That is very simple flash iOS project with FB 4.7, AIR SDK 3.6, and running on iPad2(5.1.1).
When I debug with the default AIR SDK 3.4 of FB 4.7, the project is running ok. But, when I upgrade the AIR SDK to 3.6 according the help of Adobe. The FB 4.7 debuger can't connect to running process, and the "hello world" doesn't show as well.
Any suggestions?
I know what's wrong with the problem.
The key is the step 4. in Adobe AIR SDK Upgrade Help.
Copy the contents from the aot folder (AIRSDK_back_up\lib\aot) of the AIR SDK backup to the aot folder of the newly created AIR SDK (AIRSDK\lib\aot).
Don't copy all contents from the aot folder, just copy strip from lib\aot\bin to the aot bin folder of the newly created AIR SDK 3.6 (AIRSDK\lib\aot\bin).
Then, I restart the FB 4.7, the "hello world!" show as well.

iOS configuration details: iOS SDK is installed correctly!
Xcode: Version 4.6.2 (4H1003)
Mac OS X: v. 10.8.3
Problem description:
Hello there,
I am trying to configure Titanium in order for it to build apps for both Android 4.x and iOS 6.1. The Android part works fine so far, the iOS part doesn't (the "run" button in run configurations under the newly created iPhone configuration is greyed out).
In its preferences Titanium automatically found the iOS SDK Home path, developer certificates are present, as are provisioning profiles. The device is also registered (I can build, compile and install iOS apps on an actual device using the latest Xcode Version 4.6.2 (4H1003) on 64-bit Mac OS X 10.8.3). The Xcode iOS emulator also works fine.
I also tried to create a new configuration under iOS Application Installer but there is a red x in front of "select development certificate" and I can not change anything. The same goes for "select provisioning profile". When I click "browse" to select a project, the list is empty.
Any ideas, anyone? :-)
Kind regards,
Pieter Vloem
I followed this link http://wiki.developerforce.com/page/Getting_Started_with_the_Mobile_SDK_for_iOS#Working_with_the_SDK
to as to integrate my iOS App with the SalesForce. Now while creating new project I can't se the Native Force.com Rest App Template in New Project Wizard, instead only Hybrid Force.com App template is been shown.
Help Appreciated.
I recently solved this problem by Updating to OS X 10.7.3 and doing a fresh install of XCode 4.3.1, then re-installing SalesForce. After the re-install, the REST template was right where it belonged!
Make sure you set the XCode directory so that SF knows where to put the files, otherwise the install will hang!
sudo xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
I hope you get it solved!
Salesforce Mobile SDK for iOS was updated to version 1.1 this past week. Among the fixes were updated instructions for installing the SDK on Xcode 4.3. The old install script doesn't work for the latest version of Xcode so getting the latest source code from Github might solve your problem.
As the the Question asks,
I currently sport xcode 3.2.3 with iOS 4.0.1 but I want to test on my iPhone which is stuck on 4.0.2
Thus I cannot do so until the SDK for 4.0.2 is accessible from xcode.
Where can I download a patch update from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 because the iPhone members page seems to only link me to the package including xcode 3.2.3 with iOS4.0.2 SDK
I don't want to download the whole thing because it's > 2.5 gigs and my New Zealand internet Connection is shizenhouzen.
I can't restore to a previous version, because for some reason I only have a previous back up of the iPhone on my now defunct windows PC.
I'm afraid you have to download the entire SDK - Apple do not provide 'patches' (4.0.1 to 4.02, for example) AFAIK, and I'd be nervous about downloading anything that claims it is a patch.
It's a common grumble, twitter is a fun place when apple push these .1 SDK updates out :)
You do have to download the whole thing to upgrade. It really sucks. :-(
I wish I could remember to download the SDK before upgrading my devices.
You can still build adhoc releases of your app and install them using itunes if you're in a real bind - it's just the debugger, console viewing and automatic installation of builds that won't work at all.
I installed the latest GM of the iPhone SDK and now I can't build and compile many of the example projects on the Apple iPhone dev site. When I load them, the configuration bar says "Base SDK is missing." It appears the example project I'm trying to build (QuartzDemo) is trying to build against the v3.1.2 SDK. How can I install an older version of the iPhone SDK that works with the latest GM? Or how can I get this project to build with the current GM version of the SDK?
Thanks so much in advance for your help!
Change the base SDK of the project to 4.0; 3.1.3 and earlier aren't supported.
Hi does anyone know where I can download iPhone sdk 2.0 and 2.2.1 . I upgraded to the latest version of the sdk (3.1.2) and it broke my application.
In the 3.1.2 installer it gave option to install the 2.2 sdk but it doesn't show up as an option in xcode when I try to execute my app. The earliest version it will show me is 2.2.1
Thanks,
Joe
"Officially" you're not able to downgrade your iPhone once upgraded and archiving copies is possibly copyright infringement but there are sites out there that host copies if you want to try anyway.
