ITEM name must be unique - intuit-partner-platform

Using Intuit Anywhere QuickBooks Desktop, I am creating items that added without errors to the cloud. Using an ItemQuery, Looking up the item works fine. Here is my XML request and response:
http://pastebin.com/4YaJbgZg
When I run the Intuit Sync Manager, my newly added items enter error state. These items do not exist in QuickBooks, before I run the sync manager. After entering error state, this query will make them appear:
ItemQuery iq = new ItemQuery();
iq.ErroredObjectsOnly = true;
var bItems = iq.ExecuteQuery<Item>(dataServices.ServiceContext);
How can I find out why these items enter error state? I created a log file using the Intuit Sync Manager, however, I see no error messages about these items. Here is my log:
http://pastebin.com/QhpKHvWF

QBD Item Create is in beta and is not supported in v2.
QBD Supported Objects and Operations
Support for Item Create will not be added until V3 is released. For more information about V3, please see the V3 webinar recording.

Creating public action does not add to sequence

I am a new user following this tutorial provided by IBM.
I am up to this step:
For Cloudant Instance, select Input your own credentials and fill in the following fields with the credentials information captured for your cloudant service: Username, Password, Host and Database = guestbook and click Add and then Save.
After following the instruction to 'Add', I am returned to the sequence view (with the list of actions representing the sequence I'm working on).
Expected: The newly created public action w/ binding should appear in the list.
Instead: The newly created public action is not in the list. There is no evidence of it having been created at all. There is no option to 'save'.
Am I doing something wrong? This seems like an enormous bug.
Attempted solutions (unsuccessful):
Log out and back in.
Create new Cloudant service credentials.
Enter service credentials manually vs via dropdown.
Create action in a named package rather than default package.
Create new Cloudant service credentials, selecting a specific service ID.
PS
Attempted to create support ticket but needed to upgrade account by adding credit card. Filled in card information. Card rejected: "Error: Could not place order. Unable to verify the credit card. Declined due to Risk management". I use this card successfully all the time.
In actions UI, selected a sequence, added an action to the sequence, 'reset' sequence to discard changes, began to add yet another action, cancelled that new action, returned to sequence view and the previously created action that I had discarded was there. Ie seems like some backend / database propagation issues on IBM's end?
The steps have been updated in https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/tutorials?topic=solution-tutorials-serverless-api-webapp#sequence-of-actions-to-save-the-guestbook-entry.
To create the new Cloudant binding:
Set Name to binding-for-guestbook.
Set Instance to Input your own credentials.
Set Username, Password, Host and IAM API Key from the values found in the Cloudant credentials for-guestbook created earlier.
Set Database to guestbook.
Set whiskoverwriteLabel to true.

How to modify System.CreatedBy field in VSTS via API call

Apologies if this is very naive question. New to VSTS...
We are thinking to use VSTS for our daily project works. Currently, we are on old TFS hosted in-house. We have window application which is data entry tool and when any error generated Staff can raise support request via clicking one button which includes all traceback and any other necessary information for us to debug or they can raise new support work. We are thinking to integrate VSTS for our support work as well by calling API endpoint to create a task in VSTS.
I am thinking to use one service account in code that calls API to create a work item in VSTS however, I need to update System.CreatedBy field to the actual user rather than service account who raises this work item. I have seen numbers of other posts which says its read-only field.
The process is, I create a work item and then update CreatedBy field by calling following endpoint.
https://XXXXXX.visualstudio.com/DefaultCollection/_apis/wit/workitems/11?bypassRules=true&api-version=1.0
passing following JSON
[
{
"op": "replace",
"path": "/fields/System.CreatedBy",
"value": "Test, Mr <Test#example.com>"
},
]
This doesn't update the field.
Is there any way I can update this field? Thanks for your time.
Well, just read this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/azure/devops/wit/work-items/update?view=azure-devops-rest-6.0#update-a-link
NOTE: System.CreatedBy and System.CreatedDate can only be modified using bypass rules on work item creation, i.e. the first revision of a work item.

