Well i want to allow Facebook login on my site. I have created the API and user's can login to the website. But for the first time a pop up comes to the users asking for Permission.
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/concepts/login/login-architecture/
Can i just skip the users from this permission page and directly logs them in.
Thanks
Any person must accept the basic permission for getting their Facebook profile data for use in your website

I have an application that uses Facebook login module.
I tried to get manage_page and publish_page permissions but Facebook is not giving these permission without review. So, I tried to create test user and gave him above permissions.
Then logged into Facebook with test user. Facebook is not letting test user to create facebook page.
I need to access user's pages but cannot do because I cannot create at the first place.
I created an app for my clients. They uses this app from their website to post on their Facebook Page (and as the Facebook Page).
they use a Facebook Login button to connect to Facebook (with an account that can publish post on the page) from their website,
they complete a form
when the form is submitted, an article is created on the website AND a post is created on the FaceBook Page.
I ask for publish_action permission and manage_page permission when the user connects.
Those permissions need a review from Facebook, so I ask for it but the FB team says that I "only need those permissions when I use a public-facing Login". Is that not the case?
Currently, my app only work when I connect with the account that created the app.
You do need those permissions, but if the App is for your client only you donĀ“t need to get them reviewed. Just add your client as Admin, Developer or Tester of your App and the permissions will work for him without review.
how can i login my website using facebook credentials that too seamlessly , when i'm already logged in my facebook account in the same session or in another session. i wanna do this things in my website , like things happening with rotten tomatoes.
so far i can use fb account to login in my website using facebook connect .
please help me ....any suggestion will be welcomed.
You need to have a facebook app, then in your site use the facebook js sdk.
You always have different sessions per site, you'll need to make a session for yours, you don't use the facebook session, just the sdk.
When the user loads your page you can use the FB.getLoginStatus to check if the user is logged into facebook and is authenticated with your app, if so then you get the needed user data and can then log the user into your site.
If the user is not logged into facebook, or hasn't authorized your app then you can use the FB.login method to log the user in, when the user comes back from that process you should have the data you need in order to register/log him into your site.
I want to connect my web application with the facebook business page. Each time I add a new product to the page I want to post it on facebook wall. I have a facebook application and the page owner username and password. Can I automatically authenticate with the user, pass to facebook and send the post request from server side only? Usually I am logged in with another facebook account when I add products. Also I would like to post when another page user add a product.
You can post to Facebook as a facebook page using the manage_pages permission. You'd need to obtain this permission from a user who is an administrator of the page. There are a few steps to the process, here is a basic summary:
Get an access token from a user who is an administrator of the page
and has granted "manage_pages" to your app. read about authentication
here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/authentication/
using that access token, make a graph request to
https://graph.facebook.com/me/accounts?access_token=USER_AUTH_TOKEN
You'll get a json response containing all the pages the user administrates, containing their name, category, facebook id, and an auth token - this is what you'll need to post to that page
you can then use this access token to post to the specific page using
https://graph.facebook.com/PAGE_ID/feed?message=POST_MESSAGE&access_token=AUTH_TOKEN&method=post
I just found this blog post which gives you a pretty good explanation

It sounds like you need the 'offline_access' extended permission.
It is scheduled to be deprecated. Take a look at the following link for more details:
Deprecation of Offline Access Permission
I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on this, but I do NOT recommend trying to login through Facebook's user interface and perform POST requests/HTML scraping on behalf of the user. That procedure would grant you far more functionality than is possible through the Graph API; I don't think Facebook would approve of this.
we are working on a web site that getting users' friends and users' feeds. Users can register via facebook connect. but we want to take user's feeds at any time. is that possible ? can we take feed information from facebook without user login.
You will have to take the permission from user for offline_access, only then you can get his feeds.
This would be very bad. There are users that have their feed on public, but generally, the user has to give explicit confirmation to allow you to use their feed.
