible only to the App Review team, so the information entered in that field will not be viewable on iTunes to the general public. You can also include general instructions or other relevant information about your application which you think would be useful for the review process.

There are a lot of useful apps already available in the app store and I don't want to reinvent them just because i think they'd be useful to be part of my app. So I'm wondering whether it is possible to sell them from within my app, whereby the user can purchase them without leaving the comfy confines of my app. Any idea about this? Or will the user always have to head over to the App Store to get their hands on them?
On a side note, it would be nice if i could get some commission for selling them within my app (can't imagine Apple would allow that though).
No this is not possible. Best you can do is redirect the user to the app store app from within your app to the app the user wants more info on.
That's a question for Apple. You might check out Apple's In App Purchase Programming Guide.
