Is there any way by which I can add a UISlider to control the brightness on UIImagePickerController camera?
The only way to do something like this is to not use UIImagePickerController and to create your own camera view. You take the feed from the camera and render it to the view directly. You can then edit the feed by changing the brightness etc...
There are a few really good videos from WWDC 2012 (I think session 510 and 511) that will explain how to do all of this well. It's actually fairly straight forward.
You can then add a button which acts as the camera button and saves the image.

In the app that I am creating, I need to remove the background of the image except for the people or person in the image. I have searched many links, but i didn't find any relevant information .
For eg : Girl should be visible excluding the nature background.
Can anyone please provide me some information regarding this as whether is it possible ?
Thanks in advance
Note:1. If you have Another UIImageView with backgroundImage then use bellow logic
When you want to Cropped Image at that time just hide that backgroundImage with this bellow code..
[yourBackgroundImage setHidden:YES];
write this code before you write code of Cropped image with bezierPath, After if you want to display that backGroundImage Again then Display it with bellow code..
[yourBackgroundImage setHidden:NO];
2. If you want to Remove inbuilt BackgroundImage then use OpenCV..
see some example here may be you get something which is helpful to you... This Link
i hope this answer helpful to you..

I am just starting conceptually for a meme-generator (writing texts on images)
conceptually like this
But more for an iPhone. what could be the way to achieve this and Draw some text on image
and return an image with text.
I need a 1000 foot view of how it will be done. conceptually?
Conceptually:
create a UIView
add UIImageView(s) to UIView
add UITextView(s) to UIView
create ImageRepresentaion Image from UIView

hello guys im just starting out at developing a ios application and came across iAd, admob and such networks . i was wondering how do they open a banner(i think thats a view) above the core applications.if you could point me in a right direction it would be of much help
Thanks in advance!
You are right it is a view subclass. It can be declared in your xib file or created programmatically. Apple even has a view specifically for iAd. You can "show" or "hide" the view based on if you have an ad to fill it. You can also do all sorts of animations to slide it in. There are several good tutorials out their that explain how to implement it. Ray Wenderlich is always a good source...

You can even create a view that shows AdMob ads in place of the iAd view if it's not filled.

I have a yellow UIView, I hope that its height is always maintained at 80 , but it will become a long screen of 4.0 , I want it to be fixed, so for that what should we do ?
Thank you!!
Why does not UIButton With the larger screen and larger it
An autosizing mask as shown (no resizing in the vertical or horizontal directions) will ensure that the UIView does not resize as the screen size changes.
These settings can be found in the size inspector tab within utilities. You should see the autosizing options under the 'View' section.

need to draw line touchBegan, touchMove function instead of drawRect function on class derivated from UIView Subclass
Apple's documentation does an excellent job of introducing all the concepts and details you'll need. Please read first, and ask specific questions if you have trouble understanding something.
Subclass a UIView. Implement a drawRect in that custom subclass. Call setNeedsDisplay on a visible instance of that class. Use CG or Core Graphics commands to stroke a path. See Apple's Core Graphics reference documents on developer.apple.com.
