Flexible Content Element: section element inside another section element - typo3

I am creating an FCE for my article content.
I created sections so that I can create every article sub element multiple times in a page and every thing works fine except an image slider.
Here is my mapping :
The difference between other elements and image slider is it contains a section element inside it.
When I add and save content to image slider it simply disappear.
Rendering output shows html elements till the subsection 'Content set'.
How can I get the slider to work?

You have bad maping set:
Image slider -> div (outer)
Content set -> div (inner)
Container -> li (outer)
Image -> img (outer)

Visio: Creating Automatic Numbered Label

I'm currently working on creating a new stencil for several components I use in Visio and I'm stuck at the point of providing proper labels. If you use a resistor from Visio stencil it automatically generates a label "R1" (for first resistor) and "Rk" for the kth resistor. How can I do something similar for my own stencil ?
1- I need to generate a label "ABCD #" (# number automatically generated based on instance count)
2- How can I position the location of this field?
PS:
1- Visio components have a custom defined field which allows for this (which I don't know how to create)
2- For capacitor for example the shapesheet shows an interesting entry
=SETF(GetRef(User.Label),"""C""&"&ThePage!User.AccumulatorCount)&SETF(GetRef(ThePage!User.AccumulatorCount),ThePage!User.AccumulatorCount+1)
which supposedly is how the count and name are generated (I'm not sure how the AccumulatorCount is defined it differs from element to element).
Thank You!
The EventDrop ShapeSheet cells for various electrical shapes have formulas similar to the one you have discovered:
SETF(GetRef(User.Label),"""C""&"&ThePage!User.AccumulatorCount)&SETF(GetRef(ThePage!User.AccumulatorCount),ThePage!User.AccumulatorCount+1)
The ShapeSheet for the page has a cell: User.AccumulatorCount for capacitors. Other User cells will be added as other shapes are dropped. You can set up your own system by adding a User cell to the page, say: User.Widget. Then you place the "Widget" version of the "SETF" formula into your own shapes.
You can create user cells by:
Open the ShapeSheet for the Page (right-click blank area of page, Show ShapeSheet)
Right-click in ShapeSheet and choose Add Section
Add a User-defined cells section
Find the User-defined cells section and similarly add rows to it via
right-clicking
You change the row names by typing over the red, row-name text on the left.
You enter values and formulas in the cells as you would in Excel.
You can toggle viewing formulas vs. viewing values by pressing F5
while in the ShapeSheet.
You have to make the User cell in the page first, so that your shape can reference it. Once your shape references the page cell, you can drag your shape into a stencil, and it will "drag the page User cell along too". So now, you can drop your Widget shape into a new document, and it will create the page User cell on the fly.
The system is basic and fragile. The count only goes up, and never down. If you have shapes with 1, 2, 3, 4 and you delete 1 and 2, the next shape will still be 5.

Highlight an entire UICollectionView section in Swift

This collection has many items within many sections. I am trying to place a border around each section and further highlight it.
Trail 1:
Using headers and footers I can draw lines (header has top,left,right; footer has left,right,bottom) which look like frame ends. But I can't get them to highlight on item select.
(I don't want to make this too complex by listing my code. I think there are tutorials to create collection headers and footers. But in summary: I created a UICollectionReuseableView class for each, registered them and applied a referenceSize for each of them.)
Trial2:
I can highlight each item, in that section (using a color with alpha overlay), when any item is selected.
(Again in summary: I used a for loop within the didSelectItemAt method.)
If each section was always one row of items, then I could use the item height, but thats not always the case - especially if rotated.
How can I place a border around each section then highlight on item selection?

Writing to absolute position while using direct content

I am creating a pdf-document. First I add a table and some Texts to the PdfWriter. Now I want to add a costum template (including images and texts): I have to get the direct Content, which ist a layer over the PdfWriter-layer:
over= PdfWriter.getDirectContent();
I want to set the template exactly after the content on PdfWriter-layer.
I can use
writer.getVerticalPosition(true)
for my calculation of y-Position on PdfWriter-layer.
This way I can add the costum template to the upper layer at that position. Now back to PdfWriter-layer how can I set the position of PdfWriter-layer after the tempalte on over-layer?!
Can somebody help?
Thanks in advance.
Mixing content added with document.add() and direct content us always a delicate operation. You need to know the height of the custom template and then add some white space that matches that height. However: what are you going to do if the content of the custom template doesn't match the page?
I would advise against your plans, and I would recommend another approach.
I am assuming that your custom template is a PdfTemplate object. In that case, you can wrap this object inside an Image object, and use document.add() to add the template.
See for instance: Changing Font on PDF Rotated Text
In this example, we create a PdfTemplate with a bar code and some text:
PdfTemplate template = canvas.createTemplate(rect.getWidth(), rect.getHeight() + 10);
ColumnText.showTextAligned(template, Element.ALIGN_LEFT,
new Phrase("DARK GRAY", regular), 0, rect.getHeight() + 2, 0);
barcode.placeBarcode(template, BaseColor.BLACK, BaseColor.BLACK);
We want to add this template to a document with document.add(), so we wrap the template inside an Image object:
Image image = Image.getInstance(template);
We can now add this image to the document:
document.add(image);
Afterwards, we can add extra content:
Paragraph p3 = new Paragraph("SMALL", regular);
p3.setAlignment(Element.ALIGN_CENTER);
document.add(p3);
That content is added under the template at the right position. You don't need to worry anymore about getting the Y position with getVerticalPosition() and you don't need to worry about setting the Y position after adding the template. If the template doesn't fit on the current page, it will automatically be moved to the next page.
Important: Maybe you are worried about the resolution of your template. You shouldn't be. If the template consists of vector data, wrapping that data inside an Image object won't change it into raster data. The vector data will be preserved. This is important in the bar code example, because you don't want the quality of your bar code to deteriorate by making it a raster image.

