Crystal reports installation in Eclipse - eclipse

I am very new to Crystal Reports but I am familiar with Eclipse as I have made many apps on Android with it. Now I want to generate Crystal Reports in Eclipse Helios (SDK 3.6.2). So for the installation I referred to this link. I followed the path for the manual download and successfully downloaded the SAP Crystal Reports, Version for Eclipse – Manual Installation package. But I am lost from there.
I followed the steps given in this pdf file and I tried to go on: help->Install new software.... But on the final installation it gives the following error:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software currently installed: Crystal Reports for Eclipse 2.0.13.r1733 (com.businessobjects.crystalreports.integration.eclipse.feature.feature.group 2.0.13.r1733)
Missing requirement: Crystal Reports Runtime Support 12.2.214.r1733 (com.businessobjects.crystalreports.integration.eclipse.facet.shared 12.2.214.r1733) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.jst.common.frameworks 0.0.0' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: Crystal Reports for Eclipse 2.0.13.r1733 (com.businessobjects.crystalreports.integration.eclipse.feature.feature.group 2.0.13.r1733)
To: com.businessobjects.crystalreports.integration.eclipse.facet.shared [12.2.214.r1733]
I searched for this error (via Google and stackoverflow) but could not find any solution. Can any one help me?

I am using Eclipse 32-bit, and I manually installed Crystal Reports package from http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-29757. It works for me.

This is probably because you are running eclipse 64-bit? If so, try to install the plug-in manually. Download the manual installation package from here: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-29757
Unzip the files and copy them to eclipse folder then crystal report plug-in should work.

Try with this http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/crystalreportsforeclipse/2_0/update_site/ it works for me ;)
Thank you, after all, I realise it works only on 32 bits ...Hum yes I know.

Unable to install the Rule Designer on Eclipse for Business Rules service on Bluemix?

I followed steps given at stackoverflow and bluemix.
I am facing below issue while installing the Rule Designer plug-in for Eclipse, to work with the Business Rules service on Bluemix:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could
not be found.

Any help!!
#panther, please ensure that the directory where Eclipse Juno 4.2.2 is installed has write permissions. I have seen this error before when Eclipse was installed in the "Program Files" directory in Windows and it did not have write permissions. Try installing Eclipse at root level (e.g. C:) and follow the steps in the documentation again.
Do not forget to chose the right Eclipse version, fitting with the number of bits of your Java version! (I had 64 but it seemed to be 32, with all same errors as mentioned!)

Unable to load class CompilationUnitEditor

I was using eclipse indigo on opensuse 11.4 and also i use BIRT Report SDK for reporting, since after i updated my OS to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with eclipse Mars i was not able to open any birt report, it open file only in XML format. Then i installed one plugin http://download.eclipse.org/birt/update-site/4.4 (suggested by friend) and able to work on BIRT Report, but right after i installed that specified plugin i am not able to open any java file it gives me below error :
Plug-in org.eclipse.jdt.ui was unable to load class org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.javaeditor.CompilationUnitEditor.
Even after uninstalling plugin which i installed for Birt SDK report it doesnt work, i tried searching on google and deleted VariablesAndConstants.dat from workspace/./metdata... folder but still it doesn't help.
Any Suggestions?

IBM worklight 5 - Unable to install plug-in

I'm trying to run the IBM Worklight plugin in eclipse classic, but I'm running into some errors:
First of all, I want to update eclipse, but it seems to take over 20 hours to do so. Is there another possibility to update to the latest software? I need to do this in order to install ibm worklight.
Secondly, I'm receiving this errorcode:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: Eclipse 4.2 Dependencies 1.0.0.v20120615_1503 (com.ibm.rational.dependency.eclipse42.feature.group 1.0.0.v20120615_1503)
I'm loading the IBM worklight from a .zip file. Hopefully I have given you enough information to help me.
Update 1: I also tried using eclipse EE for IDE. Then I got this error:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: AJAX Web Tools 1.0.0.v20120731_1538 (com.ibm.wdt.webtools.ajax.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.v20120731_1538)
Are you loading the developer version of Worklight or a licensed. I would suggest using the Eclipse marketplace and searching for the Worklight plug in. Typically this is a smoother way of installing the plug in. Where did you get the zip files of the plug in? If it was directly from IBM, make sure it is the newest version which is the 5.0.5.1 (crazy versions, I know) If not, let me know.
IBM Worklight supports Eclipse versions 4.2, 3.7, and 3.6. For the Marketplace client use Juno, Indigo or Helios Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers. (taken from: http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/ibm-worklight-developer-edition#.UTTUNoeH7zs).
If you use other versions of eclipse you'll probably face installation problems.
Also check the "Contact all update sites during install to find required software" option in "Install new software" wizard.
Regarding upgrading eclipse as far as I know there is no way to upgrade eclipse to the next version, you must download and install desired eclipse version.

GNATBENCH 2.6 Install on Eclipse -- Missing File . . .

Tried installing the new academic version of GNATBENCH on Eclipse (Helios) today.
But it seems to find that a file is missing.
(I've notified AdaCore but I'd expect that it'll take a week for them to reply.)
Here's what she wrote :
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: GNATbench Integration with WindRiver Workbench 2.6.0.20111210 (com.adacore.gnatbench.windriver.feature.group 2.6.0.20111210)
Missing requirement: GNATbench Integration with WindRiver Workbench 2.6.0.20111210 (com.adacore.gnatbench.windriver.feature.group 2.6.0.20111210) requires 'com.windriver.ide.ui 3.1.0' but it could not be found
Anyone else with similar issue ?
You didn't follow the Installation Instructions in the README.txt.
Please select the Eclipse Plugin only, not the WindRiver Workbench Plugin.

Problem updating Eclipse Ganymede

I am predominately a .NET developer so forgive me if I am missing something obvious. I use Eclipse Ganymede (3.4.0) for Blackberry development.
I have Blackberry JDE Plugin 4.3.0.8 installed and would like to install 4.5.0. I try using Help -> Software Updates to get it but get the following error:
"Cannot launch the Update UI. This installation has not been configured properly for Software Updates".
Any ideas on how to fix this? Failing that any ideas how to install 4.5.0 without using the Update facility in eclipse? I have installed the 4.5.0 component back but it has not put it into eclipse, just installed files in c:\Program Files\Research In Motion.
I'd rather not do a fresh installation of eclipse!
Download them manually here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/javaappdev/javaeclipseplug.jsp
The first idea that comes to mind is that Eclipse doesn't know where to look for updates.
Go to Help->Install New Software (not update)
Click on Available Software Sites
There you can Add, Enable/Disable software sites(repositories)
Just like Jamie said, download Component pack from Blackberry site, and install them with Help->Software Updates->Available Software->Add Site->Archive
UPDATE And talking about the error, see
Getting the message “Cannot start the update ui…” when trying to run the update UI in Eclipse
Thanks for the links guys but I ended up downloading a fresh copy from the website, the archive that I had must have been corrupt somehow because I tried using it again and had the same issue.