ServiceNow REST API with Table name for Alert

I have gone through the below link to know about Table REST API of ServiceNow:
https://express.servicenow.com/support/documentation/r_TableAPIGETRecordMethod/
My requirement is to obtain all the record from Alert table
using Table REST API i.e. 'GET /api/nowv1/table/(tableName)'.
Now my question is , what will be the name of the (tablename) for Alert in the API itself to get the alerts which are already created in the table and can be seen using via "manage the alert life cycle feature" by navigating "Event Management > Active Alerts" (See : http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Managing_Alerts#Managing_the_Alert_Life_Cycle) ?
If you're an administrator, you can get the table name from the table label (e.g. "Alert") by going to the sys_db_object table (via "Tables" entry in the left nav).
Just search for the row with the label you want, and the table name will be the name of that row.
As any other user, you can just open any record in the table in a new tab/window (i.e. outside of the usual frameset) and look at the URL.
For your case, I opened "All Alerts", then opened an arbitrary record, which took me to this url suffix:
/em_alert.do?sys_id=df7a6f00d72321008de76ccf6e610322
This tells us that the table name for "All Alerts" is em_alert
I got the answer.
In order to work with servicenow event/alert, you need to plugin the Event Management module in your PaaS developer instance, if you are new in ServiceNow.
This link (https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/home ) is for applying for new developer instance. First you need to register and then you will be getting the instance. Once you have the instance allocated, you are provissioned to add "Event Management" plugin and then your developer instance (so far free) is a place for you to learn about ServiceNow Event Management system for doing research & development on event/alert table API etc. Note : The developer instance may not support real monitoring features e.g. : (1) detect an event; (2) send an alert of an event;
The API for getting alert info will be :
GET https://.service-now.com/api/now/v1/table/em_alert with basicauth credential

How to get recordsChanged sync status using JS Datastore API?

I'm using the JavaScript SDK flavor of the Dropbox Datastore API with a web app for mobile and desktop. When the recordsChanged event fires while the app is offline, object data about those changes are generated but the changes can't sync to the datastore until the app is online again.
The event data can be checked against the settings table, for instance, like this:
e.affectedRecordsForTable("settings")
But the array data returned has a lot of layers to wade through.
[t_datastore: t_deleted: false_managed_datastore: t_record_cache: t_rid: "startDate"_tid: "settings"__proto__: t]
I would like to capture the "has been synced" or the "not yet synced" status of each change (each array index) so that I can store the data still waiting to sync in case the session is lost (user closes the app/browser or OS kills the app process). But I also want to know if/when the data does eventually sync successfully. Where can I find the property holding this data?
I found my answer. Steve Marx has a post on the Dropbox developer blog that covers the information I needed. There is a datastore.getSyncStatus().uploading property that returns true or false depending on the state of the datastore sync status.

how can i delete a Facebook Test User with 2+ apps using the Graph API

When i try to delete the user like it says in the docs (http://developers.facebook.com/docs/test_users/#deleting) i get the error response :
(#2903) Cannot delete this test account because it is associated with other applications. Use DELETE app_id/accounts/test-users/test_account_id to remove it from other apps first. Use GET test_user_id/ownerapps to get complete list of owner apps.
then when i try to do what it says (replacing <user_id> and <app_id> with a facebook numeric id) :
DELETE <app_id>/accounts/test-users/<user_id> to remove it from other apps first
i get this error :
Unknown path components: /<user_id>
am i missing something ?
As the error said you cannot delete an user because it has been assigned to two or more application.
The workaround for this is to get all the applications which are using this specific user using this call
"https://graph.facebook.com/TEST_ACCOUNT_ID/ownerapps&access_token=YOUR_APP_ACCESS_TOKEN"
This will give you the list of app the test account is attached to prior decoding the object with a JSON serializer. Then you can remove and not delete the test account from each app until only one remains using :
"https://graph.facebook.com/APP_ID/accounts/test-users?uid=TEST_ACCOUNT_ID&access_token=APPLICATION_ACCESS_TOKEN&method=delete"
When only one app remains you can delete the test account using :
"https://graph.facebook.com/TEST_ACCOUNT_ID?method=delete&access_token=TEST_ACCOUNT_ACCESS_TOKEN"
Hope this help!
