Prestashop categories as dropdown in Header Menu - categories

This question is regarding Prestashop.
I want to show the category listing in my custom header menu. I do not want to add any third party module to show the same. Please let me know which code snippet I should paste in the header menu section?
Thanks in advance,

the module I believe is called "Top Menu". You can add different categories and different CMS pages as you wish. Check it out! PrestaShop 1.5.2

PrestaShop 1.5 add this feature as default.

TYPO3: tx_news add system category selection to a link

I'd need custom buttons (with image) for the various categories, and I'm trying to figure out if I can add the selection to the link for a header or in the RTE with the wizard.
So I link to the list page that should display only the entries tagged with the specific system category that was clicked, like with a category-menu directly as plugin -> category menu
In TYPO3 8 the linkHandler configuration has been improved alot. It allows you to define your own tabs in the link wizards for selecting any records. You may use this function to sys_categories inside the linkwizard and then configure the url to make it work with tx_news.
Check out the new feature here: https://usetypo3.com/linkhandler.html
EDIT: I guess this feature was already available in TYPO3 7 LTS but I'm not sure its not inside the documentation... not even in the docs of 8 LTS...

DNN Extensions fail to load DNN 7.4.2

My first DNN site. Please go easy.
I'm trying to load some extensions (Blog & a PayPal extension).
While the admin console show's they're installed I can't see them or start them. They are not evident on any of the menus.
The theme creators say its not their problem.
Any suggestions for a Newby on how to get the extensions working?
thanks
You actually need to go to the page where you want a module to live and then use the Modules admin menu entry to Add New Module to the page. Click the menu entry, and you can drag and drop a module onto the page.
Yes.
They're listed and "In Use" is recorded OS "No"
OK - here's a screenshot of the Admin Page in Edit Mode whilst loggedon as a Super User after an Extension Module has been added to the page.
As you can see:
The extensions are not showing
Instead the area on the page shows 'Banner Options' even though no banners were inserted.
You are on the Admin page, and it certainly looks like you have added two modules to the bottom of the page. One of them seems to be the Banners module, as the screenshot shows that mousing over the edit pencil icon shows the Banner Options.
My guess is that this isn't close to what you want to do.
I think that what you want to do is to add a module or modules to some other pages.
So, go to the page to which you want to add a module. Then, click or mouseover the Modules menu item in the admin menu. Select a module and add it to the page.
Does that make more sense?

How to Change joomla logo to new logo and how to add suggestion forms in joomla 1.5.22

i added new logo in media manager the name is joomla_logo_black.png and also i changed in defalt temple css file but it's not working, and also i want to add a suggestion form in my web site it's shoud contain title descreption and email id, please help, thanks in advance
I don't really understand what kind of joomla logo you want to replace! If there is a joomla logo in your template you can change it with the tamplate.css for sure !
If you didn't find the logo, or the image, maybe there is another css file near the template.css file.
The image you replaced might be cached in your browser. If you right click on the image you want to replace you can usually open the image in another tab. Look at it in a new tab then refresh the page an see if it updates. If not, at least you will have the URL of the image you are replacing.
As for adding forms, there are several components for creating forms in Joomla. My favorite is ChronoForms, but there are several very highly rated and reviewed options.

How to apply own template on Joomla? [duplicate]

Joomla is pretty good CMS but, is there any way to create custom template which will be joomla supportable ?
If I understand your question you want to convert an existing template that isn't even a Joomla template. If that is the case I found it very hard to do, of course depending on where the template was coming from. I ended up taking a template for Joomla 1.5 and starting from that. (Although the ja_Purity is a messy one when it comes to the CSS, looking back I would should have started with another one....)
Yes, you can do it. Copy default template which comes with Joomla and customize it, and you can install it now.

Follow the SiteGround tutorial.
1st result for Google: joomla change template.
If you mean a page-specific template, then this is answered here: http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_assign_a_template_to_a_specific_page%3F
It describes the following steps:
In Joomla! there is a default
template, but you can assign other
templates to specific "pages" that are
defined by menu links.
To assign a template to a page, you
must first make sure that there is a
direct menu link to the page.
Go to Extensions>>Template Manager
Select the Template and click the edit icon (or click the template name)
In the left column, change "None" to "Select from List."
Select the links you want to apply the template to.
Save
Note that you cannot assign the
default template to individual pages.