Pdf generation for dynamic contents

i am generating pdf report in my app,When the page contents exceeds over one page how to populate the contents,actually in this situation i tried to create one more new page by giving CGContextBeginPage();
but it is showing error like
: CGContextEndPage: Don't nest calls to this function -- the results will not be what you expect.
**** : CGContextBeginPage: Don't nest calls to this function -- the results will not be what you expect.
Can somebody tell me how to create pdf during this kind of situation.
You should have a variable that stores your current Y position as you are laying out content, incrementing this value by the height of the content (and any padding).
Each time you want to render some text or image etc, check that you have enough space on the page before rendering and if not end the current page and begin a new one. Check the space by looking at the current Y position, adding the content height to it and comparing to your page rect.
The errors you are getting are due to you nesting PDF page calls, the OS expects the following approach...
CGContextBeginPage
... render content for page 1
CGContentEndPage
CGContextBeginPage
... render content page 2
CGContentEndPage
However your code is most likely nesting these as follows...
CGContextBeginPage
... render content for page 1
CGContextBeginPage
... render content for page 2
CGContextEndPage
CGContextEndPage

jquery .attr('alt','logo').css('display','none') not working !

I have the three following lines and the first two line gets all the images on the document and hides all, but then when I add the third line shows all the images.
What I need its to hide only the images with the attribute alt=minimize and alt=maximize but for some reason hides all the images.
$('img').attr('alt', 'minimize').css("display","none");
$('img').attr('alt', 'maximize').css("display","none");
$('img').attr('alt', 'logo').css("display","inline");
I am using IE7, but it should be compatible with IE6 and IE8.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
I'm thinking you are not using the attr function correctly, might you be looking for the attribute equals selector?:
$('img[alt=minimize]').css("display","none");
What you did with your code was,
Select all images
Change their alt attribute to 'minimize'
Hide them
Select all images
Change their alt attribute to 'maximize'
Hide them
Select all images
Change their alt attribute to 'logo'
Hide them
what you do: you take every img in document and set alt to logo and then set display: inline;.
Note, that attr('alt',string) doesn't filter all images to those with alt=string, but rather sets alt attribute to string on all images.
What you want to use is this:
$('img[alt="minimize"]').css...
$('img[alt="maximize"]').css...
$('img[alt="logo"]').css...
In the call $('img').attr('alt', 'logo').css("display","inline"); the "attr" doesen't filter the set of dom elements You catch with $("img").
If you want to hide everithing but not the image with the attribute 'alt' = 'logo' I think You can:
give it an Id of logo and then calling: $("img").not("#logo").hide()
from the jquery website:
hide():
The matched elements will be hidden
immediately, with no animation. This
is roughly equivalent to calling
.css('display', 'none'), except that
the value of the display property is
saved in jQuery's data cache so that
display can later be restored to its
initial value. If an element has a
display value of inline, then is
hidden and shown, it will once again
be displayed inline.
and
attr( attributeName )
Returns: String
Description: Get the value of an
attribute for the first element in the
set of matched elements.
If instead you want to hide all the maximize and minimize images (both share the "imize" part of the attribute):
$(parentElement).find("img[#attr $= '*imize']").hide()
OP is referring to
http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-values/#attr
alt I think is simply a string type, not "logo" whatever that is, that is not a data type.
try that. in fact, you can look up alt in the html5 img
http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/the-img-element.html#the-img-element
http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/the-img-element.html#attr-img-alt
http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/the-img-element.html#alt
(in order of reference clicking, last one is the target)
even if this isn't the exact answer (it should be), it should be a step in the right direction.
I am actually trying myself to figure out how to reference a css property within css with attr() - it's mentioned within the top URL. if I had my druthers, I could be using css calc() along with it, but that's draft. maybe I can get it to work...
