I'm trying to read my emails from Emacs, under Linux. I'm using the Notmuch mail client. So far, so good, I managed to send email and even integrated LDAP.
However, I receive Outlook meeting request. I normally response to such emails with the Lighting plugin of Mozilla Thunderbird.
How can I response to Outlook meeting requests from Emacs?

My question is why to use SMTP for sending and POP3 for receiving messages when SMTP can do both send and receive?
This is because SMTP requires the recipant to be ready to receive the message directly after it has been send, where POP3 is able to store the message temporarly somewhere else until the recipant is ready to accept the message.

I want to know that Gmail (Web client) uses IMAP for itself to show messages in Inbox and other folders and for other CRUD and other operations as any other Web mail client does like RoundCube or AtMail or it has its own internal methods to fetch emails and perform different operations?
Please let me know... how Gmail works internally?
Gmail is not using IMAP for its native interface. It uses a closed source internal system.

I used to send automatic email to users of my website for various reasons like
activating new user accounts
when their question on a forum gets an answer
etc
However, now with the new gmail via feature, my emails go to their spam folder as it has (info#bamozir.com via blabla.hostgator.com)
I removed the email content to make sure the problem is not because of the content of the activation email, it still goes to the spam folder.
